EUCHA, Okla. — Robert “Bob” Baker, 73, a service station owner, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Coffelt Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Okla.
Naomi Records
WYANDOTTE, Okla. — Naomi Records, 85, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Council House Church. Burial will be in Council House Cemetery.

Darla J. Scoles
MIAMI, Okla. — Darla Jean Scoles, 65, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003.
No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home, Miami.
William Helton
GROVE, Okla. — William Harris Helton, 78, Grove, died Friday, Oct. 10, 1997, at a Grove nursing home after a long illness.
Mr. Helton was born May 17, 1919, at Shurbert, Neb. He served 22½ years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1959. He later spent 12½ years with the Bureau of Prisons in Missouri as food administrator, retiring in 1974. He was a member of Pearl Harbor Survivors and the Veterans of ForeignWars, Springfield.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Adams, Grove; two daughters, Joan Masterson, Tulsa, and Michele Davidson, Grove; a stepdaughter, Sandi Orf, St. Charles, Mo.; four sons, David Helton, Tom Helton and James Helton, all of Tulsa, and William R. Helton, Central America; three brothers, Elmer Helton, Reno, Nev., Dick Helton, Columbus, Ohio, and Mike Helton, Gilberttown, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Jefferson Barricks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo. Veterans' rites will be conducted by Survivors of Pearl Harbor.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
Mary Summerfield
EUCHA, Okla. — Mary Louise Summerfield, 65, Eucha, died at 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 1997, at St. John's Hospital, Tulsa, after a long illness.
Mrs. Summerfield was born July 6, 1932, in Delaware County. She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, north of Jay. She served as a granny at Jay Public Schools in Mrs. Cunningham's kindergarten class. She was a member of the board for Elder Care/Meals on Wheels, Jay.
She married John Wayne Summerfield on Dec. 9, 1960, at Miami. He survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Marvin James Summerfield, Jay; four daughters, Wanda Faye Littlebear, Tulsa, Katherine Ann Newcomb, Tahlequah, and Janice L. Weaver and Lisa L. Bennett, both of Claremore; four brothers, John Lee Tanner and Jack Tanner, both of Jay, Danny Tanner, state of Minnesota, and Michael Tanner, Tahlequah; five sisters, Minnie Kaye and Regina Fouse, both of Tulsa, and Bertha Teague, Mary Rogers and Martha Tanner, all of Jay; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Delaware Baptist Church, Jay, with the Rev. Larry Kingfisher officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, north of Jay.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay.
Bennie Hail
MIAMI, Okla. — Bennie William Hail, 78, Miami, died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, June 29, 1998, at his home after five months of ill health.
Mr. Hail was born Feb. 12, 1920, at Welch. He attended the West Anthracite Country School, near Welch, for several years and later attended school in Commerce. He worked for Sperry-Vickers Industrial Plant, Joplin, Mo., for many years, retiring in 1982 as production foreman. He also owned and operated Ben Hail's Grocery Store in North Miami for several years.
He was a longtime member of North Miami Baptist Church. He served on the North Miami City Council for many years and on the Commerce (Okla.) Board of Education from 1952 to 1958.
He married Imogene Burchett on May 16, 1939. She died Feb. 19, 1983. He married Delores A. Mills on Feb. 22, 1988. She survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Jerry Lee Hail, Joplin, Mo.; two daughters, Patricia Faye Hall, Commerce, and Nancy Elizabeth Hail, Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Lucille Eads, Commerce; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 620 Fifth St. S.E., Miami.
Arrangements are pending with Thomas Funeral Home, Welch.
Margie Singer
MIAMI, Okla. — Graveside services for Margie Mae Mericle Singer, 86, Miami, who died Saturday, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at GAR Cemetery, Miami.
The Rev. Clyde Stilley will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home, Miami.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
Arthur Womack
MIAMI, Okla. — Arthur D. Womack, 94, 1936 A St. N.E., died at 11:55 a.m. Sunday, June 28, 1998, at Baptist Regional Health Center, Miami, after an illness.
Mr. Womack was born Jan. 12, 1904, at Southwest City, Mo. He moved to Miami in 1949 from Southwest City. He was a home builder, working for Harralson Construction Co. in Miami. He retired in 1966.
He was a member and former deacon of Northwest Baptist Church, Miami.
His wife, Edith Womack, died Dec. 13, 1994.
One daughter also preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Neldena Harris, Miami, and Mildred Harrell, Tulsa; an adopted daughter, Bette Oyler, Grove; two sisters, Ruth Parrish, Hagerman, Idaho, and Ruby Jean Benning, Vinita; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending with Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami.
Sandra Ellison
Sandra Lea "Sandy'' Ellison, 57, Cookson, Okla., died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at Tulsa Regional Medical Center, after an illness. Her daughter, Tris Chew, lives in Joplin.
Mrs. Ellison was born June 28, 1940, at Sulphur Springs, Ark. She owned Sam's Restaurant in Cookson. She was a pioneer of the Tenkiller Area Community Organization (TACO), serving as a past president. She also was involved with the Cookson Jubilee and was a member of the Cookson Fire Department for 19 years.
She was a member of Cookson First United Methodist Church.
Additional survivors include her husband, Eldon; two sons, Johnny Ellison, Leavenworth, Kan., and Billy Ellison, Cookson; her parents, John and Gwen Howerton, Cookson; two sisters, Donna Short, Tulsa, and Steva Guthrie, Van Buren, Ark.; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Cookson First United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Lowry will officiate. Burial will be in Cookson Cemetery, under the direction of Hart Funeral Home, Tahlequah.
Pallbearers will be Dick Ledgerwood, Norman Niederbrach, Judd Knowles, Darcy Hicks, Ed Bray and Jerry Nickels.
Wynefred Arnall
GROVE, Okla. _ Wynefred H. Arnall, 81, Grove, died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at Grove General Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Arnall was born Jan. 2, 1917, at Hobart. She was a homemaker and attended Grove First Christian Church.
She married Ralph E. Arnall on Jan. 3, 1937, at Tulsa. He survives.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, with Wayne Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Olympus Cemetery, Grove.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. todaysat at the funeral home.
Joann Briscoe
MIAMI, Okla. _ Joann Briscoe, 69, 1105 E St. NW, died at 8:52 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at a Quapaw nursing home after a long illness.
Mrs. Briscoe was born Feb. 9, 1928, at Byron, Okla. She moved to Miami in 1950 from Commerce. She also had lived in North Miami. She worked for six years as a ward clerk at Baptist Regional Health Center, Miami. She was a member of Miami First Church of the Nazarene.
She married Jeff T. Briscoe on June 21, 1947, at Columbus, Kan. He died Sept. 22, 1995.
Survivors include two sons, George Briscoe, St. Louis, Mo., and Roger Briscoe, Miami; a daughter, Donna Teague, Miami; three brothers, Don Tockey, Trinity, Ala., Phillip Tockey, Cleveland, and Mike Tockey, Arlington Heights, Ill.; a sister, Helen Lillie, Bushnell, Ill.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
