Lydia J. Teehee
JAY, Okla. — Lydia Jean Teehee, 66, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ribbon Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay.
Melvin H. Landers
MIAMI, Okla. — Melvin H. Landers, 73, an attorney, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2003.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church, Miami.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home.
Robert P. Northcutt
GROVE, Okla. — Robert (Bob) Paul Northcutt, 76, an insurance salesman, passed away Friday, April 4, 2003.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Calgary Cemetery, Wichita, Kan.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
Buddy Ellison
GROVE, Okla. _ Services for Buddy Melvin Ellison, 73, 1102 Dogwood Drive, who died Thursday, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Grove First United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Nikicq Blackford will officiate.
Burial will be in GAR Cemetery, Miami.
Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Northeast Oklahoma Veterans Funeral Detail.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
Lucinda Fletcher
AFTON, Okla. _ Lucinda Alice Fletcher, 89, Tulsa, formerly of Afton, died at 7:35 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, after an illness.
Mrs. Fletcher was born Dec. 23, 1908, at Fairland.
She lived in Afton from 1952 to 1994, when she moved to a Tulsa nursing home.
She worked as a caregiver for the Department of Human Services, a voter registrar and a baby-sitter.
She also worked at the Avon Tourist Court, Buffalo Ranch and Afton Hospital.
She was a member of Afton First United Methodist Church.
Her first husband, Fred Henry Hemancq, died in 1958.
Her second husband, George Fletcher, died in 1983.
Survivors include two daughters, Lilah Heman Russell and Faye Heman Ready, both of Tulsa; a stepson, Lester Heman, Hermiston, Ore.; two sisters, Erthie Myers, rural Fairland, and Martha Walker Williams, Miami; five grandchildren and three great-grand-children.
Arrangements are pending with Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home.
Patricia Hale
GROVE, Okla. _ Patricia Hale, 64, Grove, died at 9:48 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Hale was born April 1, 1933, at Marshall, Minn.
She moved to Arkansas City, Kan.
She graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1951.
She moved to Grove in 1984 from Arkansas City.
She worked for DiVall Retail Liquor Store, Arkansas City, for ten years.
She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the VFW, DAV, and the American Legion.
She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an Episcopalian.
She married Clarence Richard Devereux on April 9, 1955, at New Kirk.
He died in 1975. She married Arthur Hale on Feb. 14, 1980, at Arkansas City. He survives.
Additional survivors include four sons, Richard Emery, Atlanta, Ga., Robert Emery, Parsons, Kan., David Devereux, Denver, Colo., and Darin Devereux, Arkansas City; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Arkansas City, with the Rev. Bill Fulton officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hinderliter-Woodard Funeral Service, Grove.
Hattie Migis
GROVE, Okla. _ Hattie Louise Migis, 91, Grove, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at a Grove nursing home after a short illness.
Mrs. Migis was born June 19, 1906, at Sioux City, Iowa. She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian.
She married Joseph P. Migis on July 20, 1928, at Elk Point, S.D. He died June 27, 1964.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Paul Migis, Grove; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Logan Cemetery, Sioux City, Iowa.
Visitation will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
Contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
Terri Harper
Terri Lynn Harper, 42, Talala, Okla., died at 8:05 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Okla., after an illness.
She was a daughter of John W. Freeman, 1505 E. 50th St., Joplin.
Mrs. Harper was born Jan. 15, 1956, in Tulsa, Okla.
She graduated from Will Rogers High School, Tulsa, and Northeastern A&M; College, Miami, Okla.
She later returned to Tulsa. She lived at Beggs, Okla., for eight years and in Talala the past seven years.
She was a computer lab coordinator for Oolagah-Talala public schools.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Oolagah, and a former member of the Girl Scouts.
She married Rob Harper on March 12, 1977, at Tulsa.
He survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Travis Harper, of the home; a daughter, Christy Harper, of the home; and two sisters, Nancy Langley, Tulsa, and Kim Knight, Viburnum.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Oolagah-Talala High School auditorium, Oolagah.
The Rev. Michael R. Knight and the Rev. Ben Williams will officiate.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Talala.
