Glenda Virginia Martin
Former Tecumseh resident Glenda Virginia Martin, Moore, died Thursday in Oklahoma City at the age of 66.
She was born Aug. 11, 1934, in Tecumseh to James Gilbert and Bonnie Virginia (Van Meter) Allen. She married Roy L. Martin on Feb. 10, 1951, in Tecumseh.
She worked for First National Bank, Moore, where she was vice president until her retirement. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church, Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, on July 18, 1997.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Ginger Martin, Madill; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Walter Simpson, Moore; two grandchildren, Darrell Keith Simpson, Moore; Evan Daniel Martin, Madill; and brother and sister-in-law, James G. II and Joyce Allen, Enid.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the First Freewill Baptist Church, Moore, with the Rev. Dan L. Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Baggerley-South Funeral Home.
The Rev. Frank O. Baugh
Former Shawnee minister the Rev. Frank O. Baugh, Oklahoma City, died Friday. He was 84.
Baugh was born Nov. 30, 1916, in Jackson, Mo., to Clyde and Sarah Baugh. He graduated Jackson High School, Boliver Baptist College and Baylor University.
While attending Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, he married Christine Knox.
Baugh pastored at several churches including the First Baptist Church in Hollis and Hobart, Immanuel in Shawnee, First Southern Baptist in Colorado Springs, Colo., and for 19 years, until his retirement, at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church, Oklahoma City.
He served many capacities with local and state associations and Southern Baptist Conventions and many of his articles were published in The Baptist Messenger and The Shawnee News-Star.
Survivors include his wife, Christine; four children, Lonnie Clyde, Ronnie Van, Mary Jeanette and Rebecca Ann; grandchildren, Mark, Ronnie Van Jr., Jay Darren, Christopher, Christy, Lana and Lisa; four great-grandchildren, Ashley, Megan, Anthony and T.J.; sisters-in-law, Charlene Denny and her daughter Ginger; Jean Roberts and her daughter, Teri; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clyde Jr. and Bobby, and sister, Mary Estelle.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church, 1312 S. Pennsylvania, Oklahoma City.
Memorials may be made to the local mission program of Exchange Avenue Baptist Church.
Bertha Arlene McKinley
Bertha Arlene McKinley, who lived in the Oklahoma City area most of her life, died Friday in Midwest City. She was 93.
She was born Sept. 1, 1907, on her parents' farm near Agra. She was the daughter of Joney and Rose Etta (Camren) McKinley. She lived most of her life in the Oklahoma City area.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include two brothers and sister-in-law, Clarence and Carrie McKinley and George McKinley, all of Oklahoma City; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Violet Rider, Oklahoma City; Pauline and Thomas Little, Moore; Hazel and Ira Mills, Wellston; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel, Chandler, with the Rev. Bill Rackley officiating. Burial will follow at the Stroud Cemetery.
Fred Kimer
Fred Kimer of Oklahoma City died Friday in Oklahoma City. He was 38.
Kimer was born July 1, 1963, in Alva to Allan M. Kimer and Lila L. (Clayton) Cole. On Aug. 16, 2000, he married Phillis Fite in Oklahoma City.
He had lived in Oklahoma City for three years and was a machine operator with Uponor for seven years.
He was preceded in death by his half brother, Wayne Hampton.
Survivors include his wife, Phillis, of the home; son, Freddie Kimer, of the home; father and stepmother, Allan and Wanda Kimer, Tecumseh; mother, Lila Cole, Del City; brother and sister-in-law, John and Peggy Kimer, Huntsville, Ark.; half brother and his wife, Bobby and Anna Hampton, Killeen, Texas; half sister, Sue Hampton, Killeen; half sister and his wife, Janet and Perry Turner, Sand Springs.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home with the Rev. Darrell Witten officiating. Burial will be in Tecumseh Cemetery.
Michal Elizabeth Littlefield
Michal Elizabeth Littlefield died Saturday in Oklahoma City of complications of a bone marrow transplant for the treatment of leukemia. She was 23.
She was born Aug. 27, 1977, in Oklahoma City to Bob and Cindy Littlefield.
She graduated from Moore High School and Oklahoma Baptist University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in child care administration. She was pursuing a master's degree at the University of Central Oklahoma with plans to become a child life specialist at Children's Hospital of Oklahoma.
She was a case manager for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Pottawatomie and Seminole counties and was an active member of the First Free Will Baptist Church, Norman.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, W.A. Bisbee and her grandfather, G.V. Littlefield.
She is survived by her parents, Bob and Cindy, of the home; brother, Mark, Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Melissa, of the home; grandparents, Woodrow and Lennia Threet, Oklahoma City; grandmother, Billie Littlefield, Rose, Okla.; great-grandmother, Maudie Bisbee, Salina, Okla.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Norman, with the Rev. Joe Grizzle and the Rev. Danny Cavett officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore.

Karla Dean McKay
Longtime Seminole resident Karla Dean McKay, 47, died Sunday at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Michael McKay of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Kassie and Lucas Smith of Oklahoma City; one son, Jansen Staley of Tulsa; two stepdaughters, Myria McKay of Seminole and Mandy Simmons her husband, Justin, of Tahlequah; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Ivonna Watson of Las Vegas; one sister-in-law, Barbara Watson of Tyler, Texas; one grandson, two aunts, her ex-husband and other family and friends.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Tommy E. Whitecotton
Lifelong Shawnee resident Tommy E. Whitecotton died Monday in a local hospital. He was 72.
Whitecotton was born on Dec. 1, 1927, in Shawnee, to Ray E. and Elsie M. (Dennison) Whitecotton.
He worked for the Shawnee Fire Department for 38 years, retiring as chief.
He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Whitecotton was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Elsie Whitecotton; a brother, Billy Whitecotton; and a sister, Joy Whitecotton.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores Whitecotton, Shawnee; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Shelley Whitecotton, Earlsboro; Billy and Kathy Whitecotton, Shawnee; a sister and brother-in-law, Vera and Chris Myrick, Shawnee; sister-in-law, Janet Whitecotton, Stidham, Okla.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Whitecotton, Dallas, Texas; Mark and Jason Whitecotton, both of Earlsboro; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive visitors at 621 N. Pennsylvania.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Baptist Church, with the Rev. Leroy Kerbo officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel of Shawnee.
Dorothy Marie Davis
Dorothy Marie Davis died Monday in Oklahoma City. She was 83.
She was born April 19, 1916, in Paden. She was the daughter of Tom S. and Ora (Dawson) Davis.
She was a longtime Prague resident and was a homemaker. She also worked as the kitchen supervisor at Parkland Manor Nursing Home in Prague for 13 years.
She married Charlie Davis on Dec. 31, 1937, in Paden.
They were charter members of the First Holiness Church in Prague and, at the time of her death, she was a member of the Calvary Way Church in Prague. She was also a member of the KC Senior Citizens Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; two grandchildren, Nathilee Annis and Jared Annis and one son-in-law, Kenneth Annis.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Starland and Nancy Davis, Prague; Tommy Davis, Yukon; two daughters and one son-in-law, Charlotte and Tom Schmidt, Arkansas City, Kan.; Jarvis Annis, Prague; one brother and sister-in-law, Starland and Wanda Davis, Okemah; five sisters and one brother-in-law, Anna Mae Case, Paden; Georgia Scott, Prague; Jane Nelson, Harrah; Pansy McAnally, Prague; Lucretia and Jon Hagan, California; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friends at the Prague Nutrition Center.
Funeral services
will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Prague with the Rev. Paul Heard and the Rev. Jimmy Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Lanell J. Hollinsworth
Lanell J. Hollinsworth, Edmond, died Sunday in an Edmond hospital. She was 59.
Mrs. Hollinsworth was born Dec. 19, 1940, in Duncan, the daughter of Burley Paul and Delia (Newton) Harris.
She attended school in Comanche and Duncan. She lived in Comanche for most of her life and moved to Shawnee in 1977.
She married Roy Hollinsworth on Sept. 2, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Mrs. Hollinsworth was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Hollinsworth; parents; a brother; and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Hollinsworth, of the home; two sons, George D. Hollinsworth, Comanche; David Hollinsworth, Lone Grove; a daughter, Cheryl D. Hollinsworth, Shawnee; a sister, Addie Jeanne Nichols, Tecumseh; brother, J. George Harris, Tecumseh; six grandchildren, Kyle, Travis, Blake and Jade Hollinsworth, and Destiny and Madison Foster; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee with Bill Matthews officiating.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Duncan Cemetery in Duncan.
J. David White
J. David White, son of Myrtle Ivy and Jesse Thomas White, died Saturday in McAllen, Texas. He was 81.
He was born Feb. 10, 1919, in Amity, Mo. He made his permanent home in Maryville, Mo., for the past 55 years.
A graduate of Northwest Missouri Teacher's College in 1940, he received his degree in physics and mathematics and then taught at Horace Mann High School. He married Susie McGraw in 1942.
Following the war, he managed the Maryville Municipal Airport. For 20 years he was a first lieutenant in the Missouri National Guard.
Along with Norvel Sayler, he started Maryville Culvert Company. They were joined by Jess Taylor and founded L.P.M. Steel and Wire.
He was in business until the companies were sold and he retired. He has been a longtime member of the First Baptist Church, where he has been a deacon and a member of the church choir.
He was one of a group of men instrumental in starting KNIM radio station in Maryville so broadcasting of the First Baptist Church services would be possible. He served on the St. Francis Hospital Board.
He is survived by his wife; his three daughters and their husbands, Linda and Mike Sperry of Shawnee; Bonnie and Steve Sutton of Maryville, Mo. and Polly and Bruce Twaddle of Maryville, Mo.; nine grandchildren including Kellie Sperry Duran and Stephanie Sperry Shelton formerly of Shawnee; a brother and six sisters.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist church, Maryville, Mo. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church, 121 E. Jenkins, Maryville, Mo. 64468 or Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund, Shawnee.
