ROBERT L. SHILLING
TYRONE Okla. Robert L. "Bob" Shilling, 78, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at his home.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1926, to Jake and Mary Shilling in Kingman.
He married Donna Stalcup on Oct. 28, 1950, in Liberal. She survives.
He worked for Beech Aircraft from 1951 until the plant closed.
For 34 years, he owned and operated Shilling Lawnmower Service.
He was a member of the Tyrone Church of Christ, Tyrone Saddleback Club, Tyrone Booster Club and served on the Tyrone School Board for six years.
Other survivors include two sons, John and wife Debbie Shilling, Tyrone, Okla.; Jerry and wife Beth Shilling, Kingfisher, Okla.; one daughter, Janell Ruback, Tyrone, Okla.; six grandchildren, Jason Shilling, Jennifer Davis, Brooke Caffey, Julie Huffman, Janessa Ruback and Joanna Ruback; six great-grandchildren, Preston Davis, Caden Caffey, Madison Davis, Cruz Caffey, Evan Shilling and Macie Caffey; and one sister, Louella Dryer, Yakima, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, one son, Jerald Allan Shilling, one sister, Velma Hackler, and three brothers, Ancel, Carl and Lawrence Shilling.
Funeral services
were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Tyrone Church of Christ with Richard Dent presiding.
Burial was in Tyrone Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Tyrone Cemetery and may be left at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745 Hooker, Okla. 73945.
MARY L. PEPPERS
GUYMON, Okla. -- Mary Lou Latham Peppers, 90, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at Southwest Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 18, 1914, to Louis Edward Latham and Mary Angeline (Tyler) Latham.
She married J.K. Sproles in 1936.
She then married Gilbert Peppers June 23, 1962. He preceded her in death.
She graduated from Guymon (Okla.) High School in 1932 and received a B.A. degree in psychology in 1936 from what is now the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
She began teaching second grade at Academy Elementary School in 1956.
She received certification from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 1963 and then provided speech therapy to Goodwell's and all five of Guymon's schools.
She retired from teaching in 1977 after 21 years of service.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and various community activities where she had served as Sunday school superintendent and teacher and had been a member of Presbyterian Anns, Presbyterian Women and served as deacon and elder and other offices.
She was a member of PEO, AM Chapter, Oklahoma Education Association and various bridge clubs.
She also volunteered for Meals On Wheels and Loaves and Fishes.
She was selected as the l996 Pioneer Days Queen.
Survivors include one son, Larry Peppers and wife Judy, Henderson, Ky.; five daughters, Joyce Field, Guymon, Okla., Mima Hale and husband Rex, Guymon, Okla., Tara Peppers, Houston, Angie Hoover and husband Dannie, Pampa, Texas; Deborah Peppers and Don Riley, Alamo, Calif.; ten grandchildren, Leigh Field, Brady Field and wife Joy, Blake Poarch and wife Noriko, Ben Poarch, Markus Stamm, Richard Phillips and wife Dacia, Jon Phillips and wife Becky, Christy Hoover, Danette Rivera and husband Ruben, Jared Hoover; 10 great-grandchildren, Chase Phillips, Grant Phillips, Ashton Phillips, Trevor Franklin, Jacob Phillips, Payton Phillips, Mackenzie Rivera, Miguel Rivera, Jacob Field and Coalson Field; and a brother Tyler Latham and wife Geraldine, Guymon, Okla.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James A. Jacobson presiding. --
Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery.

CLIFTON K. DRUM
FORGAN, Okla. -- Clifton Keith Drum, 88, died Dec. 17, 2004, at his residence in Forgan, Okla.
He was born Jan. 1, 1916, to Clifton K. and Ruth Drum in Beaver County, Okla.
He graduated from Beaver High School in 1933 and college where he became a lawyer.
He served in the United States Navy in World War II.
He was a member of the Rotary, the Masonic Lodge and the Beaver County Historical Society.
Survivors include one son, Keith Drum, Jr., Yorba Linda, Calif.; one daughter, Shannon Knapke, Beaver, Okla.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Beaver First Christian Church.
Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery.
FANNIE G. JUDY
BEAVER, Okla. -- Fannie Grace Judy, 99, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Beaver County Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 4, 1905, to Grace and Will Shoemaker in northern Beaver County.
She married Thomas A. Judy May 23, 1928, in Liberal.
He preceded her in death.
She attended school in Kansas and graduated from Meade High School in 1922. In 1928, she graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of Kansas.
She was a homemaker and taught at a country school for five years.
She was a member of the American Legion and VFW auxiliaries and was a charter member of the Beaver County Historical Society.
She enjoyed the Beaver Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include one son, Ronald and wife Nancy; one daughter, Carol; five grandchildren, Greg and Diane Judy, Arlington, Texas, Stephanie Payne, Grand Junction, Colo., and Alan and Linda Judy, Beaver, Okla.; two great-grandchildren, Larissa Judy and Nathan Judy, Arlington, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Imogene Myers.
Funeral services
were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at the Beaver United Methodist Church with Herb Bridgewater presiding and Leah Jones assisting.
Burial was in Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver, Okla.
Memorials are suggested to Beaver County Historical Society, Beaver County Senior Citizen Center or Beaver County Nursing Home.
FANNIE G. JUDY
BEAVER, Okla. -- Fannie Grace Judy, 99, Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Beaver County Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 4, 1905, to William and Grace (Danks) Schmoker in Beaver County, Okla.
She married Thomas Arthur Judy May 23, 1928, in Liberal.
He preceded her in death.
She helped on the ranch and was a homemaker all her life.
Survivors include one son, Ronald Judy, Gate, Okla.; one daughter, Carol Johnson, Highlands Ranch, Colo.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services
will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Beaver United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
