PEGGY N. DANSBY
HOOKER, Okla. -- Peggy N. Dansby, 79, Hooker, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon, Okla.
She was born June 20, 1922, to Fred and Iva (Oliver) Ramay in Clarita, Okla.
She married Randall Duncan in 1939 in Hollis, Okla.
She married Jake Dansby May 31, 1961, in Ada, Okla. he died Oct. 21, 1995.
She attended rural school in Lahoma and Purvise Hill near Gould, Okla. She graduated from Gould High School in 1942.
She lived in various locations until 1955, when she moved to Hooker.
She was bookkeeper at Bollinger Chevrolet and later for Judd and Kilgore Chevrolet. She retired in 1969 when she began business as a salesperson for Kirby Vacuum.
Her hobbies included gardening, crocheting and cooking.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Duncan and wife, Viola, Laverne, Okla., and Bud Duncan and wife, Judy, Hooker; one daughter, Merriloy and Carmon Judd, Liberal; two sisters, Mildred Bertolino, Sacramento, Calif., and Elba Davidson, Springfield, Mo.; six grandchildren, Eric and Haley Duncan, Rhodena and Troy DeWitt, Kenny Judd, Troy and Lisa Judd, Chris and Ginny Duncan and Jamey and Sharon Duncan; and three great-grandchildren, Tel Ethen DeWitt, Brady Judd and Madison Judd.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Willard Ramay, Frederick Ramay and J.C. Ramay.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker with Neville Buchanan presiding.
CHARLES E. MCPHERSON
BEAVER, Okla. -- Charles Everett McPherson, 60, died Sunday, March 24, 2002, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce, Beaver; two sons, Gabriel Wilson, Boulder, Colo., and Lynn McPherson, El Reno, Okla.; nine daughters, Teresa Hook and Angie Stephens, both of Skiatook, Okla., Penny Smyth, Wahoo, Neb., Tammy Ewy, Hanson, Sherry Green, Carmen, Okla., Annette Steele, Hutchinson, Shanna Christensen, Kansas City, Kans., and Kay Dawne Morton, Beaver; his mother, Helen Cole, Beaver; and 30 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Beaver First Christian Church in Beaver with Mike Crow presiding.
Inurnment will follow at Beaver Pioneer Cemetery.
Clark Funeral Service in Beaver is in charge of arrangements.
JAMESON T. BECKER
BEAVER, Okla. -- Jameson Timothy Becker, 11, died Monday, April 1, 2002, in a dirt cave-in incident in Beaver County, Okla.
He was born Dec. 10, 1990, to Tim and Becky (Griffith) Becker in Oklahoma City.
He was a fifth-grade student in Beaver.
He was a member of the Beaver Presbyterian Church in Beaver.
Survivors include his parents, Beaver; two brothers, Andrew James Becker and Samuel Johann Sebastian Becker, both of the home; one sister, Erin Rebekah Becker, of the home; grandparents, Arlo G. and Joyce Becker, Enid, Okla.; great-aunt Carolyn Kellet, Enid; and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Beaver High School Auditorium with Bill Moore presiding.
Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver.
Memorials are suggested to the Beaver Schools Educational Scholarship Fund, which will be given to children of emergency response agencies, in care of Clark Funeral Services, P.O. Box 366, Beaver, OK 73932.
HESTER L. HILTON
BEAVER, Okla. -- Hester Lou Hilton, 72, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, in Carlinville, Ill.
She was born May 20, 1929, to Andrew Jackson and Claudine (Sluder) Phelps in Hedley, Texas.
She married J.P. Hilton March 9, 1948, in Sherman, Texas. He died May 10, 1977.
She graduated from Atoka High School.
She was a restaurant owner and waitress.
She attended the Beaver Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Rodger Hilton, Ulysses, and Jimmy Hilton, Beaver; one daughter, Mary Cox, Carlinville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Beaver Church of Christ with David Glascock presiding.
Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver.

EVA GREGG
ENID, Okla. -- Eva "Pauline" Gregg, 88, former Hugoton resident, died Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid.
She was born Oct. 23, 1913, to Nathan Evans and Lettie Lorena (Lunger) Cutter southwest of Covington, Okla.
She married Richard Lee Gregg Dec. 14, 1936, in Perry, Okla. He preceded her in death.
She graduated from Covington High School in 1934.
She was a homemaker.
She and her husband moved to Hugoton in June 1949. She moved to Enid in December 1997.
She was a member of the Covington Christian Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, Hugoton Rebekah Lodge No. 379, and the First Christian Church in Hugoton.
Survivors include one son, Neil Gregg, Breckinridge, Okla.; one daughter, Mary Jones, Odessa, Texas; two sisters, Nina Messenger, Hillsdale, Okla., and Alice Orrell, Longmont, Colo.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Anderson-Burris Chapel in Enid with the Rev. Floyd Westfall presiding.
Burial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton with the Rev. Jeff Aenk presiding.

DOROTHY M. COBB
TURPIN, Okla. -- Dorothy M. Cobb, 83, Turpin, died Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at Liberal Good Samaritan Center in Liberal.
She was born March 4, 1919, to Henry and Hasel (Sigersen) Doty in Vesta, Neb.
She married Lester M. Cobb April 24, 1978, in Beaver, Okla. He died July 27, 1986.
She moved to Liberal in 1959, where she worked as a cook and waitress for 23 years. She later moved to Tyrone, Okla., where she operated D&K Outlet for 10 years.
She moved to Turpin in 1999, and had been a resident of Liberal Good Samaritan Center for the past three years.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Starlin and wife, Sybil, Charlotte, S.C., and John Starlin and wife, Annette, Fresno, Calif.; two daughters, Joyce Willa Ray and husband, Kenneth, Elveita, Calif., and Karen Beck and husband, Bill, Turpin; two brothers, Elmer Doty, Ames, Neb., and LaVere Doty, Beatrice, Neb.; one sister, Marjorie Gharam, San Francisco; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; three sisters; one granddaughter, Penny Beck; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tyrone Cemetery in Tyrone with Dr. Ollie Kinser presiding.
Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to noon Monday at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to American Diabetes Association in care of Miller Mortuary, 908 N. Lincoln, Liberal, KS 67901.
ROBERT R. HILL
BEAVER, Okla. Robert R. "Bob" Hill, 86, died Sunday, April 14, 2002, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born Feb. 24, 1916, to Ralph L. and Nellie (Mansfield) Hill in Orlando, Okla.
He married Mildred Anderson July 24, 1935, in Liberal.
He married Fern E. (McDonald) Killough April 14, 1974, in Enid, Okla. She survives.
He grew up in the Turpin community and graduated from Turpin High School in 1934.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He worked for the railroad for several years before entering the service. Following his time in the service he began a 31-year career as a rural mail carrier for Turpin Route No. 2, and later for Route No. 1. He retired Jan. 29, 1979. He drove a school bus for Turpin Schools for many years.
He was a member of the American Legion in Hooker, Okla., and the National Rural Carriers Association. He was a former member of the IOOF.
Survivors include two sons, Leonard Hill and wife, Ginger, Liberal, and Walter Hill, Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, Dana Denise Adams and LuCinda Kathol, both of Wichita, Michael Earl Hill, Dallas, and Melissa Dawn Hill, New Windsor, M.D.; two great-grandchildren, Kennedie Ann Adams and Karsen Mae Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Miller Chapel in Liberal, with the Rev. Stanley Lehnert presiding.
Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until service time Thursday at Miller Mortuary.
