BETTY JAMIESON
Betty June Jamieson, 77, of Haysville, Kan., died Feb. 14, 2002 in the Kingman Hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1925 in Los Angeles, the daughter of Carl and Ellen (Hickok) Rosenquist.
She married Austin L. Jamieson on Sept. 2, 1945 in Lynwood, Calif. She worked as a registered nurse.
Survivors include her husband, Austin L. Jamieson, D.O. of Haysville; two sons, Carl M. Jamieson of Haysville and Griffin D. & Rosanna Jamieson of Okmulgee; three daughters, Nadeane Armstrong of Haysville, Ellen Kathleen & James K. McDonald of Kingman and Frances E. Holt of Derby, Kan.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Rosenquist, M.D.
The family will receive friends at Smith Mortuary in Haysville from 6 until 8p.m, Saturday.
Memorial services will be held Feb, 17 at the Three Angels Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Wichita.
RONALD L. THOMAS
Ronald Lee Thomas, 54, of Okmulgee, died Thursday, Feb. 7th at his home. He was born August 9, 1947 in Wewoka, OK to Robert Lee and Katherine (Blanton) Thomas.
He was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include two daughters, DaVonda Thomas and LaTasha Thomas, both of Tulsa; three brothers, Terry Wilson, Morris, John James, Denver, Colo., and James Franklin Jr. Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Remona Brannon, Tulsa, Arnita Calloway, Oakland, Calif. and 1 grandchild along with other relatives and friends.
Cremation is supervised by the House of Winn Funeral Home. A memorial will be conducted Saturday, 1 p.m. in the Precious Memories Chapel. No viewing is planned.
ZOLA EVANS
Zola Evans died Feb. 13, at Eufaula.
Local arrangements were handled by the Shurden Funeral Home. Funeral services will be arranged by the Davis Funeral Home of Cushing.
GRACE TABOR
Grace Lavada Tabor, 97, longtime Morris resident, died Feb.15, 2002 at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 28, 1905 in Moka, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey A. Tabor, son-in-law, Kenneth Whisenhunt and grandson, Larry Whisenhunt.
Survivors include six daughters, Eunice Whisenhunt of Tulsa, Mable Breeding of Okmulgee, Dorothy Tabor of Okmulgee, Betty Workman of Tulsa, JoAnn Ledford and husband Don of Okmulgee and Doris Jolliff and husband Douglas of Liberty-Morris; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb.18 at the Okmulgee Cemetery under direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
Viewing will be Sunday, Feb. 17 from 1 until 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
ROXANNA BURRIS
Roxanna Lewis Burris, 83, longtime resident of Okmulgee, died Feb.6, 2002 in the local hospital.
Arrangements are pending with the House of Winn Funeral Home.
NAOMI MANGUM
Naomi Mangum, 67, longtime Okmulgee resident, died Feb. 7, 2002 in the local hospital.

LILLIE RHODES
Lillie Rhodes, 92, a resident of Okmulgee since 1980 died Tuesday, February 05, 2002 in Okmulgee. She was born in Hughes County, Oklahoma to Mr. & Mrs. Durbin on July 9, 1909.
She worked for many years in Tulsa for TG&Y Stores before retiring. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. Her husband Sherman Rhodes, parents, a son Frankie Rhodes two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Sanders and husband Coy Wayne of Okmulgee and Racine Weringer and husband Dick of Bakersfield, Calif., one sister in law Virginia Durbin, five grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11a.m., Saturday at Westlawn Cemetery at Henryetta with Rev. Lawrence Matlock officiating. Services are under direction of McClendon-Winters Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday from 11a.m., until 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Okmulgee.
CLARA M. POTTS
Clara Maude Potts, 96, of Beggs, died Monday evening, February 4, 2002 in Okmulgee. She was born February 10, 1905 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Dee and Dora (Atkins) Winsor.
She married Ralph Pryor Potts in March 1923. They lived in Hominy for 25 years then moved to Davenport where she lived until 1991 when she moved to Beggs. After her husband's death in 1963, Mrs. Potts managed the gift shop at Howard Johnson in Stroud until l 972. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Beggs, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star since 1933, the Beggs Flower Club, Garden Club and Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Burt and Fred Winsor and a daughter, Betty Fisher in 1990.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Kenneth Buckley of Beggs, a son, Dick Potts of New Castle, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2002 at the First United Methodist Church of Beggs. Reverend David Sanders will officiate. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Davenport Cemetery. Casketbearers will be grandsons, Derald Buckley, Alan Buckley, Randy Fisher, Jim Cochran, Ronnie Wells, Barry Wells and K. C. Culbert.
Friends may visit the funeral home from 10 a.m., until 8 p.m., on Thursday. The family suggests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church in Mrs. Potts' memory.
Services are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
LUCILLE M. SCOTT
Lucille M. Scott, 83, formerly of Beggs died Feb. 5, 2002 in Okmulgee.
She was a retired employee of Lil's Cafe.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Morrison of Bartlesville; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nieces and a nephew.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel with burial in the Beggs Cemetery.
GEORGE WELLS
George Wells, 95, of Edmond and formerly of Henryetta, died Feb. 6, 2002 at Edmond.
Arrangements are pending with Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta.
MARY F. WINTON
Mary Francis Winton, 76, of Glenpool and former resident of
Dewar, died Feb. 5, 2002. She was born June 21, 1925 at Dewar to George Deimel and Josephine (Jarnigan) Deimel.
She graduated from St. Michael's Catholic School in Henryetta. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harold on July 29,1993.
Survivors include three sons, David Winton and wife Alice of Jenks, Michael Winton and wife Doris of Sapulpa and John Winton and wife Evelyn of Tulsa; one brother, William George Deimel and wife Nell of Mavern, Ark., one sister, Kathryn Kilgore and husband Robert of Chickasha; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, Feb. 8 at 11a.m., at St. Michael's Catholic Church at Henryetta with Father Joseph Vadake Chirayath officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery under direction of the Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta.
HATTIE KAUFMAN
Hattie Kaufman of Okmulgee died Thursday, Feb.7, 2002 at McAlester.
Arrangements are pending with McClendon-Winters Funeral Home.
ANN BLISS
Ann Hanrahan Bliss of Tulsa and formerly of Okmulgee died Jan. 27, 2002.
She was retired after more than 40 years serving others in the medical field in Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents, John (Jack) and Berta Hanrahan; her brothers, John Jr., Daniel Patrick, John Joseph and William Edward.
Survivors include her sister, Elizabeth Louise and George Steele of Mendon, Nev.; sister-in-law, Peggy of Mentor, Ohio and daughters, Mary Ann and Dwaine Meskimen of Tyler, Texas, Sharon K. Thoele of Tulsa and JoHannah and Bruce Lawrie of Dallas,Texas.
Rosary is scheduled for 7 p.m., Thursday and services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, both at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel.
Burial will be at 2:30 p.m., Friday at the Okmulgee Cemetery under direction of Moore's Eastlawn.
