Wesley Roscoe Alexander
Wilson – Private Memorial Services for Mr. Wesley “Wes” Roscoe Alexander, 61, of Bacliff, TX are scheduled with Alexander Funeral Home & Crematory of Wilson.
Wes was born October 21, 1953 at Ardmore to the late Mr. Lee Clinton Alexander and Mrs. Lois Estell (Kincheloe) Alexander.
He passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Texas City, TX.
Wes was raised in Wilson graduating from Wilson High School in 1971.
He was employed for Liberty Tower & Flare out of Bacliff, TX for many years as a Rigger and later as a steeple jack.
Wes worked for as long as his health allowed, always residing at Bacliff, TX.
He was a veteran of the Oklahoma National Guard serving honorably for four years.
Wes had an extensive collection of baseball cards and enjoyed hunting.
He always was a very kind and compassionate man with a giving heart and constantly had a positive outlook on life.
Wes reaffirmed his faith in Christ prior to his passing.
Preceding him in death were his Parents, Clint and Lois Alexander and brother, Clinton Alexander.
Survivors include his four loving sisters, Pat Brawley and husband Ray, Linda Hunt and husband Marshall, all of Lone Grove, Shirley Coble and husband David of Randleman, N.C. and Virginia Southerland of Wilson; brother, A.L. Alexander and wife Pam of Livingston, TX; best friend, David Cannon and wife Judy of Davis; very special nieces and nephews, Gary, Margie, Eric, Robin, Nancy, Charlie, Joe, Clint, Tommy, Jason, Mike, Cheryl, Raymond, Jeff, Amy, Andy, Amanda, Julie and Maggie; numerous other relatives and friends.
Honorary bearers are Co-Workers of Liberty Tower.
Ruby Lee Davis
Graveside services for Ruby Lee Davis, 88, Littlefield, Texas, were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur with with Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating.
Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with Brownfield Funeral Home, Brownfield, Texas in charge of arrangements.
Born October 29, 1918 in Sulphur she died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006 in Littlefield, Texas.
After high school graduation, she received a degree from Murray State College.
She was a teacher for a short period of time.
She married Willard Davis on December 23, 1939 in Davis.
The couple lived in Oklahoma City, Anaheim, Calif. and Hurst, Texas before moving to Brownfield, Texas in 1999.
She was one of the first employees at Disneyland in California.
She worked there for 25 years.
A brother, Donald Skelton and a sister, Nellie Parmer preceded her in death.
Survivors include one sister, Maxine (Cliff) Parker, Brownfield, Texas; one niece, Nelda Blackwell, Littlefield, Texas and a nephew, Burl Pittman, Canadian, Texas.
Thomas Ralph Humphries
Services for Thomas Ralph Humphries, 72, Sulphur, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 13 at the Krien Funeral Chapel in Davis with Rev. Bill Freeman officiating.
Krien Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Born September 28, 1934 in Wilmington, Ark., to Gordon Ambrose and Mary Alice (Ward) Humphries, he died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006 at his home in Sulphur.
He grew up in Union County, Ark., and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1957.
After his honorable discharge, he made his home in Houston, Texas until coming to Oklahoma in 1979.
He and Carolyn Joyce Miller were married on July 4, 1980 in Durant.
The couple moved to Sulphur in 1990.
He was a drug and alcohol abuse counselor for Recovery Way in Ardmore and a therapeutic foster parent.
He was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship of Ardmore.
He enjoyed fishing, all sports, especially football.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn, of the home; five daughters, Leslie Humphries, Jennifer Reynolds and Elizabeth Swanson, all of Houston, Texas and Kimberly Rice, Fort Worth, Texas and Stacy Doughty, Ardmore; five grandchildren, Justin and Ethan Doughty, both of Ardmore, Meghan Grigar, Ashley Swanson and Samantha Swanson, all of Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his daughter's mother, Shirley Humphries; one daughter, Erin Humphries; his parents; two brothers, James Daniel and Maxwell Collin Humphries and one sister, Ollie Rae Humphries.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Rice, Paul Doughty, Steve Swanson, Alan Reynolds, Jeff Cooner, Clay Miller, C. J. Rimer, Denton Rimer and Denise Achrendt.
Flora Jean Neugebauer Wendling
Funeral service Flora Jean Neugebauer Wendling, age 77, of Davis, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Brad Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in th Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.
Mrs. Wendling passed away on Monday morning, December 11, 2006 in Arbuckle Hospital in Sulphur.
Flora Jean Rector Neugebauer Wendling was born on July 5, 1929 in Amherst, Texas to Calvin Estes and Charity May (Wilson) Rector.
She attended Frederick Public Schools.
On October 26, 1946, she was united in marriage to Floyd Neugebauer in Frederick, Oklahoma.
He preceded her in death on March 5, 2002.
She later married Donald Clark Wendling on July 5, 2003 in Davis, Oklahoma.
She was a homemaker and a Seventh Day Adventist.
She is survived by her husband Donald of the home; one son: Dennis Neugebauer & his wife Merrle of Waurika; one step son: Lawrence Wendling & his wife Judy of Colorado; one daughter: Beverly Metz and her husband Robert of Davis; two step-daughters: Janet Hall and her husband Tim of Italy and Crystal Dorrance and her husband Mark of Colorado; five grandchildren: Lora Enox & her husband Donald of Sulphur, Kara Harrison & her husband Travis of Roff, Oklahoma, Marissa Metz of Davis, and Josh Simon & his wife Jennifer and Tyler Simon all of Waurika; four great-grandchildren: Dakota and Austin Enox, Lucas Harrison and Jazmon Simon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; four brothers: Walter, Donald, Ernest & Elton Rector; and two sisters: Clara Grimes and Oleta Rector.
Bonnie Helen Hilliard
Services for Bonnie Helen Hilliard, 78, Sulphur, were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Dec. 11 at the Clagg Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating.
Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Born October 10, 1928 in Sulphur to Allie (Crawford) and Memphis Stanford, she died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006 at Ardmore.
She married Roy Thomas Hilliard at Gainesville, Texas on April 16, 1947.
She was a homemaker and member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She spent most of her life in Sulphur.
Surviving are a daughter, Ellen Sanders, Half Moon Bay, Calif.; a son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Rita Hilliard, The Colony, Texas; one brother, Wayne "Buddy" Stanford, Erick; one sister, Aleda Hale, Linden, Calif; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Ann Marie Frutiger
Services for Ann Marie Frutiger, 74, Sulphur, were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, Feb. 26 at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Russell Hewes officiating.
Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with Krien Funeral Home of Sulphur in charge of arrangements.
Born October 10, 1932 in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., to William and Loretta (Peters) Hynes, she died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 in Ardmore.
She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Long Beach, Calif. She and Robert "Bob" Carlson Frutiger were married on March 25, 1984.
They moved to Sulphur on April 19, 1991.
She won numerous awards for her volunteer work at the Sulphur Chamber of Commerce and Sulphur Days events.
She was an active member of the Sulphur Senior Citizens Center, the Red Hat Ladies and is enjoyed working in ceramics.
She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sulphur.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, William, Frank and Charles Hynes.
Surviving are her husband, Robert "Bob" Frutiger; four sons, William Pitts, Conway, Ark., Richard Pitts and wife, Dee, Sulphur, Stephen Pitts and wife, Denise, Conway, Ark. and Kenneth Pitts and wife, Ivy, Torrance, Calif.; one daughter, Theresa Midkiff and husband, Jim, Adamsville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Rachel, Timmy, Jason, Jessica, James, Christopher, Brian, Jacob, Brent and Charles and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were William Pitts, Richard Pitts, Stephen Pitts, Kenneth Pitts, Jessica Pitts and Jason Pitts.
