IRVING HILL
HOOKER, Okla. -- Irving Hill, 89, died Saturday, May 11, 2002, at his home in Hooker.
He was born Jan. 26, 1913, to Alex and Rosalie (Ehrlich) Hill in Lehigh.
He married Imogene Grounds June 14, 1935, in Hooker. She died Feb. 19, 2002.
He moved with his family to Hooker in 1917, and he attended country school south of Hooker.
He and his wife lived and farmed south of Hooker. They also had milk cows.
In 1939, they moved to their farm north of Hooker. They moved into the house that his wife designed in 1978.
He attended the Church of the Nazarene in Hooker.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Hill and wife, Elaine, and Bradley Hill, all of Hooker; one brother, Edwin Hill, Liberal; and three grandchildren, Garret Mark Hill, Hooker, Eric Irving Hill, Martinsville, Va., and Katy Hill, Seattle.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Adolph Hill and Alex Hill; and three sisters, Minnie Ferk, Sadie Blehm; and Rosalie Kreutziger.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Nazarene in Hooker with the Revs. Dr. David Hoffman and Jack Lowe presiding.
Burial will be at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker.
Memorials are suggested to the Church of the Nazarene Family Live Center Building Fund in care of Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.
CLARENCE WORTON
FORGAN, Okla. -- Clarence Worton, 77, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was a retired painter and a member of the Forgan Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Billy, of the home; three daughters, Belva Prochaska, Springfield, Mo., and Barbara Curl and Carol Bryer, both of Forgan; one brother, Fred Worton, Forgan; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. at the Forgan United Methodist Church with Jim Sutherland presiding.
Burial will be at the Forgan Cemetery, with Clark Funeral Service in Beaver, Okla., in charge of arrangements.
MICHAEL T. DUBOIS
FORGAN, Okla. -- Michael Thomas DuBois, 50, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, in Fredricksburg, Va.
He was an U.S. Air Force veteran and was stationed in Australia while in the service.
Survivors include his mother, Mickey Ratlief, Forgan; his wife, Doris, Fredricksburg; two sons, Aaron and Patrick, Fredricksburg; three daughters, Christy, Fredricksburg, Andrea and Jacqueline, Adelaide, Australia; two sisters, Nikki Jensen, Eldorado, and Carol Tedder, Forgan; and one granddaughter, Taylah, Adelaide.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mike DuBois.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Forgan with Jim Sutherland presiding.
Burial will be at the Forgan Cemetery under the arrangements of Clark Funeral Service in Beaver, Okla.
CURTIS COLVIN
BALKO, Okla. -- Curtis "Dale" Colvin, 40, died Friday, May 24, 2002, at St. Catherine's Hospital in Garden City.
He had been a resident of Garden City since 1997.
He attended the Baptist church.
Survivors include one brother, Dwayne Colvin, Hooker, Okla.; and two sisters, Kathleen Boyd, Tulsa, Okla., and Raynelle Hornbuckle, Amarillo, Texas.
Graveside services
will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Balko with John Goss presiding.
Clark Funeral Service in Beaver, Okla., is in charge of arrangements.
MILDRED F. DIETRICK
TURPIN, Okla. -- Mildred F. Dietrick, 86, Turpin, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born Feb. 1, 1916, to Albert and Pearl M. (Leonard) Stanford in Beaver County, Okla.
She married Clyde E. Ross in October 1937. He died in September 1962.
She married Ralph W. Dietrick Sept. 21, 1969, in Liberal. He survives.
She graduated from Turpin High School in 1935.
She raised two of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Turpin United Methodist Church in Turpin.
She was also a member of Sunflower Club and the Lucky 13 Club, both of Liberal.
Other survivors include one sister, Pauline Pirtle and husband, Ross, Beaver, Okla.; one step-son, Robert Dietrick and wife, Jerretta, Tyrone, Okla.; two step-daughters, Mary Ellen Dietrick, Amarillo, Texas, and Rowena Adams and husband, Ed, Liberal; five grandchildren, Ed Adams, Mark Adams, Clyde Adams, Daniel Adams and Robert Kitchens; two great-grandchildren, Dan Randall and Mary Lambert; and four step-grandchildren, Shawn Rice, Stanley Rice, Steve Rice and Scott Rice.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sisters; one daughter, Carolyn Kitchens; one granddaughter, Teresa Randall; and one step-grandson, James Dietrick.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Turpin United Methodist Church in Turpin with the Rev. Dianna Izquierdo presiding.
Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery in Liberal.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 8-11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.
The family suggests memorials to the Turpin United Methodist Church in care of Miller Mortuary, 908 N. Lincoln, Liberal, KS 67905.
RONALD C. DELAY
TURPIN, Okla. -- Ronald "Ron" Charles Delay, 40, Turpin, died Monday, June 2, 2002, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born Nov. 10, 1961, to Charles "Charlie" M. and Darlene J. Grover-Delay in Wichita.
He married Reneé M. Taylor Aug. 21, 1987. She survives.
He graduated from Liberal High School in Liberal in 1980 and then worked at National Carriers for 17 years.
He was a parts person for Kansas Truck Center in Liberal.
He coached Kids Inc. for many years, as well as Babe Ruth baseball.
He was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and Elk's Lodge No. 1947 in Liberal.
He was a member of the Turpin Booster Club and was instrumental in the establishment of Crossroads Center Inc., an organization working with handicapped children.
Other survivors include two sons, Ryan Delay and Charlie Delay, both of the home; two daughters, Trishia Delay, Turpin, and Zayr Delay, Wichita; his mother, Darlene Delay, Morrowville; one brother, Melvin R. "Bob" Delay and wife, LeAnn, Tyrone, Okla.; and three sisters, Pam Bennett and husband, Jim, Bellevue, Colo., Dixie Symons and husband, Bee, Ottawa, and Terri Ellis and husband, Jess, Liberal.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Liberal.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Turpin High School Gymnasium in Turpin with the Father Tony Judge presiding.
Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery in Liberal.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.

RAYMOND L. HAGEN
BALKO, Okla. -- Raymond Lewis "Ray" Hagen, 85, died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at the Beaver County Nursing Home in Beaver, Okla.
He had been a long-time resident of Beaver County.
He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Mada, of the home; one daughter, Connie Gand, Waretown, N.J.; one brother, Max Hagen; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Balko Apostolic Faith Church in Balko with Edwin Waterbury presiding and Jim Fox assisting.

HOOKER, Okla. -- Harold Krause, 68, died Monday, June 10, 2002, at his home in Hooker.
