TYRONE, Okla. -- Tim Knoles, 30, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
He was born Dec. 4, 1971 in Hamilton, Ohio.
He attended school in Beaver, Okla.
He lived in Russell six years before moving to the Tyrone community.
He worked as a diesel mechanic.
His hobbies included working on old cars, in restoration and mechanics.
Survivors include his parents, Tyrone; four children, Olivia and Tyler Knoles, Russell, and Christopher and Keirston Knoles, Tyrone; companion, Crystal Carmody, Tyrone; three brothers, Clay Knoles, Little Rock, Ark., Smitty and Chad McIntire, both of Liberal; four sisters, Cheryl Usrey and husband, Robert, Pauls Valley, Okla., Michelle Keither and husband, Jack, Rogers, Ark., Cindy Standridge and husband, Raymond, Little Rock, and DeeDee Luebbers and husband, Danny, Liberal; grandmother Delores Shepherd, Beaver, Okla.; one uncle, David Bentley, Turpin, Okla.; two aunts, Vickie Mitchell and husband, Mike, Crane, Texas, and Sandy Gray and husband, Tom, McCarney, Texas; seven nephews; and six nieces.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Miller Chapel in Liberal with the Rev. Don Baldwin presiding.
Burial will be at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until service time Friday.

ROBERT R. BRIDWELL
BEAVER, Okla. -- Robert Ross Bridwell, 79, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at his home in Beaver.
He was born Feb. 19, 1923, to Hugh Vivian and Crystal Pearl (Perkins) Bridwell in Beaver.
He married Velma Dorene Mosburg March 31, 1947, in Meade. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Roy Glenn Bridwell, Forgan, Okla.; two daughters, Betty Marie Schollenbarger, Phoenix, Ariz., and Roberta Dorene Bridwell, Spearman, Texas; two brothers, Roy Bridwell, Beaver, and Marvin Bridwell, Ardmore, Okla.; two sisters, Doris Bradley, Beaver, and Charlotte Ann Goosey, San Bernadino, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Beaver First Baptist Church with the Dr. Don Rogers and Jim Sutherland presiding.
Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver.

JOE D. CLAYBROOK
BEAVER, Okla. -- Joe DeLoren Claybrook, 72, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, in Detroit, Mich.
He was born Sept. 2, 1930, to Joe and Malva Beatrice (Chuesburg) Claybrook in Beaver County, Okla.
He attended school at Palestine, Bethany and graduated from Balko High School in 1948. He graduated from Panhandle State University in 1952.
He worked as a fabrication inspector for the city of Detroit until his retirement.
Survivors include one son, Charles Claybrook, Channing, Texas; one daughter, Beverly Sparkman, Elkhart; four sisters, Donna Kippenberger, Guymon, Okla, Doris Sumrall, Moreland, Okla., Darlene Nelson, Elko, Nev., and Dolores Bartel, Balko, Okla.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clark Funeral Service Chapel in Beaver with Joe Day presiding.
Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery in Bryan's Corner, Okla.

EDITH KRUG
GUYMON, Okla. -- Edith "Odetta" Krug, 86, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002, at Morton County Care Center in Elkhart.
She was born Dec. 10, 1915, to George Henry and Lula Mae (McLaughlin) Whitfield in Weatherford, Texas.
She married Robert Sterling Krug May 23, 1937, in Nashville, Kan. He died Dec. 8, 1994.
She and her family moved from Ellinwod to the Hough area in 1950, where they ran a dairy farm for many years.
She was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church that later merged with Sunset Lane Baptist Church, and Willing Workers Home Demonstration Club.
Her hobbies included attending church activities and quilting.
Survivors include four sons, Don Krug and wife, Joan, Hooker, Okla., Gary Krug and wife, Loretta, Lindsay, Okla., Dr. David Drug and wife, Susie, Bristow, Okla., and Bill Krug and wife, Anita, West Lafayette, Ind.; two sisters, Laveta Garman and husband, Johnny, Bentonville, Ark., and Marlene Donaldson and husband, Earl, Russell; 10 grandchildren, Linda Ellsworth and husband, Eric, Lisa Kennedy and husband, Ray, Lara Helps and husband, Darrel, Luain Packard and husband, Neil, Penny Frizzell and husband, Rodney, Connie Smith and husband, Mark, Kara Tweedy and husband, Chris, Katie Scruggs and husband, Ben, Scott Krug and wife, Samantha, and Cory Krug; 20 great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law, Betty Whitfield, Anaheim, Calif., Pansy Chinn and husband, Don, Littleton, Colo., Gladys Krug, Pratt, Margaret Shomber, Great Bend, and Hazel Krug, Redlands, Calif.; and one brother-in-law, Alvin Krug and wife, Pat, Visilia, Calif.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Clelia Bell Sittner and Geneva Gacusana; two infant brothers; two additional brothers, Cecil Whitfield and Jay W. Whitfield; and grandson, Rocky Krug and wife, Pat.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Lane Baptist Church in Guymon with the Rev. Lloyd Riddles presiding and the Rev. Ron Mimms assisting.
Burial will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors in Guymon.

GARY M. BETZ
HOOKER, Okla. -- Gary Merle Betz, 60, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born Nov. 2, 1941, to Merle and Mary (Hawkins) Betz in Ness City.
He married Delores Swatzell Feb. 16, 1963, in Ness City. She survives.
He is a former resident of Ness City. He was a resident of Hooker for the past nine years.
He was the maintainance foreman for the City of Hooker. Prior to that, he worked for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline for 18 years.
He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Other survivors include his parents, Liberal; one son, Aaron Betz and wife, Tammie, Greenwood, Mo.; one daughter, April Coker and husband, T.J., Garden City; three brothers, Michael Betz, Wichita, Scott Betz, Fairplay, Colo., and Duart Betz, Liberal; two sisters, Ann Bell, Tyrone, Okla., and Tonda Betz, Turpin, Okla.; and three grandsons, Skyler Betz, Austin Ray and Kel Coker.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Melody and Claresa Betz.
Memorial services were at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Hooker with Eddie Scoggins presiding.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today at Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Ness City with Eddie Scoggins presiding.
Burial will be at Ness City Cemetery in Ness City with military graveside rites conducted by Ness City American Legion Post 152.

ELSIE F. CAMPBELL
BEAVER, Okla. -- Elsie Fay Campbell, 91, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, in Amarillo, Texas.
She was born Feb. 28, 1911, to John Lee and Opal Omega (Williams) Claybrook in Boyd, Okla.
She married Elmer Clois "Bud" Campbell June 4, 1927, in Boyd. He preceded her in death.
She attended school in the Boyd area.
She was a homemaker all her life.
She was a member of Christian Church, Senior Citizens and Rebekah's.
Survivors include two sons, Benton Clois Campbell, Amarillo, and James Thomas Campbell, Astoria, Ore.; two daughters, Sarah Louise Taylor, Beaver, and Gayle Marie Sykora, Amarillo; two brothers, John Lee Claybrook Jr., Arlington, Wash., and Ronald William Claybrook, Holtville, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Christian Church in Beaver with Mike Crow presiding.
Burial will be at Gray Cemetery in Bryan's Corner, Okla.

TURPIN, Okla. -- Jim Duerson, 52, died Sunday, March 2, 2003, at his home in Turpin.
