Jim Bob Plott
(September 17, 1928 - August 1, 2011)

Graveside services for Jim Bob Plott will be Wednesday, August 3, 2011 10:00 A.M. at Lone Grove Cemetery with Rev. Elton Vaughn officiating. Jim Bob was born September 17, 1928 at Connerville, Oklahoma to I.V. Plott and Euna Dishman Plott. He past from this life on August 1, 2011 in his home at the age of 82. He and Jackqueline Sissney were married February 14, 1956 at Lone Grove. He loved to fish and enjoyed working on lawn mowers and was retired from the oil field. He is survived by his wife Jackqueline of the home; sons Terry Plott and wife Paula of Ardmore, Robert Plott and wife Pamela of Wilson, John Plott of Lone Grove; daughter Norma Jean Morrison of Kingfisher, OK; brothers Joe Dody and wife Phyllis of Stillwater, OK, Jerry Dody and wife Judy of Stillwater, OK; sister Edith Proudman of California; 4 grandchildren Danny and Cathrin of Wilson, Robin of Durant, Jessica from Wilson; many great grandchildren and numerous friends. Pallbearers will be Bill Baker, Brad Baker, Brady Baker, Monty Jones, Bill Grover, and Wesley Wilford.

Barbara J. Wilson
(October 2, 1933 - August 16, 2011)

Graveside services for Barbara J. Wilson will be Friday, August 19, 2011 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Chaplain Stanley Joseph officiating. Barbara was born October 2, 1933 at Sentinel, Oklahoma to John Pleasant Stayton and Gladys S. Lady Stayton. She passed from this life on August 16, 2011 in Ardmore at the age of 77. She and William A. Wilson were married in Ardmore on June 10, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was also preceded by her parents, two brothers Larry and Lendell Stayton and her son in law Don E. Nickell. Barbara lived in this area most of her life but spent several years in the Lake Eufaula area. She was a bank teller supervisor, and a Methodist. She enjoyed reading, loved her friends and family. Barbara was a good listener with a big heart. She was our angel on earth, now she is our angel in heaven. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her daughter Terri Nickell of Ardmore; son Michael Wilson of Ardmore; brother Joe H. Stayton of Arlinton, Texas; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Carl Chenoweth
(August 29, 1931 - May 25, 2011)

Graveside services will be Saturday, May 28, 2011 10:00 A.M. at the Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Harris officiating.

Margaret "Peggy" Elizabeth McCulloh
(August 22, 1922 - June 4, 2011)

A funeral mass for Margaret Elizabeth “Peggy” McCulloh, 88, is scheduled for 10am, Friday, June 10, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ardmore, with Father Tom Dowdell and Father Paul Gallatin officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held at 7pm to 8pm, Thursday, at Craddock Funeral Home. Peggy was born August 22, 1922, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Bernard William Flucke and Agnes Heilman Flucke. She died on June 04, 2011, in a local nursing facility. Peggy and W.L. “Mac” McCulloh moved to Ardmore in 1949 and purchased the Oldsmobile-Cadillac dealership, re-named McCulloh Motor Company, which they operated together until December 1999. Peggy was a Cub Scout den mother, Past President of the YWCA Y’s Wives, board member of the Ardmore Day Nursery and an enthusiastic volunteer with her husband for CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocate. She was a dedicated member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she was a Past President of St. Mary Women’s Club and a member of The Corinthians Adult Sunday School Class. She is survived by two sons; Michael L. McCulloh and his wife, Teri, of Lake Oswego, Oregon, and Dr. Thomas W. McCulloh and his wife, Laurel, of Ardmore, one sister, Martha Hare of Overland Park, Kansas and one brother, Bernard W. Flucke, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Dr. Emily McCulloh Hollingsworth, Jupiter, Florida, Dr. Stephen Patrick McCulloh, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Megan McCulloh Ownbey, Ardmore, Michael Ryan McCulloh, Tulsa, William Ross McCulloh, Altus and Caroline Foster, Ardmore. She is also survived by two great grandchildren; Anna Katherine Ownbey, Ardmore and Angelina Michelle McCulloh, Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Kyle Thomas McCulloh and a sister, Jeanne Rininsland of Dallas, TX. Serving as pall bearers are Ryan McCulloh, Ross McCulloh, Dr. Stephen McCulloh, Scott Ownbey and Chris Ridley, Ardmore and Bob Hare, Mission, Kansas. Honorary pall bearers are Ken Hare, Shawnee, Kansas and Bernard W. Flucke III, Kansas City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Good Shepard Medical and Dental Clinic, Ardmore.

Delbert Wayne McGuire
(July 19, 1933 - June 2, 2011)

Funeral services for Delbert Wayne McGuire are scheduled for Monday at 10:00 am in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jessica Moffatt Seay officiating. Interment will follow in Knowles Cemetery in Crescent, OK. Delbert was born July 19, 1933 in Crescent, Ok. to Stanley and Velma Chadduck McGuire. He passed this life on June 2, 2011 in a Norman Hospital. He and the former Twyla Moran McGuire were married December 9, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They moved to Ardmore in 1959. Delbert served in the Army, 101st Airborne from 1956 to 1962. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Delbert owned Mac’s Minit Mart on 12th and Commerce until 1973. Delbert retired from Uniroyal in 1995 and was employed by Diagnostic Laboratories of Oklahoma until his passing. He also was a former Lone Grove School Board member and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife Twyla, daughters Kathy and the late Joe Howell Jr. of Ardmore, Sandra and Denny Alexander of Ardmore, Debra and David Herrmann of Southlake, TX, one son, Sam McGuire and his wife Debra of Battle Creek, Mi. He is also survived by daughter Jeanne and Gary Gilson of Sakhalin, Russia. He is also survived by a sister Maurine Funkhouser of Ardmore, and a brother Glen McGuire and his wife Gale of Pattonsburg, Mo.. There are 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Robert, and a sister Betty Lou Wuerflein. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be left to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation at 825 NE 13th OKC 73104-5097 or the charity or your choice.

Marion "Bo" Fore
(May 11, 1927 - May 23, 2011)

Funeral Services for Marion “Bo” Fore are scheduled for Thursday at 10:00 am in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Ben Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. A visitation is will be held Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 to 6:30. Bo was born May 11, 1927 in Healdton, Ok. to Dewey C. Fore, Sr. and the former Jeptha Elizabeth (Dutch) Hefley. He passed this life on May 23, 2011 in an Oklahoma City Hospital. He and Huberta J. Rose were married May 8, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Tx. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. Bo was retired from Mobil Oil Co. where he worked as a Gas Development Representative and was a member of the McLish Ave. Church of Christ. Bo set the example for a respected and loved Christian husband, brother, uncle, neighbor, co-worker and friend. He is survived by his wife, Huberta of the home and a Brother Dewey C. Fore and his wife Cheri of Olathe, Kansas, two sisters, Anna Maude Schmidt and her husband Bill of Tulsa, Ok., and Margret Louise Harris and her husband Keith of Del Rio, Tx. Nieces and Nephews, Beth Estes, Greg Schmidt, Greta Campbell, Chris Schmidt, Vickie Wheeler, Ronnie Harris, Beau Fore and Amanda Fore. He is also survived by 14 Great and 10 Great Great Nieces and Nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Byrd, Eric Conway, Mike Dunn, Todd Hicks, James Meece and Kenneth Parker.

Richard Thomas Bishop
(July 24, 1950 - June 3, 2011)

Funeral services for Richard Thomas Bishop will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at the Calvary United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Alan Dorries officiating. Interment will follow to Woodford Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
Richard was born July 24, 1950 in Philadelphia, MS to Henry Davis and Elsie Richards Bishop. He passed from this life on June 3, 2011 at his residence at the age of 60. He was preceded in death by his father Davis Bishop, mother Elsie Russell, sister Dorothy Johnson and brothers James and Edward Bishop.
Richard married Gwenda D. Genn in Jackson, MS on April 24, 1970. He was an electrician for Quality Electric, a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church. Richard loved to farm, fish and hunt but most of all he loved his family including his church family.
Survivors include his wife Gwenda Bishop of the home, children David Bishop and wife Sena of Mannsville, OK, Deana Littleton of Springer, Lydia Keck and husband Bob of Springer, grandchildren Andrew Williamson, ReeAnna, Kelsie and Konner Engle, Johnathon and Jameson Cooper, Kaleb and Emma Bishop, PJ Willingham, and Silas Brower, brothers Henry and Nena Bishop, Mike Bishop of Clinton, MS and Bryan Russell of Philadelphia, MS, sisters Ruby Townsend of Philadelphia, MS and Gertrude Thompson of Pearl, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Bishop, Andrew Williamson, Bradley Potter, Greg Matchen, Jarred Swink, Lance Hackersmith, Shane Dorries and Roddie Steele. Honorary will be Rusty Logan and Roy Turner.
A family visitation will be held 2-3 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Avis Marie Biggerstaff
(July 3, 1928 - May 27, 2011)

On July 3, 1928, Avis Marie Erickstad was born to Samuel Erickstad and Charlotte Garske, in Garske, North Dakota. She graduated from high School as the valedictorian, attending Valley State Teachers College, receiving her degree at Minnesota’s Concordia College. She accepted teaching offers in Glendive, Montana and later Billings, Montana enjoying accolades from both school systems. Avis also found joy from her work with the handicapped. She and her husband met in Billings and were wed in the University Park Methodist Church of Denver, Colorado. The couple traveled extensively across the U.S., Europe, Canada, as well as the islands. Wherever she went, her sense of grace and quiet charm infected all who met her and she found only the good in them. She contributed many years to her favorite charity, St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Avis joined our Lord Jesus Christ on May 27, 2011. Survivors include her husband Wm. E.; a daughter, Carol of Dallas, Texas; a son Eric, his wife Carol and two grandsons, Ehren and Carson of Parker, Colorado; and two sisters, Lois Jacobsen of Ardmore and Vi Stedman of Seattle, Washington. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Graveside services will be conducted at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers please donate to the cancer fund.
