Eva Carroll
Konawa resident Eva Carroll died Thursday at Ada. She was 88.
Mrs. Carroll was born May 29, 1912, in Arkansas.
She married Roy Carroll on March 3, 1949, at Guthrie.
She owned a Dairy Queen and moved from Woodward to Konawa in 1976.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
Survivors include her husband Roy Carroll, Konawa; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Glendon and Debby Carroll, Konawa; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Morris Willis, Canton, Texas, and Joyce and Hank Groff, Bakersfield, Calif.; sister, Versa Lyn, Ponca City; and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Henthorn. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home.
Minnie B. Gill
Minnie B. Gill, 97, of McLoud died Sunday in McLoud. She was 97.
Mrs. Gill was born Oct. 19, 1903, northeast of Noble in Cleveland County, to Jonas and Ethel Todd.
She attended Blackburn School, northeast of Norman.
On July 5, 1921, she married Roy Gill in Norman. They lived northeast of Norman, where they farmed and later boarded and trained dogs.
Mrs. Gill had six children, Leon Gill of Norman; Burton Gill of Shawnee; Mirriam Glee Gill, who died in infancy; Dorothy Kegin of Choctaw; June Bacon of McPherson, Kan.; and Anita Cox of Bend, Ore.
She was a member of the Midwest City Free Methodist Church.
Most of her lifelong friends have preceded her in death, but she is survived by her five children; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Primrose Funeral Chapel, Norman, with the Rev. Oscar T. Kegin officiating and the Rev. Jeff Johnson assisting. Burial will be at Blackburn Cemetery.
Lillie Honeycutt
Lillie Honeycutt of Norman died Sunday at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was 58.
Graveside services
will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jamison Cemetery.

Daniel Robert Jines
Daniel Robert Jines died Sunday in Tennessee. The former Bethel resident was 43.
Services are pending under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
Nora Waller
Nora Waller of Little Axe died Monday in Norman. She was 50.
She was born May 6, 1950, in Little Axe, the daughter of Henry and Dorothy (Kaseca) Tiger.
Waller was a lifelong resident of Little Axe. She attended Chillocco Indian School.
She was a homemaker.
Waller was a member of the Absentee Shawnee Indian Tribe.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include husband Robert Waller, McLoud; daughters and son-in-law, Donna and Clellen Cody, Newalla, and Dorthea White, Norman; sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sheila Goodwin, Tecumseh, and Terry Little Charley, Enid; mother, Dorothy Tiger, Norman; sisters, Ruby DeLodge, Ada, and Frances Blanchard, Norman; brothers, Henry, Raymond and Sherman Tiger, all of Norman, and Eugene Stricklin, Seattle, Wash.; eight grandchildren; uncle, Harold Tiger, Dallas, Texas; aunt, Nellie Maxwell, Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tribal rites this evening at the Waller family home.
Burial will be at the Old Tiger Family Cemetery with Johnny Mann officiating. Services are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
Mary Anna Boggs
Mary Anna Boggs of Sparks died Sunday at a local hospital. She was 93.
Services are pending with Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague.
Glenn Elmer Spicer
Glenn Elmer Spicer died Sunday at a local hospital. He was 71.
He was born April 17, 1929, in Paden, the son of Charley B. and Nana Pauline (Davis) Spicer.
Spicer grew up in Okfuskee County and graduated from Paden High School in 1949.
He moved back to Oklahoma after living in California for 50 years.
He was a supervisor at Pacific Bell Telephone Company at the time of his retirement.
Spicer served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague.
He married Betty Jo (Hessman) Coleman on July 4, 1998, in Lincoln County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, mother of his children, Mary Jane Spicer, and sister, Beverly Cerney.
Survivors include his wife Betty Jo Spicer, Prague; son, Charles R. Spicer, Canyon County, Calif.; daughter, Kathy Crocker, Canyon County, Calif.; stepchildren, Jerry Coleman, Shirley Bland and Robin Cornelius, all of Prague; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services are pending with Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague.
James E. Swope
James E. Swope, 68, Oklahoma City, died Feb. 26 in Oklahoma City.
He was born Aug. 14, 1932, in Oklahoma City, the son of Glen and Inez Swope.
He attended Shawnee High School and Oklahoma State University.
Swope served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a financial adviser.
On July 12, 1969, he married Martha Swope.
Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Dorothy Chitton.
Survivors include his wife and sons and daughter-in-law, Steve Swope and Doug and Charice Swope.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate.
Hazel Anna Dover
Hazel Anna (Williams) Dover died Sunday at Manor Care Nursing Home, Oklahoma City. She was 90.
Dover was born Jan. 11, 1911, in Lincoln County to Franklin C. and Mary Etta (Wall) Williams.
She graduated from Wewoka High School and had lived in the Meeker area most of her life.
Mrs. Dover was a homemaker
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
On May 9, 1931, she married James Burley Dover in Wewoka. He preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 1993.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother, Eugene F. Williams.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia "Pat" Muzny, Oklahoma City, Peggy and Bill Blackwell, Shawnee, and Cathy and Duane Shipman, Edmond; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Earline Williams, Shawnee; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Northridge Church of Christ with Danny Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Meeker, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague.
Wanda June Murdock
Wanda June Murdock, 68, Shawnee, died Friday in a local hospital.
She was born June 6, 1932, in Shawnee, the daughter of James and Ella Murdock.
She worked in assembly at TDK until retirement.
Preceding her in death were her sons, Mitchell Murdock and Don Murdock; brother, Charles Murdock; and sisters, Jo Ann Stevens and Betty Ticer.
Survivors include her children, Norine Rodriquez of Brunswick, Maine, Pat Soliz of McLoud; Glenda Murdock, Myra Wilson and Rachel Murdock, all of Shawnee; and Dennis Murdock of Delia, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward Murdock of Seminole, Jim Murdock of Shawnee and Freddie Murdock of Saint Louis; and her sisters, Carolyn Murdock of McLoud, and Katherine Murdock and Sue Murdock, both of Shawnee.
Services were Saturday evening in McLoud. Burial was Sunday at the Murdock Family Cemetery. The arrangements were under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
Clara M. Moore
Clara M. Moore, 98, of Round Rock, Texas, formerly of Mena, Ark., died Saturday in Austin, Texas.
She was born Sept. 7,1902, in Chandler to the late Charles E. Truax and the late Sudie Ann Stanner Truax.
She was married to the late John C. Moore.
Mrs. Moore was a retired fourth-grade school teacher.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and the curator and treasurer of the historical society and a member of the chamber of commerce. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Mena.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Jack C. Moore, brother, Frank Truax and nephew, Charles Truax.
Survivors include daughter, Mary Lou Plum of Round Rock, Texas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services
will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler with Brother Larry Starbuck officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home in Mena.
