B.C. Quary
B.C. Quary, 68, of Prague died Sunday at his home.
He was born June 7, 1933, in Logan County, Ark., to Sidney W. and Myrta Bell (Thompson) Quary.
Quary had been a Prague resident since 1935 and was a retired roofer.
He married Helen Marie Whitehead on Oct. 25, 1954, in Rapid City, S.D.
He attended the Freewill Baptist Church in Paden, Okla.
Quary was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jackie Wayne; and three sisters, Mildred Morrison, Letha Holder and Mary Bell Praytor.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Marie Quary of the home; one son, Terry Glen Quary of Chandler, Ariz.; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Jane and Ronald Kerr of Prague; one stepdaughter and husband, Karen and Lawrence Alice of Seminole; mother-in-law, Irene Harrison of Prague; four grandchildren, Sue Ann Kerr, Tara Marlene Kerr, Kristie Kim Quary and Craig Rayvon Quary; two great-granddaughters; two step-granddaughters; four step-great-grandchildren; six brothers and four sisters-in-law, Calvin Quary, Ed and Helen E. Quary, John L. and Gayle Quary, Henry Quary, Benny and Mary Joyce Quary, all of Prague, and Frank and Sharon Quary of Stroud; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Margaret and Gary Cochran of Stroud, Cora Nell and Jim Eastep of Paden, Norma "Bobbie" Austin and Pearl Lopez, both of Prague; and many more relatives and friends.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Prague with the Rev. Jim Eastep officiating. Burial will follow at Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service.
Benita L. Belcher
Benita L. Belcher, 62, of Arcadia, Okla., died Saturday at an Oklahoma City hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry C. Belcher of the home; one son, Larry Ray Belcher Sr. of Oklahoma City; one grandson, Larry Ray Belcher Jr. of Oklahoma City; brother, Bernie Fellows of Shawnee; three sisters, Lena Gokey of Pawnee, Bonnie Krueger of Blanchard, and Bertha Cantrell of Choctaw; and several nieces and nephews.
No services were held. Arrangements are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
William Alfred Mascho
William Alfred "Bill" Mascho died Sunday at his Chandler home. He was 91.
He ws born June 16, 1910, the son of Alfred Arthur and Nancy Ann (Garrison) Mascho.
Mascho attended school at Chandler and graduated from Oklahoma Military Academy at Claremore. During World War II, he worked in defense at Oak Ridge, Tenn., and received a certificate of recognition and appreciate for his part in the production of the atomic bomb.
He married Lou Celia Coyle on Sept. 28, 1935, in Chandler. She preceded him in death on Feb. 28, 1977.
Mascho married Wilma Murray Miller on Jan. 1, 1979, in Chandler.
Following the war, he returned to Chandler and went into business until his retirement from the Chandler Book Store and Office Supply in November 1996.
Mascho was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Chandler, a past president of the Rotary Club and was active in other civic and community activities.
His parents, seven sisters and two brothers have preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of Chandler; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Julie Mascho of Hot Springs, Ark., and Robert and Judy Mascho of Chandler; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, Chandler. Burial will follow at the Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, with the Rev. Hugh Willoby officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler.
Bessie M. Gregory
Bessie M. Gregory, 88, Shawnee, died Saturday in a Tecumseh care center.
She was born Sept. 28, 1913, in Rising Star, Texas, to John W. Payne and Rosa Mae Gafford Payne.
Gregory attended Elbow High School in Howard County, Texas, and graduated from high school there. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base in jet-blade manufacturing for 10 years before retiring in 1975.
She was married to Victor H. Gregory in Big Spring, Texas.
Gregory was a member of an Oklahoma City Baptist Church and was a long-time participant in a Del City bowling league. She lived in the Shawnee area since 1972.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, three brothers, Raymond Payne, J.W. Payne and Jack Payne; four sisters, Annie Stanley, Eunice Clark, Joy Lennox and Dean Davis.
Gregory is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Paul Slone of Shawnee; a son and daughter-in-law, Aubrey L. and Jo Nelson of Buckner, Mo.; grandchildren and their spouses, Greg and Angie Slone of Tecumseh, Kim and Terry Muirhead of Shawnee, Karen and Ron Blakeney of Sugar Creek, Mo., Aubrey Lewis Jr. of Independence, Mo., and Rick and Theresa Nelson of St. Johns, Virgin Islands; five great-grandchildren and their spouses and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Adams and the Rev Sam Hendry officiating. Burial will be at Sunnyland Cemetery, Del City.
The family has designated Gideons International, P.O. Box 343, Shawnee, OK 74802-0343 as appropriate for contributions.
Nancy V. Blakeley
Nancy V. Blakeley, 66, Oklahoma City, died Thursday.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home with the Rev. Reed Lynn officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Rawleigh Walker
Rawleigh "Speedy" Walker, 63, of Oklahoma City died Tuesday at his home.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Helen; four sons; three daughters; 28 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be 10 a.m. today at Vondel L. Smith South Colonial Chapel, Oklahoma City. Burial will follow at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks.
Arrangements are being handled by Vondel L. Smith & Sons Mortuaries.
Edith Octavia Hewett
Edith Octavia Hewett, 85, of Las Vegas, Nev., died March 30 in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her son, James Hewett of Las Vegas.
A private service will be held Monday. Her body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Home.
Joseph William Gatewood
Joseph William Gatewood, 74, of Corpus Christi, Texas, died Thursday in Corpus Christi.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Rhodes Gatewood; a son, James Gatewood; a daughter, Kandis Gatewood of Shawnee; a sister, Bettie Herndon; a brother, John Gatewood; his wife's family; and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Corpus Christi. Visitation will be today, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.

Konawa resident Leon M. McCain, 72, died Wednesday at an Ada hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestina "Nina" McClain of the home; four daughters, Phyllis Kemper of Visalia, Calif., Janice Opal of Madera, Calif., Sherry Blakley of Bakersfield, Calif., and Linda Elliott of Konawa; one son, Dennis McClain of Byng; three stepchildren, Tanis Gonzales, Manuel Gonzales and Angel Chandler; four sisters, Estelle Stephenson of Bakersfield, Calif., Jean Norman of Bakersfield, Calif., Reva Taylor of Konawa and Virginia Welcher of Ada; one brother, Hershel McClain of Ada; 22 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mitch Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

The Rev. Edward LaDon Vincent Sr., 69, of Shawnee died Sunday.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Vincent of the home; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Donald Bernard and Wendy Vincent of San Bernadino, Calif., Eric and Sherrie Vincent of Lexington, Okla., Clinton Mark and Shenette Vincent of Houston, Texas, Bruce LaDon Jr. Boone of Tishomingo, Okla., and Edward LaDon Jr. and Lynn Vincent of Arlington, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tracy Ann and Marvin Chiles of Ada and Chauntel Renee Vincent of Oklahoma City; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Frank Wright of Ada, William Wright of Del City, Frank James Wright of Lexington, Okla., and Kenneth Vinson of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Ruth Berry of Wetumka, Okla., Jolene Anderson of Oklahoma City, and Clara Vinson of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Estella Lynch of Shawnee; and a host of nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.

Darla Heinzig
Darla Heinzig, 62, of Seminole died Saturday in Shawnee.
She was born Aug. 21, 1939, in Paden, the daughter of Forrest Claude and Clora (Argo) Littrell.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church, the Seminole Elks Lodge and the Birthday Club. She worked as an Oklahoma Department of Human Services auditor.
On Sept. 23, 1955, she married Leon Heinzig, who preceded her in death on June 6, 1993.
Also preceding her in death were her parents and a son, Rocky Heinzig.
Survivors include a son, Chris Heinzig of Wewoka; a daughter, Shelly Heinzig of Seminole; three grandchildren, Brad Heinzig, Dara Lynn Heinzig and Tanner Sturgeon; a sister and brother-in-law, Carlyn and Stanley Allen of San Antonio; a sister, Dena Ellis of Paden; a sister-in-law and her husband, JoAnn and John Coleman of Prague; a great-granddaughter, Abby Heinzig; two aunts, Cordia Carter and Fois Argo, both of Wewoka; two nephews, Chuck Blagg of San Antonio and Todd Ogden of Prague; and a special friend, Tommy Harris of Prague.
Services were 11 a.m. Monday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Prague with the Rev. A.E. "Doc" Webber officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
Frank Anthony
Frank Anthony, 71, of Norman died Sunday in Norman.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church of Norman with Pam Normile officiating. Burial will be in Brooksville Cemetery.

James "Frog" Foster, 74, of Mcloud died Saturday.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis (Cox) Foster of the home; two daughters and one son-in-law, Becky Foster of McLoud and Tissie and Dennis Bassinger of Mcloud; one son, Duane Foster of Mcloud; one sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Roy Whisler of Texas; and four grandsons.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mcloud First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah.

Jewel Josephine Koehler, 85, Tecumseh, died Friday in Shawnee.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Wanette.
