Charles Leroy Faulk
Oklahoma City resident Charles Leroy Faulk died Sunday at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was 75.
Faulk was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Arcadia to Guy Gilbert and Viva (Cokely) Faulk.
He was a truck driver and postal worker for 14 years. He became a member of the Church of Christ in 1961.
Survivors include his wife, Fern (Cooper) Faulk, of the home; daughter, Kimberly Ann Faulk, Oklahoma City; brother, Russell Faulk, Elk City; sisters, Clara Siegfried, Harrah, Alice Boyle, Oklahoma City, and Pearl Christy, Strawberry, Calif.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services
will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery, which is between Arcadia and Edmond, with Louis Hale officiating under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service.
Margaret Milam
Shawnee resident Margaret Milam died Thursday at a local nursing home. She was 89.
She was born Dec. 15, 1909, in Amorita to Jim and Iva Milam.
She graduated from high school in Alva and then graduated from Northwestern in Alva. She was a retired beauty operator. She also was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
Graveside services
were 1 p.m. Monday at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. James Blagg officiating under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
John Dirk Sol
Chandler resident John Dirk Sol, 71, died Sunday in Chandler.
He was born Oct. 31, 1927, in Missoula, Mont., to Joe A. and Ruth Velma (Graham) Sol.
He married Lois A. Cook on March 6, 1949.
He started his business as a horseman and rancher in Montana. He moved to Chandler in 1973 and continued to raise horses.
Survivors include his wife, Lois A. (Cook) Sol, Chandler; mother Ruth Velma Sol, Missoula, Mont.; son and daughter-in-law, John Dirk Jr. and Alice Sol, Missoula, Mont.; daughters and sons-in-law, Trish Hoover, Jana and Jack Steele, and Geneva and Bob Stossel, all of Chandler, and Anne Rusoff, Bozeman, Mont.; grandchildren, Gene, Jack and Jesse Sol, all of Missoula, Mont., Shawn and Amy Hoover and Fox and Angie Hoover, all of Chandler, Bobby and Misty Stossel and Jami Stossel, all of Pawnee, Jill Steele, McAlester, and Joe and JaLinda Steele, Perkins; four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the American Legion Hut in Chandler under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Chandler.
Lillie Mae Potts-Bullion
Lillie Mae Potts-Bullion died Friday. She was 70.
Mrs. Potts-Bullion was born Oct. 11, 1928, in Willow to Mose Potts and Mary Lou Harris.
She married Roy Lee Bullion on Nov. 17, 1959.
She was raised in Kiamichi and moved to Shawnee in 1945. She attended Dunbar High School. She became a Christian at an early age and was a member of Bell and Farrell Church of Christ. She retired from Allen Bradley-TDK in 1991.
Survivors include her husband, Roy; sons and daughters-in-law, Inman and Norma, Shawnee, Ronnie and Teresa, Phoenix, Ariz., Donald and Milton, both of Everett, Wash., Ricardo, Shawnee, and Andrew, Phoenix, Ariz.; daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred, Little Rock, Ark., Patricia and Freddie, Oklahoma City, Deretress, Oklahoma City, Shirley, Shawnee, Othella and Bola, Port Arthur, Texas, and Francene and Isaiah, Shawnee; sister, Rose Lee Lawrence, Oklahoma City; stepsister, Carolyn Walters, Los Angeles, Calif.; 32 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Wesley Brown; and sister, Mary Ellen York.
Viewing is set for 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the Bell and Farrell Church of Christ in Shawnee. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Central Church of Christ in Shawnee. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee under the direction of Temple and Sons Funeral Directors, Inc.
James Lynn Overstreet
Shawnee resident James Lynn Overstreet died Sunday in Shawnee. He was 51.
Overstreet was born Oct. 18, 1947, in Comanche to Billie Sid and Irene (Roach) Overstreet.
He married Alice Schoemann on July 17, 1967, in Tecumseh.
He was a 1965 graduate of Asher High School. He grew up in Velma, then lived in south Pottawatomie County. He later moved to Fort Worth, Texas, but returned to Pottawatomie County in 1979.
He worked as a carpenter at Tinker Air Force Base before retiring. He also served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and earned a Bronze Star. He was a member of the Asher First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Overstreet, of the home; son, Brian Overstreet, of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Christy and Chad Fowler, Tecumseh, and Kimberly Overstreet, of the home; sister, Evelyn Holt, Ada; brother, Kenneth Overstreet, Tulsa; and grandchildren, Tiffany and Kyle Fowler, both of Tecumseh.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Overstreet.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Caldwell officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee under the direction of Cooper Funeral Chapel.

Sean Maurice Codopony
Sean Maurice Codopony was born and died Thursday.
Sean was the infant son of Richard and Anita Codopony of Apache.
Survivors include his parents, Richard and Anita Codopony Jr., Apache; sister, Mariah Ella Codopony, of the home; brother, Damian Thomas Codopony, of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Codopony Sr., Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Steele, Shawnee; great-grandmothers, Ruth King, Clarksville, Ark.; and Bonnie Steele, Shawnee.

will be 2 p.m. today at Cache Creek Indian Cemetery, Apache, with the Rev. Janine Dekker officiating.
Oliver Rudolph Reed
Oliver Rudolph "Rudy" Reed, 79, Seminole, died Friday at his home.
He was born March 2, 1921, in Seminole to Virgil Richard Reed and Sophia May (Stewart) Reed.
He was a lifelong resident of Seminole County. Reed married Betty J. (Hunter) Reed in 1943 in Shawnee.
He was a self-employed oilfield pumping contractor. He worked in Saudi Arabia for several years.
Reed was a member of Convenant Life Family Church, former member of Seminole Masonic Lodge and Pauls Valley Masonic Lodge No. 6.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Nellie Nunn and Aline Cravens.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Reed of the home; sons, Jerry Reed of Seminole and Richard Reed of Purcell; one daughter, Sharon Fields; three sisters, Deloris McMillion of Oklahoma City; Dorothy Pemberton of Corpus Christi, Texas; and Josephine of Anadarko; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, Seminole. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Seminole.
Donna Gail Storie
Donna Gail Storie of Shawnee died Thursday at her home. She was 50.
She was born May 9, 1950, in Russellville, Ark., the daughter of Rayburn and Bertha Juanita (Bond) Bowden.
She was co-owner of the American Stone Co. She married Doug Storie on Sept. 14, 1968.
She was a resident of Shawnee for 29 years, moving from Pottsville, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include husband, Doug Storie of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Zona Storie, Shawnee; Brent and Christie Storie, Shawnee; three grandchildren, Haley Storie, Bailey Storie and Zane Storie; six brothers, Freddy Storie, Tommy Storie, Eddie Storie, Rex Storie, Joe Storie and Randy Storie; five sisters, Ann, Sandra, Karen, Deborah and Julia.
Services will be today at Hoskins Cemetery, Pottsville, Ark., under the direction of Lemley Funeral Home, Atkins, Ark.
Herbert J. Alford Sr.
Shawnee resident Herbert J. Alford Sr. died Thursday at a local hospital. He was 86.

will be 10 a.m. Monday at Johnson Cemetery under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ellis Rolette officiating.

Shawnee resident Travis Edward Blocker died Thursday at a local nursing home. He was 70.

Cecil Leo Malone
St. Cloud, Fla., resident Cecil Leo Malone died June 1 in St. Cloud. He was 50.
Malone was born June 20, 1948, in Asher to Fern McBroom Malone and Walter Ray Malone. He married Bevette Lindsay on Sept. 6, 1969.
He had attended Asher High School and graduated from Macomb High School in 1967.
He was a member of the Army and Army Reserves and served in the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Benton Express and moved to Florida in 1988.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and American Veterans Association. He received the Purple Heart Award and was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bevette; mother, Fern Malone, Macomb; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Gisela Box, Waterloo, N.Y.; Chris and Patricia Malone, Alexandria, Va.; sisters, Melba Malone and Molly Malone, both of Macomb; sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Bill Roberts, Macomb; niece, Melissa Malone, Alexandria, Va.; Jason Malone, Macomb; Jimmy Box, Philadelphia, Penn.; and Robbie Box, Norfolk, Va.; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Ray Malone; grandparents, James William McBroom and Lizzia Mae Johnson McBroom; James Jason Malone and Ella Georgia Malone.
Services were held June 6 at Fisk Funeral Home and Crematory, St. Cloud, Fla. Burial was in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.

Stanley Jiles Clingenpeel
Lifelong Stroud resident Stanley Jiles Clingenpeel died Thursday in Stroud. He was 83.
Clingenpeel was born March 24, 1916, in Stroud to Joseph Milton and Emma Jane (Gilman) Clingenpeel. He married Verleta Mae Wilson on Sept. 2, 1941, in Chandler.
He retired from Allied Material Corporation, where he worked as a pipe fitter. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Stroud.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Cecilia Clingenpeel, Tulsa; David and Rhonda Clingenpeel, Stroud; two daughters, Janie Reed, Stroud; Daisy Harris, Shawnee; six grandchildren, one great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, on March 4, 1998; his parents, four brothers and five sisters.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Stroud with the Rev. Don Wilburn officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery.
