MARGARET E. WATSON
HOOKER, Okla. -- Margaret E. Watson, 87, died Nov. 18, 2003, at the Dunaway Manor in Guymon, Okla.
She was born July 14, 1916, to John E. and Fannie C. (Pitts) Williams in Sallisaw, Okla.
She married Clyde Wesley (Bill) Watson Nov. 22, 1934, in Clayton, N.M. He preceded her in death.
She served on the County Election Board, was secretary of treasurer of the Texas County Democratic Party from 1965 until her retirement, was a charter member of the Silver Haired Legislature and served two terms in office. She also served on the board of directors for the National Twenty State Coalition on Aging, was a member of the Organization of National Congressional Silver Haired Congress, was a delegate to the State and National Democratic Conventions, in 1995 was a state delegate for OEDA, served as an Ombudsman, was a member of the board of directors of the NW Oklahoma Division of Legal Aid and was a municipal judge for the town of Hooker.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Texas County Democratic Women and the Texas County Arts and Humanities Council.
Survivors include one son, James Watson and wife, Denise, Carbondale, Colo.; two daughters, Ann Redman and husband, Bud, Syracuse, and Janice Wright and husband, Gary, Eva, Okla.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, Pam and Randy Coleman, Michelle, Jace and Andie, Syracuse, Chris Redman, Overland Park, Brook and Doug Barnes and Garret, Haslet, Texas, Danny and Lorrie Wright, Tristan and Taron, Kismet, Angie and Daniel Heaton, Yukon, Okla., Stephen and Miranda Watson, Eric and Jackson, Carbondale, Colo. and Brandon and Patty Watson, Carbondale, Colo.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John Evans Williams and Lloyd George Williams.
Graveside services
will be at 2 p.m. today at Hooker Cemetery with the Reverend Rick Trobaugh of the United Methodist Church in Hooker, Okla. presiding.
Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to the City of Hooker Emergency Services and may be left at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.
BILL GARRISON
EDMOND, Okla. -- Bill Garrison, 49, died Nov. 19, 2003, in the Perry, Okla. area.
Services are pending with Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Okla.
BLANCHE ETTA TAYLOR
LAVERNE, Okla. -- Blanche Etta Taylor, 88, died Nov. 20, 2003, at the Beaver County Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 7, 1915, to George Hickman and Aurilla Belle (Tosh) Walker in Harper County, Okla.
She married Silas Doyle Taylor, Feb. 3, 1936, in Beaver, Okla. He died Feb. 7, 1973.
She attended schools and was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church for more than 50 years. She was a Nurse Aide when she worked.
Survivors include two sons, Verl Taylor, Chattanooga, Tenn. and Alva Taylor, Beaver, Okla.; one daughter, Eunice Aldrich, Laverne, Okla.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchilrdren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Laverne Cemetery with James Brown presiding.
Burial will be at the Laverne Cemetery in Laverne, Okla. under the direction of Clark-Wilkinson Funeral Home.
MARY LOU WARKENTIN
BEAVER, Okla. -- Mary Lou Warkentin, 75, died Sunday Nov. 30, 2003.
She was born Jan. 21, 1928, to Elza and Elsie (Eis) Hoover.
She married Dean William Warkentin July 18, 1953, in Beaver, Okla. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Kevin Warkentin, Mission Viejo, Calif., Keith Warkentin, Okmulgee, Okla. ; two brothers, Elsworth Hoover, Meade, Roy Hoover, Oklahoma City; five sisters, Itha Simmons, Enid, Okla, Ines Robertson, Houston, Texas, Peggy Cox, Oklahoma City, Bonnie Hendricks, Edmond, Okla., Karen Pauls, Hooker, Okla.; two grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
Graveside Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Pioneer Cemetery with Torry Curtis presiding.
Burial will be at the Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver, Okla.
Graveside Services will be at 2 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Garden in Liberal.
DIXIE DEAN DUNSWORTH
LAVERNE, Okla. -- Dixie Dean Dunsworth, 71, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Elk City Nursing Home in Elk City, Okla.
She was born March 30, 1932, to Roy and Myrtle (Harvey) Lamon.
She married Lawernce (Larry) Dunsworth May 8, 1948, in Perryton, Texas. He died Nov. 2, 1984.
She attended Liberal schools.
She was a waitress and cashier at Phil's Quik Stop.
She was a member of the First Church of God in Liberal.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Dunsworth, Olathe; Larry Dunsworth and wife, Fran, Elk City, Okla.; three daughters, Coleen Smith and husband, Mike, Elk City, Lona Darling and husband, Joe, Marysville, Wash., Lorna Kies and husband, Don, Noble, Okla.; one sister, Vedra Woodrum, Salem, Ore; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Danny Dunsworth and Alan Williams; three brothers, Ira Lamon, Harvey Lamon and Emmett Lamon; and three sisters, Verna Eyman, Jane Lamon and Iva Hoddy.
Funeral services
will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God Church with the Reverend Terry Eyman and Reverend West Peterman.
Graveside Services will be at 2 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Garden in Liberal.
Friends may call the Myatt-Seeger Funeral Home in Laverne, Okla. until 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

WILLARD M. HOWELL
Willard M. Howell, 87, Hooker, Okla. died Dec. 3, 2003, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
Services are pending with Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. Hooker, Okla.
WILLIAM D. "BILL" WHITE
William D. "Bill" White, 71, Tyrone, Okla. died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
Bill was born Aug. 7, 1932 in East Prairie, Mo. the son of William Joseph and Victoria Hackworth White. He grew up and attended school in this area. The family moved to Chicago, Ill. During the Korean War, Bill served in the U.S. Army and after his honorable discharge he returned to Chicago.
On Aug. 20, 1955 in Heranodo, Miss. Bill was united in marriage to Fonda Rose Starr. They made their home in Chicago, Ill. until 1958 when they moved to Tyrone, Okla. They moved back to Chicago for two years before returning to Tyrone.
Bill worked as a welder for Texas County District No. 1, working out of Hooker, Okla.
Bill was a member of Tyrone United Methodist Church, he loved to fish, hunt and work in his welding shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Russell White, one granddaughter, Amy Gardner; two brothers, Dock White and Homer White; five sisters, Lorene Jones, Thelma Hayden, Christine Byford, Toot Sisk and Willie Mae Mobbs.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tony White and wife, Debbie, Texline, Texas, Tommy White and wife, Rhonda, Tyrone, Okla.; one daughter, Janelle Gardner, and husband, Bill, Andrews, Texas; one brother, Pete White and his wife, Peewee, Simi Valley, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Gardner, Justin White, Jason Richards, Samantha Richards, Lane White, Lyndsey White, Colter White, Brandon White; two great-grandchildren, Mark Richards, Kevin White and a special niece, Doris Rose and her husband Bill, Charleston, Mo.
Funeral services
were at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2003 at the Tyrone United Methodist Church in Tyrone, Okla. with the Reverends Rick Trobaugh and Greg Keith presiding.
Burial was at Tyrone Cemetery.

PAT JOHNSON
MOORE, Okla. -- Pat Johnson,75, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003.
She was born May 23, 1928, to Ralph and Marg Brown Parker in Cleveland.
She married Bud Bollinger in 1952. He died in 1974. She then married Roy Johnson in June 1974 in Clayton, N.M. He survives.
She graduated from Liberal High School in 1946.
She taught school in New Orleans, La. and Africa.
She lived in England before returning to Liberal.
She was an active member of the Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, where she served in many capacities including the vestory and Episcopal Women, the PEO Chapter AP, DAR Cimarron River Valley Chapter AP in Liberal.
Other survivors include one son, Bob Bollinger and wife, Cindy, Perryton, Texas; two grandsons, Parker Bollinger, Lubbock, Texas; Jeromey Bollinger, Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Liberal Cemetery with the Reverends Charles and Beverly Bradley presiding.

STACY SCHLEHOFER
BEAVER, Okla. -- Stacy Schlehofer, 32, died Dec. 4, 2003, in Beaver.
He was born March 17, 1971, to Lloyd and Darlene (Reed) Schlehofer in Beaver.
He married Melody Newsted June 7, 1997, at Elmwood, Okla. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Damien Schlehofer; one daughter, Kaitlin Gowin; his mother, Bloomfield, N.M.; one brother, Tracy Schlehofer, Beaver; one sister, Tina Lynn Smith, Beaver; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services
for Stacy Schlehofer will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Beaver First Baptist Church with Dr. Ray Christian presiding.
Burial will be at the Heart Cemetery in Booker, Texas under the direction of Clark Funeral Service in Beaver.
