DONALD LEE LANGE
Graveside services for Donald Lee Lange, 73 of Union City were held on Monday, November 27, 2006, 2 pm at the Union City Cemetery with Rev. John McDaniel officiating under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
Donald Lee Lange was born February 15, 1933 at Cogar to Mannie Moffett and Lillie Mae (Fears) Lange and died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at his home in Union City.
He was raised in the Cogar community, moved from Nevada in 1976 back to Cogar then to Union City in 1978. Donald served in the United States Army from 1953-1956, was a member of the VFW Post 382 of El Reno and worked construction and oil field most all of his life.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents: Mannie and Lillie Lange.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Rod and Naomi Lange of Japan; two daughters and a son-in-law: Dawn and Tim Novosad of Yukon and Sandy Marsh of Minco; three brothers and a sister-in-law: Truman and Jeanene Lange of OKC, Jerry Lange and Bill Lange both of Cogar; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Edna and Jack Boen of OKC, Deanna and Glen Quillin of Yukon and Bonita Ulum of Savoy, Texas; four grandchildren: Peyton and Gage Novosad and Derek and Kristin Marsh; two great grandchildren: Rose and Rain.

FLOYD LUTHER JENKINS
Floyd Luther Jenkins was born on August 11, 1935 in Tuttle, OK and died November 27, 2006 in Riverton, Wyoming.
He was the third child of eleven born to W.A. and Cleo Jenkins.
Floyd was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Sisneros Jenkins and parents.
He is survived by three sisters: Helen Dibble of Sidney, New York, Lina Bolin of Pampa, Texas and Sally Ingram of Tuttle, OK; brothers: Bill Jenkins Sr. of Bay City, Texas, John Jenkins Sr. of Pace, Florida, W.A. Jenkins III of Commerce, Texas, Tony Jenkins of Weatherford, Texas, Eddie Jenkins of Dallas, Texas, James Jenkins of Ft. Worth, Texas and Joe Jenkins of Garland, Texas.
Services were held November 29, 2006 at Rostad Mortuary Chapel in Rawlins, Wyoming and burial at Rawlins Cemetery.
JAMES WARREN “JIM” MADISON
Services for James Warren “Jim” Madison, 58 former Minco resident were held on Monday, December 4, 2006 at 1 pm at the Huber-Benson Chapel at 100 S. Barker in El Reno, with visitation beginning on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006 from 1pm - 8pm at the Huber-Benson Funeral Home in El Reno. Rev. Steven Shellhammer pastor of the Minco First Baptist Church will officiate and burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
James Warren “Jim” Madison was born July 13, 1948 at Minco to James H. and Kathryn Alma (Boaz) Madison and died Sunday, November 26, 2006 at his home in Port Aransas, Texas.
He was raised in the Minco community where he graduated from Minco High School. Mr. Madison had worked as a police officer at Chickasha for approximately four years and worked at the El Reno Federal Corrections Institute where he retired as a senior guard in 2001. He was a member of ABATE- biking club - A Brotherhood Aiming Towards Education. He attended and organized many bike runs, toy drives, fund raisers and was also a motorcycle Santa all for ways to raise money and awareness for children. His next run was to be the Jim Madison Toy Project in Port Aransas, TX on December 9, 2006 which will still take place as the Jim Madison Memorial Toy Project - anyone wanting to donate in lieu of flowers can make checks or donations payable to Kelly Madison in c/o Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.
Jim lived in the Minco community till his retirement in 2001 when he chose to travel and settle in Port Aransas, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents: James H. Madison and Kathryn Beaty.
Survivors include: a son: James “Kelly” Madison of Owasso, Oklahoma; two adopted boys: Kevin Fertic of Washington, Oklahoma and Robert Brown of Oologah, Oklahoma; four grandchildren: April, Austin, Alexis, and Kody Madison all of Owasso, Oklahoma.
BILL BINGHAM
Bill Bingham, 68, of Tuttle, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
He was born on Jan. 13, 1937 in Oklahoma City. His parents were Ralph Bingham and Jewell Carver Bingham.
Bill grew up on a farm near Pittsburg , Okla. He attended Pittsburg schools and graduated with the class of 1956.
After high school he enlisted into the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean conflict.
On June 24, 1961 he married the love of his life, Dorothy Deralene Hardy. They were married in Guthrie, Okla. and together raised two children.
Bill and his family lived in Oklahoma City for nearly 20 years before moving to Tuttle in 1982.
He worked for OKC Linens, later owned by Nuway Laundry, for nearly 36 years. Throughout his life, Bill enjoyed camping and fishing. In his later years he liked surfing the Internet at home.
Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Amanda Triplett.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Deralene Bingham of the home in Tuttle; one son, Billy Bingham and wife Bobbi of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Denise Palmer and husband Donnie of Alex, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Charles Johnson, Jackie and Stephen Shupert, Kyle Palmer, Jessica Bingham, Krysta Palmer, Julie Bingham and Billy Bingham Jr.; four great grandchildren; Riley and Tyler Johnson, Jaidynn Bingham and Jasmine Bingham.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2006 at Airport Assembly of God in south Oklahoma City. Officiating was Rev. LaDonna Grissom. Pallbearers were Earl Rose, Stephen Shupert, Charles Johnson, Sam Callaway, Mark Hardy and Frank Blazek. Interment was at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle.
JAMES EMMETT ELLIOTT
James Emmett Elliott, born April 3, 1934, passed away at the age of 72 on Saturday, December 9, 2006, after a short battle with cancer. Mr. Elliott was born in Minco, OK, and graduated from Vian High School in Vian, OK. He attended Arkansas City Junior College in Arkansas City, KS, where he met and married his wife, Esther Jean. He graduated college from Southwestern State College in Winnfield, KS. He relocated to Buras, LA, in 1958 and was a partner in a successful parts and hardware business. He worked as a businessman in Buras and in Belle Chasse for 40 years, was a resident of Plaquemines Parish for 48 years, and served as a member and a Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse and as Board Member of the First Baptist Church Kindergarten.
Mr. Elliott is preceded in death by his parents: William Christopher and Lula Lattimore; brothers: William C. and John Thomas Elliott; a sister: Ann Lou Basore; and a niece: Lee Anne Roberts.
Mr. Elliott is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Esther Jean Lacquement Elliott; two daughters, Kathleen Jean Elliott and husband, D. Stephen Voss of Lexington, KY, and Mary Elizabeth Elliott of Denham Springs, LA; his siblings: Kathleen Lambert and husband Denzille of Lawton, OK, Vertie Belle Elliott of Oklahoma City, OK, Frank Elliott and wife Eleanor of Covington, LA, Charles Elliott and wife Edla of Pokeville, NC, Judy Brown and husband Charles of Oklahoma City, OK, Mary Lee Roberts and husband Troy of Westville, OK, Faye Anderson and husband Bobby of Vian, OK, Aaron Elliott and wife Billie June of Vian, OK; nephews: W. Christopher Elliott, FJ Elliott, Mark, Bill, Charles-Alan, Steven, and BillBob and nieces Denise, Wendy, Diane, Cheri, Carol, Chris, Jane-Anne, Susan, Sherry, Maryanne, Troy-Lynne and three grandchildren, Gareth James Voss, Corrine Faye Elliott and Elizabeth Rene Elliott all of Lexington, KY, and numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend a funeral service at First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse at 8828 Hwy 23 at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 12, 2006. A visitation was held at the church from 9 AM until funeral time on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held with extended family in Minco, OK at Graveside only Friday, December 15, 2006 at 1 PM with Rev. Steve Shellhammer, pastor Minco First Baptist Church officiating. Mr. Elliott will be laid to rest in the Elliott family plot at Evergreen Cemetery in Minco, OK with arrangements by Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.

Floyd Ray Littleton
Floyd Ray “Bo” or “Cotton” Littleton, age 68 of Tuttle, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Floyd was born February 13, 1940 in Oklahoma City, the youngest of three children born to Clifford Decab and Mattie Ellen (Brown) Littleton. Bo was raised in Oklahoma City, attended U.S. Grant School and lived in Oklahoma City most of his life before moving to Tuttle in 2002. Bo loved his family and friends and especially enjoyed burning DVD movies and baking for them. He worked as a baker and a barber for many years. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Clifford and Mattie Littleton and his precious son, Curtis Ray Littleton.
He is survived by his daughter, Deanna McFarland and husband Mitch of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Georgia London of the home in Tuttle and Elsie Williams of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Symphony and Sebastian; Niece, Ernestine Williams of the home in Tuttle and many other family and friends.
Funeral Services were held. Saturday July 12, 2008 at the First Assembly of God Church in Tuttle with Pastor Larry Harris officiating. Pallbearers were Tony Baird, Carl Laffoon, Michael Laffoon, Floye Lee Lavarnway, Trent London and Brock Maroney. Honorary bearers were Barron Baird, Greg Lavarnway, Dillon Lavarnway and Rob Golowinski. Burial followed at the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Newcastle.
Joe Gilbert Estes
Joe Gilbert Estes was born to Evelyn (Moats) and James Monroe Estes on August 24, 1924 in Atoka, Oklahoma.
He attended school in Olney and served in the United States Navy during World War II on the carrier USS Saratogo. Joe was employed as a supervisor by the Oklahoma City Water Department. He moved from Oklahoma City to Tuttle in 1974 and attended Tuttle Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed raising, training and trading mules.
Joe passed away July 9, 2008 at 83 years of age.
Survivors include his son, Timothy (Tim) Merle Estes, of Lewisville, Texas; daughters, Lydia Ann Baird and her husband, Phillip of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Nancy Jo Francis of Moore; grandchildren, Trevor Jordan, James Jordan, III, Nathan Baird, Captain Garry Francis, II, Larrissa Sugg, Robert Estes, Jr; great grandchildren, Jacob Jordan, Conner Jordan, Alex Jordan, Katherine Jordan, Jaylon Baird, Jessica Jordan, Lauren Roubicek, Will Roubicek; brother, Harold Estes and his wife, Margaret, of Lehigh, Oklahoma; sisters, Reba Eddings and her husband, Clifford, of Coalgate, Virginia Rickard of Ada, June Elliot of Hugo, Mary Yother of Coalgate, Norma Maynes of Streetman, Texas; numerous other relatives and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, by two wives, Dolores Ann Estes, and Regina Nadine Estes, four brothers, three sisters, three children, Robert, Roger and Gaylene Estes, two grandchildren, Jay Jordan and John Rosson.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Eisenhour Chapel in Blanchard. Reverend Larry Harris officiated with interment held in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
RUTH MARIE MARTIN
Funeral services for Ruth Marie Martin, age 88 of Tuttle, Oklahoma were held 10:30 am Wednesday December 20, 2006 in the Sowers Memorial Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle.
Ruth Marie Martin was born November 7, 1918 in Hughes County near Allen, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Green and Minnie Owens. She died Sunday December 17, 2006 in Tuttle.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
Ruth married Elmer Martin October 17, 1932. They had been married almost sixty-five and a half years when he died on April 9, 1998.
Ruth was a Sunday School Teacher for forty-three years. Her favorite scripture was Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and
lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he
shall direct thy paths.
Her daughter, Venita, said she has heard her mother quote that many times in those hard spots of life.
Ruth and Elmer lived in Duncan, Oklahoma for many years. While living there Ruth owned and operated a gift and crafts business. She designed, pieced, and appliquéd quilts of all sizes which she would hand-quilt. She sold hot air balloon, golf, flower, and doll quilts across the United States. She also made theme quilts about Oklahoma and Texas. Ruth took great pleasure in giving her quilts to family and friends. There is a quilt she and her granddaughter Pam made together, Pam having cross-stitched the blocks. There is one with a sports theme she made for her grandson Martin because of his love of sports. She also made quilts for her great-granddaughters Rana and Amber. At the funeral, the casket was draped with a quilt in loving memory of her extraordinary talent.
In 1977 Ruth and Elmer moved to Tuttle where she continued to teach Sunday School and make her quilts. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuttle.
Ruth was also preceded in death by her parents and four older brothers: John Pryor “J.P.” Owens, Sid Owens, Fred Owens, and Jess Owens.
Survivors include: her daughter: Venita Shaw and husband Ronald of Tuttle; granddaughter: Pamela Mackey and husband John of Wellston; grandson: Martin Walker of Oklahoma city; great granddaughters: Rana Camp and husband Kenny of Oklahoma City, Amber Leafty and husband Johnny of Wellston; great great grandson: Johnny Edward Leafty; great great granddaughters: Kaylynn and Dallas Leafty; nephew: Bill Griffin and wife Glendene of Allen, Oklahoma; other nephews, nieces, and friends in Tuttle, Allen and Duncan, Oklahoma and in California, Arizona and Arkansas.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Wayne Huey and to Roseann Yeakley, administrator of Tuttle Care Center, and to her staff for their compassionate care. Thank you, also, to Full Life Hospice for their special services in these last days.
VERDA JAMES
Verda James, 84, Oklahoma City, passed away Wednesday December 13, 2006 at the Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Verda Joe Claunch was born June 8, 1922 in Lexington, OK, the sixth of seven children born to Charlie Lee Claunch and Ida Robinson Claunch. She was raised in Lexington. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She worked tirelessly as homemaker, providing for her children and grandchildren. She was an avid collector. She loved to dance; she was an excellent cook and loved cooking homemade breakfast. She gave so much of herself to so many people and was affectionately known to many as “Granny”.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; three children, twins Harold and Darrell and daughter Shirley Wisdom; one grandson, Clint Ramsey; one great great granddaughter, Alexis Marie Johnson; three brothers, Marshall, Frank and Earl and three sisters, Maude, Lola and Mona.
She is survived by: two sons, Bobby Wisdom and wife Kay of Mustang; Warren “Bubby” Ramsey of Oklahoma City, six daughters, Jody Lawson of Tuttle ; Barbara Overstreet and husband Edward of Newcastle; Georgia Lee Campbell of Oklahoma City; Kathy Gwin and husband Gary of Moore; Nita Gail Rogers of Oklahoma City, and Frankie Jo Staggs and husband Rob of McAlister; twenty-five grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday December 19, 2006 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rocky Pettyjohn officiating. Pallbearers will be Britt Overstreet, Steven Gwin, Troy Edwards, Ricky Rogers, Jimmy Joe Ryan and Tony Overstreet.
Honorary bearers will be Larry Rogers, Chris Ramsey, David Ramsey, Jeremy Gwin, Adam Gwin and Christopher Ramsey, JR. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
LOIS E. VILIMEK
Lois E. Vilimek, 67, of Newcastle passed away Dec. 28, 2006 at her home in Newcastle.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1940 in Chicago , Ill. Her parents were William and Fran Chertiz. Lois grew up in Chicago and was raised Catholic.
On April 28, 1976 she married the love of her life, James R. Vilimek. They were married in Chicago and made their home there for many years.
In April of 1994 they moved to Oklahoma City, then in September of 1994 they moved to Newcastle where they lived today.
Lois had various jobs throughout her life before becoming a cook. She worked many years as a cook and owned and operated a business in Oklahoma City with her husband James. For enjoyment Lois loved to collect Christmas memorabilia and working in her yard. She especially loved this time of year and decorating for Christmas.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, James, of the home in Newcastle; four children, Donald Povilowis of Oklahoma City, Robert Povilowis and wife Mary Lou of Illinois, Margaret Povilowis of Newcastle, and William Povilowis of Tuscon , Ariz.; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister, Rose Grace and husband Steve of Florida; two brothers, Carl Chertiz of Texas and William Chertiz of Nevada, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle. Interment followed at the Blanchard Cemetery.
