Alma Ham
Longtime Seminole resident Alma Ham died Monday at a local nursing home. She was 96.
She was born Sept. 18, 1904, in Maud. She was the daughter of Henry Sherman Hopson and Lou (Northcott) Hopson.
She was married July 1, 1922, to Jim Brown, who preceded her in death Feb. 17, 1974. She was married in 1982 to M.B. Ham, who preceded her in death in 1991.
Mrs. Ham, a homemaker, was a member of the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sister, Dessie Hopson of Seminole; three nieces, Edna Hardin of Concord, Calif.; Mary Lou Power of Alta Loma, Calif.; Lois Brewer of Long Beach, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Nathan Malone and the Rev. Doyle Gadberry officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Eula Floyd
Eula Floyd, 93, Seminole, died Sunday at a local nursing home.
She was born July 19, 1907, in Earlsboro, the daughter of Joe Battle and Lula Battle.
Mrs. Floyd, a housekeeper, was a lifelong Seminole County resident. She married Lonnie Floyd.
An evangelist, Mrs. Floyd was a member of the Church of the Living God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, McCoy Battle; and grandson, Mack Ernest Battle.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Leslie Battle of Seminole; grandchildren, Terry Battle, Beverly Ingram, Joan Hirsch, Sharon Ashford; five great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Doyle Long officiating. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Seminole.
Pearlie L. Lewis
Pearlie L. Lewis of Oklahoma City died Tuesday at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was 79.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel. Further arrangements are pending.
Dorothy E. Gilbert
Dorothy E. Gilbert of Shawnee died Monday at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was 73.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel.
Ladine Karnes
Ladine Karnes of Newalla died Tuesday in Norman. She was 73.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gilber Hughes officiating. Burial will be at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
Further arrangements will be announced.
Robert E. Lambright
Robert E. "Bob" Lambright, 90, Medical Lake, Wash., died Dec. 21, 2000, in Cheney, Wash.
He was born May 26, 1910, in Huntsville, Ark. His family later moved to Oklahoma, where he attended school and worked.
In 1945, he enlisted in the Air Force and served in the Pacific during World War II. He went to Washington in 1955 and was a track laborer for the Spokane Portland and Seattle Railroad. He retired from Burlington Northern Railroad in 1972.
He was a member of the American Legion, Post 72, in Cheney, Wash.; the 8 and 40 L Club of the American Legion, the West Plains Community Fair Association and St. John's Lutheran Church in Medical Lake, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John, Ralph, Jim; and sisters, Cora, Etta and Nell.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine of the home; children, Laural Hepton and husband Jim; Russell Holloway and wife Donna; Penelope Bankey and husband Mark; Nina McConnell and husband Joe; and Scott Lambright, Yorktown, Va.; 12 grandchildren; foster grandchildren; brother, Eldon Lambright of Tecumseh and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date. Cheney Funeral Chapel, Cheney, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.

Freeman "Shorty" Trahan, 70, Shawnee, died Tuesday in Shawnee.

Sonya Lynn Ernest died Wednesday. She was 33.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Drumright, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Drumright.
Flora Mae Pease
Flora Mae Pease of Oklahoma City died Wednesday. She was 92.
She was born March 2, 1907, in Checotah. She was the daughter of James Buchanan Smith and Gettie Lee (Phelps) Smith.
Mrs. Pease lived most of her life in Seminole, moving to Oklahoma City 12 years ago. She was a homemaker.
She married James Lester Pease June 22, 1925, in Seminole. He preceded her in death May 16, 1980.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Seminole, Democratic Party and PTA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Survivors include three sons, Les Pease of Belvidere, Ill.; Damon Pease of Mustang; Dale Pease of Richardson, Texas; four daughters, Linda Jones of Oklahoma City; Theda Landrith of Seminole; Myra Lawson of Long Beach, Calif.; Sonnie Presley of El Reno; brother, Freeman Smith of Shawnee; two sisters, Faye Wilkerson of Fort Smith, Ark.; Freda Lewis of Yukon; 22 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services
will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Little Cemetery, with Dr. William Bentley officiating, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Brenda E. Sloat
Brenda E. Sloat, 32, Oklahoma City, died Tuesday. Services are set for 3 p.m. Friday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel, Shawnee.
Other services and arrangements will be announced.
Sue Jordan
Sue Jordan of McLoud died Tuesday. She was 61.
She was born Dec. 6, 1938, in Ganns. She was the daughter of Steve and Ruth (Russell) Jordan.
Mrs. Jordan attended school in Muskogee. She was reared in Muskogee.
She lived in California before moving to Oklahoma City. She had lived in McLoud since 1973.
On Dec. 6, 1958, she married Fred Jordan in Stigler. She was a corporate officer with J&S Paper Co. in Oklahoma City.
She was a member of University Baptist Church in Shawnee, being baptized at age 14 at the First Baptist Church in Muskogee.
She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Jordan, and two brothers, Monte and Ronald Jordan.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Jordan of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Fred S. and Vicki Jordan of Shawnee; daughters, Teresa Jordan of McLoud and Julie Jordan of Shawnee; mother, Ruth Jordan of Muskogee; three grandchildren, Michelle Jordan of Shawnee; Erik Jordan and wife, Mindy of Shawnee and Chelsea Jordan of McLoud; two great-grandchildren, Jacey and Kami Jordan of Shawnee; five brothers and spouses, Raymond and Shirley Rogers of Newton, N.C.; Jerry and Darlene Jordan of Muskogee; Bill Jordan of Oklahoma City; Beau Jordan of Muskogee and Danny and Linda Jordan of Tulsa; three sisters and spouses, Sherry and Walter Davis, Kathy and Scott Crain and Vicki Strader all of Muskogee; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, a special nephew, Monte Jordan of Oklahoma City.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at University Baptist Church in Shawnee with Bob Searle and Robert Millsap officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Lester Claud Lacy
Lester Claud Lacy of Lindsay died Sunday in Purcell. He was 86.
He was born May 13, 1913, in Lindsay to Clarence E. Lacy and Sarah M. Wood Lacy. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lindsay.
Lacy graduated from Lindsay High School and Draughn's Business School in Oklahoma City. He went on to work in other towns and returned to Lindsay after retiring.
Mr. Lacy was County Office Manager for the Agricultural Stabilization Service with the Department of Agriculture in Pauls Valley, Shawnee, Wilburton and Hugo. He belonged to the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and also served in the National Guard.
He married Jean Corley Lacy on Aug. 7, 1975, in Pauls Valley.
Mr. Lacy was a tennis player and played in many tournaments.
Survivors include his wife of the home; children and their spouses, Malcolm and Jean Lacy of Palm Bay, Fla., Christine and Carl Bishop of Wilburton, Claud and Patty Lacy of Fayetteville, Ark., Corley and James Steen of Lindsay and Jack and Vickey Selby of Van Buren, Ark.; grandchildren and their spouses, Tom and Alice Lacy of Cooper City, Fla., Mike and Sue Lacy of Troy, Mich., Ken and Kelly Lacy of Glendale, Ariz., Natalie Lacy of Palm Bay, Fla., Adrian Lacy of Dallas, Texas, Kathryn Mia Rose Lacy of Fayetteville, Ark., Jeff and Jennifer Bishop of Iowa City, Iowa, Scott Bishop of Gaithersburg, Md., Ammie and Chad Selby of Van Buren, Ark., Autumn Buys of Chandler and Heather Selby of DeRidder, La.; great-grandchildren, Shanya Lacy, Megan Lacy, Skyler Selby, Conner and Chase Lacy and Christian Lacy; one brother and sister-in-law, Urel and Vivian Lacy of Lindsay, and one sister-in-law, May Lacy of Lindsay.
Funeral services
will be 2 p.m. Thursday at B.G. Boydston Funeral Chapel with Dr. Tim Wilkins officiating. A eulogy will be given by Lacy's son, Malcolm Lacy.
Interment
will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay.
Jerry L. Johnson
Jerry L. Johnson of San Diego, Calif., died Feb. 13 of complications from lung cancer. He was 69.
He was born May 14, 1930, in Shawnee. He joined the Navy in 1948 and served for 20 years in Aviation Ordinance.
After retiring from the Navy, he became a custodian and worked for the National City School District for 20 years until his retirement in 1991.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Tomoko and his three children and their spouses, Jerb and Marguerite, Richard and Marcy, Lacey and Tom, all of San Diego, six grandchildren, all of San Diego, and sister, Louise Colbert of Shawnee.
Private services will be held at Fort Rosecrans. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to American Cancer Society.
Audrey McEntire
Former Shawnee resident Audrey McEntire of Tulsa died Tuesday in Tulsa. She was 91.
Graveside services
will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Highland Cemetery, Okemah, under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel. Further arrangements will be announced.
