CLYDE V. ABBOTT
BEAVER, Okla. -- Clyde V. Abbott, 43, died Sunday, March 5, 2006, in Kingman County.
He was born Sept. 3, 1962, to Harold L. and Katherine Burgan Abbott in Liberal, Kansas.
He married Marilyn Schupman Sept. 16, 1980, in Adams, Okla.
He then married Marsha B. Benton Oct. 25, 1989, in Hugoton.
She survives.
He attended school in Liberal, Kansas, and graduated from Tyrone (Okla.) High School in 1980.
He was a disc jockey for the local Liberal radio stations and drove truck.
He loved to ride horses, fish and camp.
He is also survived by his parents; two sons, Robert L. Abbott, Akron, Colo., and Preston Abbott, Beaver, Okla.; three daughters, Kayla Christen, Akron, Keely Hammock-Mosby, Liberal, and Pennie Sue Abbott, Beaver; three grandchildren; two brothers, Steve Abbott and wife, Maureen, Tyrone, and Ronald Abbott and wife, Roberta, Lewis; and two sisters, Sandra Harrington and husband, Paul, Turpin, Okla., and Debra Ranard and husband, Michael, North Marlboro, Md.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ward and Juanita Trim and Clyde Abbott, and one grandson, Kobe Mosby.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nazarene Church in Liberal, Kansas with Pastor Jim Mather presiding.
JOHNEY BRYAN
GUYMON, Okla. -- Johney Bryan, 83, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at Memorial Hospital of Texas County.
Funeral services
are pending and will be announced by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
PAM K. FIELDS
GUYMON, Okla. -- Pamela Kay Fields, 25, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Memorial Hospital of Texas County.
She was born June 18, 1980, to Lenard and Maxine (Ashlock) Johnson in Beaver, Okla.
She married Tim Fields June 18, 1997, at Sunset Lake in Guymon, Okla.
He survives.
She graduated from Tyrone (Okla.) High School with the Class of 1998.
She was employed by the City of Guymon Transportation Department where she drove "The Ride."
Other survivors include her father; three children, Nichole, Tyler and Trey Fields, all of the home; and one brother, Jason Johnson and wife, Tara, Tyrone.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral services
will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Victory Memorial United Methodist Church in Guymon with the Rev. Tim Brittain, pastor of Four Square Church, presiding. --
Burial will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery.

FLETA D. RITTERBUSH
BEAVER, Okla. -- Fleta Darlene Ritterbush, 91, died Friday, March 31, 2006, at the Beaver County Nursing Home in Beaver, Okla.
She was born Oct. 25, 1914, to Sherman and Edith (Brandt) Hill.
She married Kenneth Lorriane Ritterbush.
He died Oct. 29, 1996.
She graduated from high school.
She was a homemaker all of her life.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Ritterbush; four grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Kenneth Ritterbush.
Graveside funeral services were at 2 p.m. today at Forgan (Okla.) Cemetery with Bill Nichols presiding.
Burial was at Forgan Cemetery.
KENNETH CONNER
BEAVER, Okla. -- Kenneth Conner, 91, died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at Beaver County Memorial Hospital in Beaver, Okla.
He was born June 11, 1914, to Clyde V. and Exie (Nelson) Conner.
He married Mollie Myer March 25, 1939, in Woodward, Okla.
She died March 13, 1995.
He graduated from Beaver High School in Beaver.
He was a farmer and rancher all his life.
He was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church.
He was a 38-year member and trustee on the board of Panhandle Telephone Co-Op and was vice-chairman for several years.
He is survived by one son, Robert Conner and wife, Connie, Enid, Okla.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Beaver First Christian Church with Lynn Spencer presiding.
Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver.
KENNETH D. GRAYSON
Kenneth Dale Grayson, 79, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at Dunaway Manor in Guymon, Okla.
He was born July 18, 1927, to C.A. "Doc" and Myrtle (Snodgrass) Grayson in Priddy, Texas.
He married Hilda Jean Pitts Sept. 10, 1956, in Comanche, Texas.
She survives.
He served his country as a seaman in the Merchant Marines and then in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1948 until 1956.
He transferred engineering jobs in the telephone industry.
He worked for Panhandle Telephone in Guymon until 1974, when he went to work for the City of Guymon.
He worked for a brief time in the water department for the city before moving to animal control, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the Comanche First Baptist Church and the Pioneer Telephone Club.
Other survivors include one daughter, Patti Moore and husband, Dennis, Hooker, Okla.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Butler and husband, Brian, Tyrone, Okla., Kendra Moore and fiance, Nick Williams, Guymon, and Rocky Moore and wife, Lindsey, Guymon; nine great-grandchildren, Kersten Lyon, Skyler Duke, Nickisha, Teara, and Renika Gordwin, Maddison, Malia, and Emma Moore, and Jillian Butler; one brother, Dan Grayson and wife, Elsmer, Comanche; one sister, Pat Huffman, Stephenville, Texas; two nephews, Steve Grayson and wife, Donna, and Bill Moos; and one niece, Dana Stone and husband, Charlie.
Funeral services
with military rites were at 11 a.m. Monday at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with the Rev. Odie Nunley presiding.
