Bert Lamm Jr.
A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, in Lincoln Willamette Funeral Directors for Bert Lamm Jr., who died Nov. 3 of congestive heart failure at age 83. Mr. Lamm was born Nov. 11, 1916, in Meridian, Idaho. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Forces. He moved to Portland in 1960 and was a parts department manager for John Deere for about 35 years before retiring in 1981. In 1940, he married
Dorothy Brown; she died in 1995.
Survivors include his daughter, Roberta Lamm-Delemos; son, Donald; and two grandchildren.
Interment will be in Willamette National cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Oregon.
Ronald David Lint
A memorial gathering will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at 8314 N.E. Spurrel Road, in Woodland, Wash., for Ronald David Lint, who died Oct. 31 age 59. Mr. Lint was born May 25, 1941, in Sacramento, Calif., and was raised in Vancouver, Wash., where he graduated from Hudson's Bay High School. In the early 1960s, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He had lived in Portland since the late 1980s and for the past two years was a courier for Express Messenger Systems. In 1989, he married
Dana L. "Vicki" Robinson.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Ronda Durr; stepdaughter, Laura Keathley; stepson, Gerald Keathley; sisters, Violet Robison Fern Robison; Nola Kerlee; brothers, Verl and Wendell; and two grandchildren.
Disposition was by cremation. Arrangements are by Omega Funeral & Cremation Service.
June Fay Cloninger Miles
June Fay Cloninger Miles died Oct. 28, 2000, at age 79. No service will be held. Mrs. Miles was born Nov. 8, 1920, in Portland. Her maiden name was Cloninger. She lived throughout Yamhill and Multnomah counties, and graduated from Yamhill-Carlton Union High School. She was a waitress, including for the Multnomah Hotel. In the mid-1950s, she worked for the Matson Lines and was one of the first women employed on a cruise ship. She later moved to San Francisco and worked at Lefty O'Doul's. In the early 1960s she returned to Portland and worked at the Barbary Coast, a restaurant and bar. She moved in the late 1960s to Alaska and was a housekeeper, first on an off-shore oil rig and later for a pipeline company. In 1980, she retired and returned to Portland.
Survivors include her sister, Claudia Hall.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the Oregon Humane Society. Arrangements were by Bateman-Carroll Funeral Chapel.
Elizabeth T. Odegard
A memorial gathering will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, in the Clackamas home of Ralph Odegard for Elizabeth T. Odegard, who died Nov. 5 at age 88. Mrs. Odegard was born April 28, 1912, in Jamestown, N.D., and as a child moved to Portland. Her maiden name was Schlick. She graduated from Commerce High School. She was a homemaker, a member of Faith Lutheran Church, and she competed with her Brittany spaniels in Oregon dog shows and obedience trials. In 1929, she married
Olaf O. Odegard; he died in 1992.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Smith; son, Ralph; sister, Madeline Gassaway; and three grandchildren.
Disposition is by cremation. Arrangements are by Cornwell Colonial Chapel.
Lorene Mary Ott
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, in the Beaverton Elks Lodge for Lorene Mary Ott, who died Nov. 3 at age 85. Mrs. Ott was born July 1, 1915, in Hardisty, Alberta. Her maiden name was Hinkley. She moved to Gresham in 1920 and graduated from Gresham High School in 1933. A homemaker, she lived in Salem in the 1940s, then in Sunnyside from 1948 until moving to Beaverton in 1981. She was a member of Sunset Presbyterian Church and volunteered with Loaves & Fishes, the Casey Eye Institute and Helping Hands. In 1938, she married
Albert Ott.
Survivors include her husband; daughter, Arloene; son, Douglas; and sisters, Doris Graffam and Donna Wallace.
Private interment will be in Skyline Memorial Gardens. The family suggests remembrances to the Elks Children's Eye Clinic.
William G. Phelps
William G. Phelps died Nov. 1, 2000, at age 40. A gathering was held. Mr. Phelps was born Oct. 24, 1960, in Portland. He attended Milwaukie High School and was a machinist for several companies until the 1980s.
Survivors include his daughters, Mariah and Samantha; father, Walter; sister, Jacqueline Arvidson; brothers, Dan Rice, Randall Phelps and Geoff Phelps; and grandmother, Georgia Mansker.
Disposition is by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to any crime victims organization. Arrangements are by Telophase Cremation.
Katie Iva Radovich
Katie Iva Radovich died Oct. 28, 2000, at age 76. No service will be held. Miss Radovich was born Aug. 30, 1924, in Multnomah. She attended Lincoln High School and Phagan's Beauty School, and worked as a beautician as a young woman.
Survivors include her sisters, Nellie Radovich and Golda Warren; and brother, Stanley.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity. Arrangements were by American Burial and Cremation.
Clara Helen Robertson
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, in Attrell's Newberg Funeral Chapel for Clara Helen Robertson, who died Nov. 4 at age 94. Mrs. Robertson was born June 2, 1906, in Loman, Minn. Her maiden name was Hagerty. She moved to Sandlake in 1915 and in 1927 to Dundee, where she lived for 63 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dundee United Methodist Church. She later lived in Mount Angel and recently moved to Newberg. In 1927, she married
Myles Melvin Robertson; he died in 1998.
Survivors include her brother, Thomas Ward; daughter-in-law, Delores Robertson; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Her son, Mylne D., died in 1982.
Interment will be in Dundee Pioneer cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the cemetery.
Wayne Allan Schafer
Wayne Allan Schafer died Oct. 30, 2000, of cancer at age 46. A private service will be held. Mr. Schafer was born Dec. 26, 1953, in Portland. He graduated from Reynolds High School. He was a brakeman and switchman for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for the past 26 years. He moved to Boring in 1992 and was a member of Rockwood Church of God. He married
Linda McKeon in 1986.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Julie Bordeaux; mother, Velma; sister, Sandra Leymaster; and one grandchild.

Marie Simard
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, in St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 5105 S.W. Franklin in Beaverton for Marie Simard, who died Nov. 8 at age 91. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, in Pegg, Paxson & Springer Funeral Home. Mrs. Simard was born April 27, 1909, in Oregon City. Her maiden name was Livesay. A homemaker, she lived most of her life in Tigard before moving to Beaverton in 1995. She was a member of the church. In 1932, she married
Roland Simard.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Mary Lou Simard and Jean Baldwin; sisters, June Rayner and Louise Luker; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in St. Anthony's Catholic cemetery in Tigard. The family suggests remembrances to the Alzheimer's Treatment and Research Center at Oregon Health Sciences Foundation.
Livia Vidor Steierman
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, in Shaarie Torah Memorial cemetery Chapel for Livia Vidor Steierman, who died Nov. 8 at age 79. Mrs. Steierman was born June 18, 1921, in Dej, Romania, and moved to Mexico City as a child. Her maiden name was Vidor. A homemaker, she lived in Mexico City until 1993, then in San Diego until moving to Lake Oswego at the end of last month. In 1940, she married
Esteban Steierman.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Miriam Martin, Susana Steierman and Yolanda Adato; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Gilbert Tamayo
Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, in Canby Funeral Chapel for Gilbert Tamayo, who died Nov. 7 of kidney, liver, lung and heart disease at age 47. Mr. Tamayo was born March 6, 1953, in Lubbock, Texas, and moved to Canby in 1964. He had been a laborer for Skyline Farms in Woodburn. He married
Beatrice Moreno; they had been separated for many years.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Raul, Mario and two named Gilbert; daughter, Diana; sisters, Geneva Moreno, Lilly Moralez, Dorothy Long, Elida Medina and Elaine Rodriguez; and brothers, Fred III, George, Daniel and Felix.
Disposition is by cremation.
A private service was held for Christopher Flavian Vacheresse, who died at birth Oct. 27, 2000.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Dean and Terry Vacheresse; brothers, Zayne and Dillon; and sister, Ava.
Interment is in Lone Fir cemetery. Arrangements were by Caldwell's Colonial Chapel.
