TULSA, Okla. -- Donna Jean Maxwell, 68, formerly of Liberal, died Sunday, March 3, 2002, at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa.
She was born Nov. 13, 1933, to Arthur and Gladys L. Fuller in Liberal.
She married Ronald Wares. He survives.
She then married Paul Maxwell. He preceded her in death.
She graduated from Liberal High School in 1949.
She moved from Liberal to southern California in 1969, where she lived until 1995. She then moved to Tulsa.
She attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Okla., and was active in the work of the ministry.
Survivors include one son, Terry Wares and wife, Mersa, Calcutta, India; four daughters, Melody Freie and husband, John, Muskogee, Okla., Jeanie Determann and husband, Don, Dodge City, Suzette Grimes, Topeka, and Betsy Jayne Foreman, Lakeport, Calif.; one step-son, Terry Maxwell and wife Ronda, Liberal; one step-daughter, Leslie Maxwell, Coto de Caza, Calif.; two brothers, Gary Fuller and wife, Maggie, Garden City, and Jimmy Fuller, Liberal; 13 grandchildren, Angela Henning, Alethea Steiner, Ronald Joseph Wares, Helena Wares, Desiree Maxwell, Landen Maxwell, Chelsee Maxwell, Michael Field Alberty, Josie Alberty, Nicholas Foreman, Seth Foreman, Kenneth Grimes and Chelsea Grimes; seven great-grandchildren, Shannon Henning, Ayla Henning, Kyra Henning, Taryn Henning, Ryliegh Henning, Jessica Steiner and Amaia Maxwell.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Rhema Church Chapel, 1025 W. Kenosha, in Broken Arrow.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Christian Life Center in Liberal.
Cremation has already taken place.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Christian Life Center, 623 N. Grant Ave., Liberal, KS 67901.
ROBERT B. CROSIER
OKMULGEE, Okla. -- Robert Bryan Crosier, 101, Okmulgee, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital in Okmulgee.
He was born Nov. 21, 1900, to Amos Elsey and Mattie Ophelia (Johnson) Crosier in Godley, Texas.
He married Anna Mae Powell. She died in February 1970.
He later married Oval Crosier. She died in 1989.
He was a farmer and worked as a custodian at public schools.
He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Okmulgee.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Crosier, Okmulgee, and James Crosier, Liberal; three daughters, Naomi Beard, Claremore, Okla., Ana Marie Nease, Denver, and Mary Lee Murray, Liberal; 14 grandchildren, Mitzi Tatowicz and Kelly Beard, both of Claremore, Twila Flora, Okmulgee, Charlotte Garske, Little Canada, Minn., Sandra Torres and Patty Nease, both of Denver, Kenny Andrews, Scott Crosier, Jim Crosier and Christy Lee, all of Liberal, Danny Andrews, Junction City, Mike Andrews, Garden City; Lora Murray and Donny Murray; 32 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Ronnie Crosier.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Church of the Nazarene in Okmulgee with the Rev. Dal Newberry presiding and the Rev. Marvin Buell assisting.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, Texas, with the Rev. Les Hall presiding.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.

HOOKER, Okla. -- Lou Ellen Carter, 55, Velma, Okla., died Friday, March 8, 2002, at Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Okla.
Funeral services
will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Hooker.
Burial will be at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker.
Roberts Brother Funeral Home in Hooker is in charge of arrangements.

HOOKER, Okla. -- Andrew "Andy" Kyle Hanson, 20, Hooker, died Thursday, March 7, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita from injuries sustained in a natural gas compressor explosion.
He was born Sept. 25, 1981, to Doug and Linda (Fox) Hanson at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.
He grew up in Hooker and attended Hooker schools. He graduated from Hooker High School in 2000.
He attended Southwest Kansas Technical School in Liberal, where he received his certification in diesel mechanics.
He worked as a diesel mechanic for Diamond Construction in Liberal. He then went to work for William's Natural Gas in 2001, and had just begun to work as a mechanic for Duke Energy.
He attended the Church of Christ.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing and skeet shooting.
Survivors include his wife, Tiffany, Hooker; one daughter, Bailee Love Hanson, Hooker; his parents, Hooker; and two sisters, Amy Hanson, Oklahoma City, and Angela Hanson, Hooker.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Christ in Hooker with Mr. Neville Buchanan presiding.
Burial will be at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker.

Connie Louise Schnabel, 43, formerly of Hooker, Okla., died Friday, March 8, 2002, at her home in Liberal as a result of a house fire.
She was born Dec. 30, 1958, to Roy and Louise (Kammerzell) Judd in Liberal.
She married Robert "Robby" Brixey in June 1976.
She married Paul Schnabel Nov. 12, 1983, in Hooker. He survives.
She attended school in Hooker and graduated from Hooker High School in 1977.
She moved from Hooker to Liberal in 1981.
She was a homemaker and secretary for Panhandle Eastern until she retired in the early 1990s.
She was a member of Morning Star United Methodist Church in Hough, Okla.
Other survivors include her parents, of rural Hooker; one daughter, Megan Dell Brixey, Granada, Colo.; two step-daughters, Doni Lynn Files and husband, Dana, Englewood, Colo., and Cari Janeen Brewer and
husband, Earl, Guymon, Okla.; two sisters, Linda Ward and husband, Carl, Branson, Mo., and Lori Kraft and husband, Rick, rural Hooker; four grandchildren, Mehkyiah Brandt, Dalton Imboden, Haleigh Nicole Brewer and Eryn Xaviere Brewer; special cousin, Jeri Nelson; nephews, Shannon Ward and Luke Kraft; and nieces, Wendy Ward, Chelsey Kraft and Sarah Kraft; and other family members.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Morning Star United Methodist Church in Hough with the Pastor Gary Shryock presiding.
Burial will be at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.

VELMA, Okla. -- Lou Ellen Carter, 55, a former Hooker, Okla. resident, died Friday, March 8, 2002, at Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Okla.
She was born July 23, 1946, in Liberal, to Chauncey and Maud (Burdge) Depuy.
She married Gary Carter Nov. 27, 1966, in Gulf Port, Miss. He survives.
She grew up and attended school in Hooker, graduating from Hooker High School in 1964.
She entered the United States Navy Aug. 27, 1965. She was stationed in Cambridge, Md., and received her honorable discharge Oct. 6, 1967. It was while in the Navy that she met and married her husband.
She and her husband made their home in Hooker until 1990, when they moved to Velma.
She was a member of the Hooker First Baptist Church, where she was the custodian for many years.
She coached girls softball for many summers, and her hobbies included bowling.
Other survivors include one son, John Wayne Carter; one daughter, Crystal Kay Scott and husband, Joe, Velma; and one grandson, Jared Scott, all of Velma; two brothers, Paul Depuy and wife, Doretta, Guymon, and Ray Depuy and wife, Lois, Hooker.
Funeral services
will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Hooker, with the Rev. Chuck Samples presiding.
Burial will be at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker.

BILLIE W. REYNOLDS
BEAVER, Okla. -- Billie Wayne "Bill" Reynolds, 73, died Saturday, March 9, 2002, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He married Mary H. "Jackie" Kachel in 1951. She survives.
He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a lifetime resident of Beaver.
Other survivors include one son, Steven Reynolds, Edmond; one daughter, Vickie Starr, Beaver; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services
will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Beaver Pioneer Cemetery, with Mike Crow presiding.
Services will be under the direction of Clark Funeral Service in Beaver.

HOOKER, Okla. -- Howard Depuy, 79, Scottsbluff, Neb., died Monday, March 11, 2002, at Beverly Health Care in Scottsbluff.
