William (Colonel Bill) L. Walker
April 22, 1928 - May 15, 2013

uneral services for William “Colonel Bill” L. Walker are scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Tom Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the veterans section of Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4 to 5 in the afternoon. Bill Walker was born April 22, 1928 in Wilson, Ok. to Vernon and Velma Sue (Straughn) Walker. He passed this life on May 15, 2013 in an Oklahoma City hospital. He and Barbara Keeling were married April 1, 1955 in Odessa, TX. Bill was involved in numerous business adventures in Ardmore and the surrounding areas, including everything from the convenient store business to Mancro, his company that painted aircrafts for the government.
Bill dutifully served his country in the U.S. Military, first in the U.S. Navy for two years. Then he came home and enrolled in College at East Central University. He reenlisted in the U.S. Air Force and got his wings and commission in 1954. He then went on to served in the USAF for 34 years most of the time as a Fighter Pilot, then as a Test Pilot. He earned three Silver Stars in Vietnam. The last few years he was in logistics and he retired as a Full Colonel. He received many awards, medals and commendations too numerous to mention.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home. Two sons; Bill Walker and Bob Walker both of Ardmore. Three daughters; Debra Janet of Albuquerque, NM., Laura Markwardt, Ardmore, Susan Horton, Ardmore. Sister; Nancy Walker of Denton, Tx. Eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gloria McFadden.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tim McCullers, Phillip Eggenberg, Grady Burroughs, Omar Humphreys, Lonnie Mays Jr., and Bob Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Burke Mordy and Lonnie Mays Sr.
Memorial may be left to the American Heart Association.

Shirley Maxine Nichols Stoker
November 17, 1938 - May 24, 2013

Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 28th at Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery at 2:00pm with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening at Craddock Funeral Home from 6-8pm.
Shirley Maxine (Nichols) Stoker was born on November 17, 1938 in Enterprise, OK to Vester “Red” and Hazel (Howell) Nichols, she passed from this life on May 24, 2013 in Ardmore at the age of 74. Shirley was a graduate from Lone Grove High School and married Kenneth Stoker on September 6, 1958. Shirley loved flower and vegetable gardening, auctions, garage sales, painting and painting ceramics. Her favorite collectible was carousels.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Stoker of Lone Grove; Daughters, Sherry Martin and husband Johncy of Lone Grove, OK; Teresa Sherling and husband Randy of Denton, TX and Sons, Jeff Stoker of Lone Grove, OK and Tinker Stoker and wife Amber of Helena, AL; Sister, Verna Meak of Lone Grove, OK; Brothers Ted Nichols of Lone Grove, OK and Fred Nichols of Nebo, OK; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers for the service will be Chad Gillispie, Ryan Mitchell, Colby Stoker, Tyler Stoker, Britt Sherling and Mike Garrett.
Graveside Service: Tuesday May 28, 2013, 2:00pm at Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery

John W. Todd
August 22, 1928 - September 20, 2011

Graveside services for John W. Todd are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday in Rose Hill Cemetery with Dr. Glenn Pool and Dr. Alton Fannin officiating.
John was born August 22, 1928 in Ardmore to Arthur Phillip Todd and Mary Opal McSweagan Todd. He passed from this life on September 20, 2011 in a local hospital. He lived in Ardmore all of his life, was a member of the Ardmore High School Class of 1947 and a member of the First Baptist Church. He and the former Virginia Keith were married Oct. 12, 1947 in Gainesville, Texas. John went to work for Noel Datins Mens Wear when he was a senior in High School and went on to become a partner and eventually owner. He worked there in his store for 62 years. John was an avid golfer and loved watching his grandchildren's sporting events.
John is survived by his wife Virginia of the home and their three children, Mohnda Ilniski and her husband Mike of Orlando, Florida, Phillip Todd and his wife LaDonna of Ardmore and Kent Todd of Oklahoma City, Ok. He is also survived by his grandchildren Keith Todd, Jordan Todd, Wiley Todd and Corissa Mashore. Great Granddaughters, Elizabeth, Mariah and Madie. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 7 pm. Memorial can be made to Cross Timbers Hospice in Ardmore.

David Farris
January 10, 1941 - May 22, 2013

Services for David Farris will be Saturday, May 25, 2013 2:00 P.M. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Morgan Ashworth officiating. Interment will be at Greenhill Cemetery in Davis, OK. David was born January 10, 1941 at Healdton, Oklahoma to Elmer D. Farris and Alice Stephenson Farris. He passed from this life on May 22, 2013 in Ardmore at the age of 72. David graduated from Fox High School. He married Sandra Coleman in Ardmore on October 8, 1964. They moved to New Mexico then made their home in Fort Worth, Texas. He retired from Brown Service Company in Fort Worth after many years in the Heating and Air Business. They moved back to Ardmore July 2004. David enjoyed gardening, drinking coffee, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and his little boy and girl chihuahuas. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Sandra; two sisters Dorothy Murdock, Ruby Lang; two brothers Bill Farris and James Rayford Farris. David is survived by his daughter Katie Michelle Robinson and Roy Lee of Ardmore; son Michael David Farris and Sandy of Ft. Worth, TX; two grandchildren Christopher David Farris and David Wayne Hemphill; three step grandchildren James Davenport, Kenny Ravas and Billy Ravas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Schreiber, Craig Tucker, Travis Elmore, Mario Gonzolez, Gary Browning and Travis Rice. Honorary bearer is Bosco Oroco. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Michael W. Davis
Born: April 6, 1948
Death: September 15, 2011

Memorial Services for Michael W. Davis will be 2:00 P.M. at Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Donny Custar officiating.
Michael was born April 6, 1948 at Ardmore to Earl A. Davis and Willa Dean Walters Davis. He passed from this life on September 15, 2011 in Ardmore at the age of 63. Michael was a chef, and loved to cook. He was an avid OU fan, enjoyed sports and adored his pets. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Hibbard in 2005, and his mother Dean Davis. Michael is survived by his father Earl A. Davis of Ardmore; daughter Anne C. "Chris" Ashley of Tulsa; son Zachary Jack Davis of Tulsa, OK; brothers Buddy Davis and wife Jan of Healdton, OK, Bob Davis and wife Luann of Woodward, OK; and 2 grandchildren Sam Ashley and Gus Ashley.

Ronnie P. Martin
July 27, 1938 - September 21, 2011

Memorial Services for Ronnie P. Martin will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Morgan Ashworth officiating. Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
Ronnie was born July 27, 1938 in Shamrock, TX to Joseph McNeil and Lucy Wanetta Marshal Martin. He passed from this life on September 21, 2011 at this home in Lone Grove at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his parents. He and the former Elsie Cope were marred in Altus, OK on August 3, 2002. Ronnie has been a resident of this area since 2000 moving from Duncan, OK. He was retired from Cotton Electric Co-op as an Electrical Engineer, attended the First Baptist Church of Lone Grove, was a member of Lone Grove Senior Citizens and as well as the Lone Grove Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Ronnie served in the Navy from 1955 to1961. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Elsie of the home, daughter Leslie Anderson and her husband Nathan of Perkins, OK their two sons Drew and Dillon Anderson, son James Martin of Walters, OK, his family at the Lone Grove Senior Citizens Center and his special friend Jasper. Honorary pallbearers will be Stan Cope, Travis Phillips, Lavon Smith, Buford Burton, Tooty Hattensty, Phillip Landeros, Jim Rudd, Max Morgan and Jerry Kinard.

Linda Ann Sigler
March 8, 1949 - July 5, 2013

Memorial services for Linda Ann Sigler will be Thursday, July 11, 2013 11:00 A.M. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. She was born in Ardmore on March 8, 1949, the youngest child of H. H. and Ruby Sisk Whitfield. She passed away at her home in Ardmore on July 5, 2013. She was 64 years old. Linda graduated from Ardmore High School in 1967 and attended Southeastern State University in Durant. She moved to Dallas and then Sherman working for a newspaper advertising company before returning to Ardmore, where she met and married Guy (Buddy) Sigler in 1976. They had two sons, Mathew H. and John J. (J.J.) Sigler. Linda went to work for the Daily Ardmoreite in 1984 as a graphic artist and was promoted to graphic supervisor and then to Production Manager. She worked there until 2009 when her job was downsized. She loved the newspaper business, the people she worked with and her community. Even with the new methods of communication, she continued to feel the newspaper should be the heart of the community. Linda was baptized in the First Orthodox Baptist Church in 1961. She was a member there till 1996, then she moved to the First Baptist Church of Ardmore. She is survived by her husband, Guy H. (Buddy) Sigler of the home; Sons, Mathew H., and granddaughter, Abigail Leigh of Oklahoma City, , and John J. (J.J.) Sigler and wife, Neely; grandsons, Braiden Cade and Wyatt Nickolas of Ardmore; Sisters Carol Caroleton and husband Howard A. of Tishomingo, Vi Freeman and husband Neal L. of Ardmore, and Crystal Kixmiller, Ardmore; and sister-in-law Sharon Knowles, Ada; nephews Brian L. Carleton and wife, Donna of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Guy P. Freeman of Oklahoma City, and John Freeman of Ardmore, and nieces Heather Knowles of Oklahoma City, Tina Freeman Brewer of Tulsa, Chelsea Whitfield, Cara Gonsolus, Caden Ingram and Carli Whitfield, all of Ardmore and her devoted pets, Hannah, Sofie, and Charlie. She was preceded in death by a brother, Hilton Whitfield, Jr.. and her parents. Linda was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She loved all children and enjoyed her nieces and nephews, always interested in their activities and accomplishments. She was honest, selfless, a hard worker and a champion for the underdog. Linda was an amazing sister. She will be greatly missed by those of us left behind. She is with her Heavenly Father now as well as her parents and her hero—her brother. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Monson, Mark Creswell, Don Scruggs, Charlie Bowman, Bill Scruggs, Aaron “Peewee” Fields, Ryan McElhiney, and Gary Campbell. Memorials may be made in her name to Cross Timbers Hospice.
