LONE GROVE -- Services for David Roy Fuller, 59, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Steve Biggerstaff and the Rev. Brad Clifton officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
Born on July 14, 1945, in Walters, Okla., to John Roy Fuller and Pearl Orene McSmith, he died on Nov. 14, 2004, at his residence.
Married to Zelda McGahn on Dec. 29, 1969, in Lone Grove, he worked as a road foreman for Carter County District 3 and was a member and trustee at the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church. David previously served on the Lone Grove City Council and planning and zoning board.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Darla Cross, and her husband, John, Lone Grove; a sister, Dee Bridges and her husband, Doyle, Oklahoma City; and three grandchildren, Emilee, Wesley and Katie Cross.
Bearers will be Terry Clifton, Doyle Bridges, Bill George, James Gunter, Monte Willingham and Darrell Bridges. Honorary bearers are Dale Ott and Carter County District 3 employees.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Wilma Caldwell

Wilma Throneberry Caldwell, of Ardmore, a very dear and loved lady, passed from our world on Oct. 27, 2004, to go and meet her Savior. There will be no words to express how much she will be missed by her family and friends.
Wilma was born on Sept. 1, 1928, in Seminole, Okla. Her parents were Mike and Florence Baylor. Wilma's brother, Dick Baylor, and sister, Joyce Arista, reside in Denison, Texas. Wilma's younger brother, Runt, died suddenly in a car accident at Las Vegas at the age of 21.
Wilma graduated from Healdton High School in 1947, and always looked forward to attending the Healdton alumni.
She married Orbin Throneberry in 1947. Orbin preceded Wilma in death.
Wilma married Ray Caldwell in 1972. Ray was a very special part of her, her children and grandchildren's lives for the past 32 years. He was a wonderful "Papa."
Wilma lived in Healdton until 1970 when she moved to Ardmore. She and her husband, Ray, worked as drywall finishers until she began her real estate career 25 years ago. She also worked at the election board and was a member of the Grand Alanon Group, the National Association of Realtors, the Southern Oklahoma Board of Realtors, and did volunteer work at Maranatha Freewill Baptist Church, in the nursery, baking pies for newcomers, and she volunteered for the Loaves and Fishes program.
Wilma raised a very close knit family. She had three children, Jody Denney Bennett and son-in-law Robert Bennett, Ardmore, Vicki Sheets and husband Tony Sheets, Van Buren, Ark., Dale Throneberry and very special friend, Dawna Hutchins, Ardmore. Wilma had six grandsons, Dwain, Darren and Dusty McNeill, Toby and Kevin Clifton, and Justin Throneberry, who were the light of her life, along with her 10 great-grandchildren who have individually provided lots of beautiful memories for Wilma also.
Bearers will be Wilma's grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 Thursday at Craddock Funeral Home.

Hazel Novella Nichols, of Ardmore, Oklahoma was born on October 12, 1916 in Enterprise, Oklahoma to Blaine & Leila Pearl Meek Howell. She passed from this life on October 18, 2004 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years and 6 days.
Mrs. Nichols has been a resident of this area all of her life. She married Vester “Red” Nichols on December 23, 1937 in Enterprise, Oklahoma. Mrs. Nichols was a member of the Lone Grove Chapter #484 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a graduate of Lone Grove High School and later worked there as a cook for many years. She was a member of the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Lone Grove.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by: 2 Daughters: Shirley Stoker & Verna Meek of Lone Grove; 2 Sons: Ted Nichols of Lone Grove & Fred Nichols of Nebo, OK; Sister: Velma Howard of Ft. Worth, TX; 3 Brothers: Boyd Howell of Ardmore, Dale Howell of Lone Grove & Royce Howell; 10 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; Sister: Adalie Tucker; 5 Brothers: Cecil, Ray, Troy, Wayne & Lamar Howell.
Simon D. Gooden, Sr.

Services for Simon D. Gooden Sr., 87, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at McLish Avenue Church of Christ with Ben Bailey and Bro. John Skinner officiating. Interment will be at Dunbar Cemetery under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
He was born on April 1, 1917, in Burneyville, Okla., to Steve and Zadie Brown Gooden.
Simon attended school at Burneyville. He moved to Ardmore at an early age and worked at several small businesses until he went to work for Solomon's Bakery. He worked there for 41 years.
He was baptized in 1967 at East Main Church of Christ where he served as song leader and assistant minister for many years. He was a faithful member until his health began to fail. He was hospitalized and later moved into Elmbrook Nursing Center. He moved back home on Jan. 7, 2005, until his health worsened. He departed this life on Feb. 5, 2005.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Helen Agers and Virginia Owens, whom he married in Gainesville, Texas; his parents; five brothers, Willie, Clayton, Jule, Travis and Hulen; a daughter, Helen Washington; grandson, Anthony "Toney, " and granddaughter, Jada.
Survivors include four daughters, Loretha Gordon, Hulean Hoskins and Joyce Allen, all of Ardmore, and Sammie Johnson, Tulsa; a son, Simon David Gooden Jr., Edmond; three brothers, Sammy Sanders, El Paso, Texas, Edward Gooden, Texarkana, Texas, Olin Gooden, San Diego; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; two nieces, Judy and Diana; many great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Bearers will be grandsons, Stewart Gordon, Kenneth Gooden, Billy Washington, Michael Carr, Terry Carr and Allen Gordon.

Born on Oct. 31, 1913, in Petersburg, Okla., to James Grant and Beulah Hobson Eakin, he died on Feb. 6, 2005, at a local health care facility.
Married to Juanita Lucille Guy on Nov. 22, 1931, in Marietta, he lived in Hemet, Calif., before moving to this area in 1989. He was a Baptist and retired drilling engineer. He was preceded in death by his wife; a daughter, Marilyn Elizabeth Eakin; a great-granddaughter, Brenda Hall, and his parents.
Survivors include a brother, William Glen Eakin and wife, Anna M., Ardmore; three granddaughters, Kathy Livingston, California, Vicki Vail, Santa Anna, Calif., Brenda Hall, Virginia; two grandsons, Jeffrey Lutz, Fullerton, Calif., and Kim Hughes, Virginia; three great-granddaughters, two great-grandsons, a niece, two nephews and two cousins.
Dorothy "Little Dottie" Hooper

Services for Dorothy "Little Dottie" Hooper, 73, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Craddock Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born Jan. 19, 1932, in Gene Autry to Rubin and Innis Ethel Royal Wells she died Feb. 4, 2005, at a local nursing facility. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Robert, Don and Jack Wells, and one sister, Fern Richards.
A lifelong resident of the area, she owned and operated the Cloverleaf Club at Ardmore for 30 years. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include sons, Dennis Hooper, Steve Hooper, Arlington, Texas; sisters, Berdine Kluver, Ardmore, and Lois Stagner, Oklahoma City; brothers, Doug Wells and Bruce Wells, Ardmore; and five grandchildren.
Bearers are Dennis Hooper, Steve Hooper, Tyler Hooper, Roger Stagner, Mike Black and Steve Smith.

Services for Maxine Toone Carter, 96, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Craddock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Colaw officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born Aug. 9, 1908, in Ravia to Sam A. and Della Coffey Toone, she died Jan. 19, 2005, at a local health care facility. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Boyce Toone, and two sisters, Marie Toone Paschall and Lucille Toone Wilkinson.
Maxine graduated from Ravia High School and attended Murray State College in Tishomingo. After college, she taught school for a few years at Fox and Ravia. Maxine had a love of people and animals. She was an ardent admirer of horses and she showed throughout the South-west Circuit her beloved five-gaited champion Dornick King, a beautiful chestnut, which she pampered until his death.
Maxine was an associate editor of Saddle and Bridle National Horse Magazine for many years, traveling all over the United States and residing in Dallas until she retired to Ardmore. She had a rewarding and fulfilling career as a reporter and columnist for most of her life and was well-known in the American Saddle Bred Horse World.
She and Lloyd S. Carter, now deceased, were married in Dallas in 1945. She had a love for children and adopted Lucy Ann Coffey, at age 12, in 1951, her only child. She will lovingly be remembered by her family as "Chaos, " a well-earned loving nickname given to her later in life.
Survivors include her daughter, Lucy Ann Blankenship, Ardmore; grandson, Stephen William Blankenship and his wife, Sharie, Ardmore; and their children, Lauren Ruth Blankenship, Parker William Blankenship, Ardmore; granddaughter, Julie Kaye Michelle Blankenship Mazur, Dallas, and her children, Marc Maximillian Mazur and Sasha Michelle Mazur, Dallas; cousins, Jerry Coffey, Roswell, Ga., Jack Coffey, Fairfield, Penn.; nephew, Ronald T. Paschall and his wife, Kiki, Dallas; nieces, Sylvia Paschall Lisser and her husband, Gordon, Bow, Wash., Kaye Kiespert Cypert and her husband, Jack, Snyder, Texas, Shirley McCrerry and her husband, Jimmy, Corpus Christi, Texas; great nieces, Cathey Cypert Clark and her husband, John, and their children Mallory and Madison, Sugarland, Texas; great nephew, Mark Cypert and his wife, Becky, Snyder, Texas; and their children Preston and Bryce.
