Services for Donald Dewayne Bruster, 39, Mill Creek were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 15 at the Pentecostal Church in Mill Creek with Bro. Darryl Patrick officiating.
Interment was in Troy Cemetery with Krien Funeral Home, Sulphur, in charge of arrangements.
Born in Sulphur April 11, 1967 to Johnny Wayne Bruster and Joyce (Hudson) Beaver, he died Thursday, May 11, 2006 in Mill Creek.
A crane operator at Autumn Rose Quarry for 13 years, he grew up in Sulphur, graduating from Sulphur High School in 1986.
He married Gina Rene Vaughan in 1988 and the couple made their home in Mill Creek.
He enjoyed gardening and woodworking and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Gina, of the home; his mother, Joyce Beaver, Sulphur; a stepfather, Guy Beaver and wife, Gloria, Sulphur; his father, Johnny and wife, Jean, Kilgore, Texas; one daughter, Shandalyn Bruster, of the home; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Travis and Azelle Vaughan; five brothers, Phillip Arnold and wife, Nissa, Mill Creek, Matt Frost and wife, Kassi, Jason Anderson and Tracy Sanders and wife, Angela, all of Sulphur and Travis Bruster and wife, Lisa, Lubbock, Texas; one stepbrother, Robert Bruster and wife Anna, Honduras, South America; two sisters, Kathy Bruster and Leanne Blocker and husband, Albert, all of Sulphur; two nieces, Stacy Bruster and Hannah Arnold and one nephew, Blake Bruster.
He was preceded in death grandmother and grandfather, Lois Hudson and William Hudson.
Pallbearers were Alan Hearrell, Shannon Wright, Gary Samis, Tom Haney, Marci Roman, Rick Hudson and Bob Haney.
Honorary bearers were Kendal Jertel, Steve Castleberry and Tony Lee.
Maude Bell Cruse
Funeral services for Maude Bell Cruse, 83, Sulphur were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13 at the Bethany Baptist Church in Atoka with Rev. James Densman officiating.
Interment was in Bethany Cemetery, Atoka with Krien Funeral Home of Sulphur in charge of arrangements.
Born May 27, 1922 in Stratford to Clark and Mary (John) Meely, she died Wednesday, May 10, 2006 in Sulphur.
She grew up in the Sulphur area, married and then moved to Oklahoma City where she raised her family.
In 1981, her husband retired and the couple moved to Atoka.
In the '90's, she returned to Sulphur to be near her daughter and remained here until her death.
Surviving are two sons, Carl Cruse and friend, Cheryl Blind, Oklahoma City and Timmy Cruse and wife, Vicki, Atoka; one stepson, Bobby Cruse, Edmond; two daughters, Donna Smith and husband, Junior, Sulphur and Lavella Allison and husband, Emmett, Blanchard; one stepdaughter, Gladys Cruse, Edmond; one sister, Beatrice Byars, Oklahoma City and 35 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry; two sons, John R. Wallace and Frank H. Cruse; four brothers and four sisters.
Pallbearers were Charles Burton, Nathan Smith, Calvin Easley, Bryan Berryhill, George Mouse, Chris Burton and Jack LaFontain.
Honorary bearers were Jeremy Cruse, Jaron Cruse, Greg Burton, Van Shaw Cruse and Everett Burton.
Arlene Helm
Services for Arlene Helm, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, at Craddock Memorial Chapel with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Born Aug. 24, 1916, in LeFlore County, Okla., to Nathan and Jessie Summers Coontz, she died Sept. 21, 2003, in Bedford, Texas.
Married to Grady Helm in 1933, in Clayton, Okla., she had been a resident of Ardmore since 1943, and was a retired seamstress. She was a member of First Baptist Church and president of Faith Sunday School Class. She was also a member of Young at Hearts Group.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979, five brothers, three sisters and her second husband, John Radig, in 1985. They were married in 1982.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Vise, Bedford; a son, Rodger Helm, Ardmore; two sisters, Bonnie Storms, McAlester, and Vera Moregado, California; four grandchildren, Lana Vick, Rusty Adams, Lamesa Nieman and Kristen Dodd; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services for Sulphur resident Loyed Franks, 91, are pending with Clagg Funeral Home.
Mr. Franks died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 in the Arbuckle Memorial Hospital.
Anna Bell Neal
Services for Anna Bell Neal, 98, Sulphur, were held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 16 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Malphrus and Rev. Terry Neal officiating.
Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Born July 19, 1907 in Mena, Ark., to Joe Elliston and Lou Newman Elliston, she died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 in Sulphur.
She married Harce N. Neal on February 10, 1924 in Mill Creek.
He preceded her in death on November 6, 1973.
She spent her early years in Mena, Ark and Muse, Oklahoma, moving in 1916 by train to Mineral Wells, Texas.
In December, 1918 the family moved by covered wagon to the Horseshoe Ranch, northeast of Sulphur.
It took a week to make the trip and the family crossed the Red River by ferry.
In 1923 they moved to the Fletcher community and in the spring of 1925 they moved to a Mill Creek area farm, living in a log cabin belonging to Harce's father.
In 1930 the family moved to the Buckhorn area southeast of Sulphur where they raised cattle and operated a dairy.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Home Demonstration Club.
She loved to sew and quilt.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Gene and Anita Neal, Sulphur; a daughter, Ludene West, Midwest City; five grandchildren, Ronnie West, Donna Miller, Debbie Watkins, Lanny Neal and Terry Neal; 16 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Sam Elliston, Oscar Elliston and Lewis Elliston; four sisters, Birtie Smith, Genola Abbott, Winnona Weddie and Verna Shaffer.
Pallbearers were Caleb Neal, Marcus Neal, Matthew Neal, Bryan Miller, Joe Miller, Kyle Watkins, Justin Breeden and Danny Breeden.
Sheila Lorrain Vineyard
Services for Sheila Lorrain Vineyard, 41, Davis, were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 16 at the First Baptist Church of Dougherty with Pastor Williard McCartney Jr. officiating.
Interment was in Dougherty Cemetery with Krien Funeral Home of Davis in charge of arrangements.
Born February 20, 1965 in Torrance, Calif., to Virgil Schultz and Loretta Maxine (Jenkins) Schultz Mattingley, she died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 in Ardmore.
She grew up in Enid and Cushing, graduating from high school in Cushing.
She enjoyed antique shopping, watching movies, but her greatest joy was in raising her children.
She was a member of the Midway Hill Baptist Church where she was baptized last February 7.
Surviving are her mother, Maxine Mattingley; two sons, Christopher Glenn Blankenship, of the home and Justin Vineyard, who is in the U.S. Marines stationed in California; three daughters, Coywetta Necole Blankenship, Ardmore, Tristan Vineyard, Dougherty and Chelsea Vineyard, Davis; two brothers, Bobby Burris and wife, Stacy, Mustang and Dan Branscum, Cushing; two sisters, Beverly Duncan and husband, Mike, Stillwater and Sabrina Taylor and husband, Steven, Davis; five grandchildren; her former husband and close friend throughout her life, Ben Vineyard; four special friends, Jackie Doyle, Cushing, Jill Weldon, Dougherty, Cynthia Mowrey, Hennepin and Susan of Davis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Schultz and the father who raised her, Ed Mattingley.
Pallbearers were Roger Weldon, Walter Vineyard, Chris White, Douglas Akers, Bobby Brooks and Terry Hornsberger.
Ray Brooks served as an honorary bearer.
Robert "Rob" Alan McDaniel

Born March 8, 1967 in Roswell, N. M. to Glen McDaniel and Sandra (Wilson) Webb, he died Saturday, June 17, 2006 in Milton, Fla.
Rob grew up living most of his life in Texas.
He graduated from LaVernia, Texas High School and went on to complete two years of college at Texas A & M.
His employment years included sales, carpentry and construction.
He loved watching little league games, meeting people and making friends.
His stepdaughter, Arianna, often shared with others how wonderful he was as a father.
He is survived by his wife, Sydonia, of the home; two sons, Ian and Cole, both of the home; one daughter, Arianna, of the home; his father and mother, Glen McDaniel, Carrollton, Texas and Sandra Webb, Davis; one brother, Brian and wife, Dee, Davis and his grandmother, Pearlene Wilson, also of Davis.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Eula McDaniel, Hobbs, N. M. and Walter Wilson, Wilson, Okla.
