Cecil Ray Peterson
Cecil Ray Peterson, 59, Shawnee, died Tuesday at a local hospital.
He was born Dec. 25, 1940, in Iowa. He was the son of Alfred Peterson and Bula (Gardner) Peterson.
He was a member of the Gordon Cooper Church of God Chapel. He was a resident of Shawnee for the last 15 years. He previously lived in Neosho, Mo.
He was a volunteer for the Golden Rule Home in Shawnee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Lucille (Tremble) Peterson.
Survivors include three brothers and three sisters.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Merrill Smith officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery, under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Marie Stout
Davenport resident Marie Stout died Tuesday in Stroud. She was 87.
She was born April 28, 1913, in Harold, Ky., to Hendrix and Dorus (Messer) Smith. She was a homemaker and longtime resident of Davenport. She was also a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Davenport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one grandson, two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Selva Caruthers of Davenport; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Bargdill of Michigan and Lara Beavers of Walla Walla, Wash.; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Nazarene in Davenport. Burial will be in the Smith-Messer Cemetery in Davenport under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Stroud.
William W. Stone
William W. Stone of Pittsburg, Calif., died Monday in Concord, Calif. He was 82.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. Other information is pending.
Dorothy Passenau
Dorothy Passenau of Oklahoma City died Wednesday at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was 65.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery.

William W. Stone
William W. Stone died Monday in Concord, Calif., at the age of 82.
He was born July 4, 1918, in Herculeon, Mo., to Charles Albert and Julia Mae (Alloway) Stone. He attended Shawnee schools and married Mary Jessie Jones on Nov. 22, 1941, in Shawnee.
He worked as a truck driver for Bechtel and retired March 1, 1978. He served with the U.S. Army as a military policeman during World War II. He received the World War II Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and the American Theater Ribbon.
He was a member of the Teamster Union, Local No. 313, the American Legion and the Assembly of God church.
He was preceded in death by wife,, his parents, son s Albert and Raymond Stone, brothers Ray and Paul Stone and sisters Athel Bennet and Rosa Minyard.
Survivors include his son William Stone Jr. of Concord, Calif.; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and LeVena Jones of Shawnee; one nephew, Charles Minyard of Oklahoma City; and one niece, Beverly Horbach of Concord, Calif.
Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. Chad Brodrick of the Assembly of God Church in Tecumseh will officiate under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
Charles W. Hill
Charles W. Hill of Shawnee died Thursday at his home. He was 75.
Services are pending with Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
William Carlisle Nuckolls
William Carlisle "Bill" Nuckolls of Birmingham, Ala., died Friday. He was 84.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at Crown Heights United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City.

Anthony Keith Aniol
Anthony Keith Aniol died Wednesday in Oklahoma City. He was 1.
He was born Dec. 5, 1998, in Edmond. He was the son of Michael Keith and Seana (Gibson) Aniol.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pat Wood.
Survivors include his parents, Michael and Seana Aniol of Chandler; sister, Heather Aniol of Chandler; grandparents, Tom and Ginger Gibson of Newalla; Jimmy Aniol of Guthrie; Rick Wood of Warwick and other relatives and friends.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel, Chandler with the Rev. Thom Chappelle officiating. Burial will follow at the Star Valley Cemetery, Chandler.
Betty Cecil
Betty "Grandma Betty" Cecil of Shawnee died Thursday at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was 77.
Services are pending with Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.
Marilynn R. Wood
Seminole resident Marilynn R. "Marty" Wood died Friday at her home. She was 77.
Mrs. Wood was born May 20, 1923, in Lafayette, Ind., to Ralph H. and Elsie L. Rogers. She married J.D. Wood on Jan. 20, 1946, in Washington, D.C.
She attended the University of Arkansas and was a homemaker. She had lived in Seminole since 1947.
She served as a Seminole city councilwoman from 1979 to 1986.
She taught Sunday school at First United Methodist Church, was PTA president at Woodrow Wilson Elementary and was a member of the Modern Literature Club and Operation Pride.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. J.D. Wood, of the home; son, John Wood, Tulsa; daughter, Linda Cheatham, Omaha, Neb.; and four grandchildren, Seth and Hunter Cheatham and Josh and Ashley Wood.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ralph H. Rogers Jr.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Karges officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Charles William Hill
Charles William Hill of Shawnee died Thursday at his residence. He was 75.
He was born Jan. 18, 1925, in Quincy, Ill. He was the son of Charles S. and Barbara (Myers) Hill.
Hill, an ordained Baptist minister, was a procurement officer. He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1973 after 30 years of service. He married Aleta Estes on Nov. 3, 1974, in Shawnee. She preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 1999.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Tom Autry, Choctaw; son and daughter-in-law, Charles W. Hill II and Donna Lee Hill, California; two granddaughters, M. Elizabeth Autry, Oklahoma; Samantha Hill, California; three grandsons, Tommy Autry, Oklahoma; Charles Hill III, California; Jonathan Hill, California; one great-grandson, Brooks Autry, Oklahoma.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Liberty Baptist Church with Bill Matthews and Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park, under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
