JAN EFFINGER
Jan Effinger, age 54 of Newcastle passed away
unexpectedly Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Integris S.W. Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
he was born on May 14, 1952 in Pauls Valley, Okla. She was the fourth child of five children born to James Harvey Montgomery and Tressie Christine Wheeler. Jan grew up in South Oklahoma City where she also attended school. She later married
and raised two daughters Jackie and Toni. She remained living in the Oklahoma City area most of her life and has lived in Newcastle for the past six years.
Jan worked at various jobs throughout her life and worked for Hertz Rental Corp. for the past eight years.
She loved being outdoors where in years past she enjoyed fishing. She also loved crafts, sewing and spending time on her computer. But most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, James and Tressie Montgomery; her husband, Arrie Effinger; and one sister, Lavonna Montgomery.
Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Worley of Newcastle and Toni Pyle and husband Rick of Newcastle; two brothers, James and Mary Montgomery of Willington, Ill. and Rodney and Margie Montgomery of Lone Grove, Okla.; one sister, Barbara Howerton and husband Paul of Pauls Valley; four grandchildren, Andrew Barber and Jordan, Tyler and Seth Pyle; her four best friends, Ida, Tril, Marilyn and Debbie; and several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial services was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle. Officiating was Chaplain Harry Smith.
BILL NELL KOCH JONES
Bill Nell Koch Jones passed from this life October 27, 2006 at 103 years of age. She was preceded in death
by her parents, two husbands, Edgar Koch and Russell Jones, one son Myrl Koch and one grandson, John Koch.
Bill left behind two daughters, Helen Simmons of Blanchard, Oklahoma and Barbara Holland of Newcastle, Oklahoma. She had twelve grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren, 28 great great grandchildren and 9 great great great grandchildren. Bill had nine sets of six generation.
She was our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend. Bill loved her garden and flowers and always had something to eat when you stopped by. She loved all her family and friends. Precious memories of her will always be ours. Our Angel on earth now resting in Heaven.
Funeral services
were held at 2:30 Tuesday, October 31, 2006 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.
EULETA R. SCARBERRY
Euleta R. Scarberry age 64 of Newcastle , passed away
unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 27, 2006 in Antlers, Okla.
She was born on August 19, 1942 in Lamar, Ok;a. She was the oldest of five children and the only daughter born to J.B. Conley and Leona Marie Arthur.
Euleta grew up near Holdenville and attended the Moss country school where she graduated in 1960. One year later she married
the love of her life, L. J. Scarberry. They were married
on June 5, 1961 in Oklahoma City and remained living there until 1971. They lived in Yukon from 1971 to 1985 and then made their home in Newcastle.
Euleta was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver. Throughout her life she filled her home with lots of love and good home cooking for all of her family and friends.
While living in Newcastle she worked 11 years for Scott Cleaners.
She and her family enjoyed get-togethers, camping, fishing and traveling. She will be remembered for her endless love for her family.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, J.B. and Leona Conley.
Survivors include her husband, L.J. Scarberry of the home; one daughter, Brenda Scarberry Sanderfer of Checotah; one son; Ronald Wade Scarberry and wife Barbara of Piedmont; four brothers; Butch Conley and wife Melba of Yukon, Junior Barney Conley and wife Billie of Calvin, Shannie Conley of Tuttle, and Gary Conley and wife Janie of Tuttle; five grandchildren, Kyle Scarberry, Alicia Jones, Travis Jones, Rachel Scarberry and Hannah Scarberry; two great grandchildren; Davenee and Kaden Scarberry; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Newcastle .
Officiating will be Rev. Jim Jackson. Pallbearers will be nephews Chris, Bryan, Shawn, Bart and Todd Conley and Alan King. Honorary bearers will be Travis Jones and Kyle Scarberry.
Interment
will be at Sunny Lane Cemetery
in Del City . Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle.
BEN DAVID NICKELS
Funeral services
for Ben David Nickels, 82, of Chickasha, Oklahoma were held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2006 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha.
Ben David Nickels was born December 28, 1923 in Tuttle, Oklahoma the son of Lonnie B. Nickels, Sr. and Girtie Larcene (Elliott) Nickels and died October 25, 2006 in Chickasha.
Mr. Nickels lived in Chickasha for over 15 years.
He was preceded in death
by: Parents; one brother: J. B. Nickels; one sister: Katie Jones; one daughter: Linda Brannagan
Survivors include: One daughter: Janis Emry; one sister: Liddie Keller; one brother: Lonnie B. Nickels, Jr.; grandchildren: Josh Emry and Heather Emry, Danny Brannagan, Shane Brannagan and wife Jenny; host of nieces and nephews.
Interment
was in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
EDGAR LEE CRALLE
Edgar Lee Cralle, 84, passed away
Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, in Fort Worth.
Mr. Cralle was born April 17, 1922, in Norman, Okla., to Edgar and Florence Teal Cralle. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and worked in engineering management in the oil and gas industry. He moved to Granbury in 1986 after working in West Texas and Oklahoma. He was a former resident of Chickasha, Okla. He was preceded in death
by his first wife, Elizabeth Culbertson Cralle, in 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Wilmuth Youngblood Cralle of Granbury; daughters, Anne Miller, Donna Mills and husband, Wayne, all of North Richland Hills; sons, Michael Cralle and wife, Laura, of Midland, Steven Cralle of Dallas; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and extended family, Joel and Sandy Youngblood, Kerry Youngblood, Ronnie Youngblood; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services
were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas, with burial
at Holly Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be sent to the charity of choice.
JAMES “JIM” ELBERT MORTON, JR.
James “Jim” Elbert Morton Jr. died Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the age of 58.
He was born in Norfolk, VA, to James Elbert Sr. and Inez (Campbell) Morton. He graduated high school from Williambyrd, VA, and lived in Roanoke, VA, before moving to Mustang, OK in 1995 and later to Tuttle, OK in 2001.
Jim served his country in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion in El Reno, OK. He was a car salesman most recently with Diffee Motor Company in El Reno, OK.
He was preceded in death
by his parents. He is survived by his wife Linda (Pliler) of the home, two sons James Elbert Morton III and wife Michelle of Barboursville, VA, Patrick Noble Pathkiller and wife Meranda of Melrose, Kansas, one daughter, Michelle Marie Morton of Tuttle, OK, stepmother June Morton of Lexington, VA, two step sisters, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 2pm Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Mustang, OK, with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery
in Minco, OK, under the direction of McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
MYRT ANDERSON
Myrt Anderson was born July 2, 1920 near Shelbyville, Tennessee to Robert Luther and Martha Jane (Heath) Hollowell. She passed away
Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at the Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, OK at the age of 86.
Myrt graduated from Mountain View High School in 1938. She was united in marriage to Calvin B. Anderson January 21, 1939 in Mountain View, OK; Calvin preceded her in death
May 13, 1996.
Myrt was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church North of Eakly, OK. She and Calvin have lived in the Eakly area since 1954.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, Robert and Martha Hollowell, husband, Calvin B. Anderson, granddaughter, Dana (Thiessen) Clark, three brothers, Grady, Robert, and Henry Eugene Hollowell, and one sister, Louise Heath.
Survivors include four children, Pat Thiessen and her husband Dean of Eakly, OK, Ann Vincent and her husband Bob of Tuttle, OK, Sonny Anderson and his wife Brenda of Binger, OK, and Regena Gardner of Tuttle, OK; 12-grandchildren, Tracy Thiessen and wife Ronette , Kent Thiessen and wife Lindsey, Lori Turney and husband Jesse, and Dana (Thiessen) Clark, Gaila Harrison and husband Andy, Jana Savage and husband Justin, Kelly Cooper and husband Chad, Brad Anderson and wife Kayla, Angel Edingfield, Holley Thomas, Gina Ryan and husband Loyd, and Cary Chambers and wife Kristi; 18-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Addie Ruth Cain of Corn, OK
Services will be held at the Assembly of God Church, Saturday, 2:00pm, Oct. 14, 2006, Eakly, OK with Rev. Donnie Mooter, and Rev. Dicky Wilson officiating.
Burial
will be in the Eakly Cemetery, Eakly, OK under the direction of the Turner Funeral Home, Binger, OK.
DANIEL RICHARD DAVIS
A graveside service for Daniel Richard Davis, 52, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle.
Daniel Richard Davis was born July 28, 1954 in Pampa, Texas to Faye and William Davis and passed away
Sunday, October 8, 2006 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Dan attended school in Oklahoma City, where he graduated from Capital Hill High School in 1972, and he graduated from Oklahoma University in 1975 with a degree in Radiology. He worked as Manager of Vascular Services at Presbyterian Hospital. Dan will be greatly missed by his family, friends and co-workers.

ANNA MARIE PAYNE
Church services for Anna Marie Payne, 48 of the Minco-Cogar area were held on Saturday, October 8, 2006, 2 pm at the Canaan Baptist Church NE of Minco with Rev. Curtis Robertson of the church officiating.
Anna Marie Payne was born February 6, 1958 at El Reno to Frank R. and Faye (Kinder) Collins and died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at her home in Cogar after a lengthy illness.
She lived in the Minco-Cogar area all of her life. She graduated from Binger High School in 1976 and was a member of the Canaan Baptist Church NW of Minco. She worked at a local hog farm with the newborn pigs.
She is survived by: Parents: Frank and Faye Collins of the home in Cogar; one daughter: Cassie Payne of the Homesteaders Life Insurance Company; one brother: Frank D. Collins of Cogar; two sisters and brother-in-law: Lillian Faye and Stan Crawley of Blanchard, Paula Yevonne Henderson of Shawnee.

CURTIS RAY PERCELL
Curtis Ray Percell was born April 19, 1928 in Bennington, Oklahoma to Mattie (Tuttle) and John Alford Percell.
Curtis attended school at White Sand. He worked for LeeWay Motor Freight for 26 years as a dock worker and driver and later drove a school bus for Newcastle, Tuttle, and Bridge Creek. Curtis married
Ida Mae Brown on July 3, 1952 in Oklahoma City. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and enjoyed being outdoors and loved his family very much.
He passed away
October 6, 2006 at 78 years of age.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae Percell of the home in Oklahoma City; daughters, Teresa Housh of Oklahoma City, Wanda Weber and her husband, John, of Blanchard; grandchildren, Sheresa McDermott of Tuttle, Crystal Weber of Ft. Meyers, Florida; brothers, James Percell of Durant, Kenneth Percell and his wife, Linda, of Oklahoma City; sister, Jerline Hobbs of Bochita; numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death
by his parents; brothers, Alford, Otis; sisters, Genette Chapel, Emmagene Schmidt, and Iona Percell.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the Eisenhour Chapel, Blanchard. Reverend Emory Dye will officiate with interment held in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle. Arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
TERI LYNN WRIGHT
Memorial service for Teri Lynn Wright, 53, of Tuttle, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2006 in the Sowers Memorial Chapel.
Teri Lynn Wright was born September 26, 1953 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of Frank and Joyce (Zemlicka) Matthews and died October 5, 2006 at her home in Tuttle.
Teri grew up in the Dallas, Texas area before moving to Tuttle about 20 years ago. She and Cecil Wright were married
January 11, 1983 in Gainsville, Texas. Teri was a legal secretary.
She was preceded in death
by: Mother: Joyce Cramer; Brother: Brandon Matthews.
Survivors include: Husband: Cecil Wright of the home; Two Sons: Landon Wright of Tuttle, Shawn Wright of Tuttle; Father and Stepmother: Frank Matthews and Virginia Matthews of Hot Springs, Arkansas; One Brother: Robert Matthews of Corpus Christi, Texas.
