Erma E. Camp
Erma E. Camp of Tecumseh died Thursday. She was 79.
She was born May 27, 1920, in Trousdale to Arthur and Pearl (Woods) Jones. She attended school at Jumper and Trousdale. In 1939, She married E.B. Camp in Kingman, Ariz. He preceded her in death in 1981.
She was reared in the Trousdale, Wanette, and Tribbey area.
She was a homemaker and a sub postmaster at Trousdale for 15 years.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters and one brother, Melvin Jones.
Surviving are her son, Charles E. Camp of Wanette; granddaughter, Carrie A. Camp of Wanette; great-granddaughter, Taylor Camp of Wanette; sister, Marguerite Canning of Tecumseh; and two brothers, Eldon Jones and Jody Jones, both of Las Vegas, Nev.
Graveside services
will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Wanette Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Adams officiating. There will be viewing at the funeral home until 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
Joe Brown
Lifelong Warwick area resident Joe Brown died Thursday in Oklahoma City. He was 79.
Brown was born Sept. 7, 1919, in Warwick. He married Louvella Bone on Nov. 4, 1939, in Wellston. He was a mechanic and welder.
Survivors include his wife, Louvella Brown, of the home; son, Larry Brown, Haltom City, Texas; daughter, Uyvonna Jo Adams, Chandler; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Abe Brown, Jay; Gary Brown, Nicoma Park; sister, Myrtle Patton, Midwest City; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church of Chandler with the Rev. Doyle Seeley officiating. Burial will follow at the Star Valley Cemetery under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Chandler.
Mary Lucille Farris
Mary Lucille Farris, 84, Konawa, died Thursday in Norman.
She was born March 26, 1915, in Konawa to Stella and Ernest Richards.
She married William Lonzo Farris in April 1933. She was a homemaker and a drug store worker. She was also a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Alice Farris of Noble; Billy and Donna Farris of Mustang; two daughters and son-in-law, Margaret and C.D. Kesler of Shawnee; and Louise Farris of Bakersfield, Calif.; one sister, Thelma Ingram of Oklahoma City; 15 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Mathew Brown O.S.B. officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Rosary will be 3 p.m. Sunday in the Pickard Funeral Chapel.
W.E. Wilkerson
W.E. Bill Wilkerson died Monday in Shawnee. He was 74.
Wilkerson was born in Meeker Sept. 18, 1924, to Warner E. and Muriel A. (Martin) Wilkerson.
He married Marie Guida June 25, 1944, in Oklahoma City.
He was a resident of Meeker and retired from McDonald-Douglas Aircraft after 33 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Meeker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Learline Bowen; one half-brother, Johnnie Ray Markwell; and one brother-in-law, Wayne Kimbley.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Wilkerson, of the home; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmie G. and Linda Wilkerson, Bell Plaines, Kan., Jerry and Judy Wilkerson, Meeker, and Robert C. and Louise Wilkerson, Meeker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine Kimbley, Meeker, Bobbie and Tommy Bowen, Meeker, Leota and Orel Ward, Meeker, and Gilmer Bowen, Meeker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing and visitation is in Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker until 9 a.m. Thursday.
Graveside services
will be 10 a.m. Thursday at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker with the Rev. Don Campo officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Elzora M. (Cudjo) Young
Shawnee resident Elzora M. (Cudjo) Young died Monday at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was 72.
She was born Oct. 22, 1926, in Shawnee to Morris Cudjo and Bessie (Woodley) Cudjo.
She married Emmitt Young Feb. 26, 1947, in Denison, Texas.
She attended Dunbar School of Shawnee. She was a retired state employee and worked for Central Juvenile Treatment Center in Tecumseh for about 18 years.
She was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a church hostess, sang in the church choir and was a member of the Women's Missionary Union.
The oldest of 15 children, she lived in Shawnee all her life.
Survivors include her daughters, Diana Jones, Oklahoma City, Emily Davis, Oklahoma City, Sheryl Young, Shawnee, and Patsy Wood, Del City; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five sisters and six brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband who died 1987; son, Morris Young who died in 1951; and three brothers.
George Hankins
Shawnee resident George Hankins died Saturday at a local nursing home. He was 82.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
Further arrangements will be announced.
Jack Thomas Talley
Shawnee resident Jack Thomas Talley died Friday at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was 50.
He was born June 28, 1949, in Shawnee to George and Leotta Talley.
Talley attended and graduated from Shawnee High School. He was a self-employed carpenter. He served in the U.S. Navy for two years.
Survivors include Greta Taylor, of the home; son, A.J. Talley, Shawnee; parents, George and Leotta Talley, Shawnee; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Chris Talley, Shawnee; nephew, Tommy Talley, Shawnee; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Leroy Kerbo officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Theo Joyce Tripp
Tulsa resident Theo Joyce Tripp died Saturday at a Tulsa nursing center. She was 79.
She was born May 26, 1920, in Asher to Nathaniel and Mary Maner.
She married Richard Alan Tripp on July 3, 1948. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1994.
Mrs. Tripp was raised in St. Louis, Okla., and moved to Michigan with her husband in 1950. She returned to Oklahoma in 1975, and they made their home in Tulsa.
She attended school in St. Louis, Okla. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sisters, Winnie Scott, Tecumseh; JoAnn Cramer, Danville, Ill.; and Frances Calder, Fort Worth, Texas.

will be 1 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery with Bill Matthews officiating and Phil Thompson assisting under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
