BEULAH M. "BEA" TATE
WOODWARD, Okla. -- Beulah Marie "Bea" Tate, 71, of Mooreland, Okla., died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at Woodward Hospital and Health Center.
She was born March 11, 1930, to Albert E. and Ruth (Gurnesy) Gebhart on the family homestead in Tangier, Okla.
She married Carl R. Tate in Northville, Mich. He survives.
She has been a resident of Walled Lake, Mich., Wichita, Hutchinson and Liberal.
She had lived in Mooreland for the past 26 years.
She attended nursing school and worked as a nurse in Northville.
She retired from nursing and worked as a dispatcher for answering services in Liberal and Woodward.
She also did volunteer work at Mooreland Grade School.
Her hobbies include reading,
playing bingo and card games, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Other survivors include two sons, Jim Tate and wife, Debbie, Mooreland, and Ronnie Tate and wife, Monica, Enid, Okla.; four daughters, Ruth Pinchot and husband, Harold, Plant City, Fla., Louise Lones, Ypsilanti, Mich., Sherri "Gail" Barkai and husband, Jerry, Dearborn Heights, Mich., and Barbara Carter and husband, Mike, Mooreland; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; step-mother, Ruth Gebhart, Medford, Ore.; and numerous nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Walter Gebhart; and two grandchildren, Kayla Marie Carter and Ronnie William Tate.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Mooreland with the Rev. Clyde Irving presiding.
A private graveside service will follow at the Mooreland Cemetery in Mooreland.
Billings Funeral Home in Woodward is in charge of arrangements.
GLADYS E. HOWE
BEAVER, Okla. -- Gladys Ethel Howe, 94, died Monday, April 23, 2001, at the Beaver County Memorial Hospital in Beaver.
She was born July 24, 1906, to Otto and May (Beebe) Barby in No Mans Land, Oklahoma Territory.
She married Beryl Howe Nov. 27, 1924, in Knowles, Okla. He died Oct. 12, 1968.
She had been a lifetime resident of Beaver County and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Christian Church for more than 80 years.
She was also a member of Eastern Star, the Beaver County Historical Society and several other organizations.
Survivors include one son, Roy Howe, Wichita; one daughter, Lena May Allen, Arapahoe, Colo.; six grandchildren eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several other relatives.
Funeral services
will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Beaver First
Christian Church with Paul Sisson and Bob Blazek presiding.
Burial will be at the Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver under the direction of Clark Funeral Service in Beaver.
CHRISTROPHER A. WILSON
LAVERNE, Okla. -- Christropher Alan Wilkinson, 15, died Tuesday, April 24, 2001, from injuries he sustained in a a motor vehicle accident.
He was born July 13, 1985, to Sammy and Theresa Wilkinson in Shattuck, Okla.
He was an eighth grade student in the Laverne School system.
Survivors include his parents of the home; two brothers, Samuel Joe Wilkinson and Nichlos Wilkinson, both of the family home; two sisters, Ashley and Mandy Wilkinson, both of the family home; grandparents, William and Nelda Bump, Dallas, Texas, Franky and Elaine Johns, Sharon, Okla., and Jay Wilkinson, Woodward, Okla.; great-grandparents, Al and Georgia Jacobs, Laverne; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shackelford Hall, Laverne Schools, with the Rev. Wes Peterman presiding.
Burial will be at the Laverne Cemetery in Laverne under the direction of Clark Funeral Service in Beaver.
ALMA EVELYN TURNER
TYRONE, Okla. -- Alma Evelyn Turner, 86, died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at her home in Tyrone.
She was born Jan. 22, 1915, to Alonzo and Lois (Bray) Randolph in Cooksville, Tenn.
She moved with her family from Tennessee to the Oklahoma Panhandle in 1923.
She married Harold Turner Dec. 1, 1933, in Guymon, Okla. He survives.
She was a longtime Tyrone resident.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Hooker Church of Christ.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge for more than 25 years.
Survivors also include one son, Bill Turner and wife, Barbara, Washington; six grandchildren, Evelyn Keever and husband, David, Bartlesville, Okla., Loretta Caldwell, Springfield, Mo., Janett Bright and husband, Howard, and Kenneth Turner and wife, Tina, all of Tyrone, John Turner, and Shelley Roberts and husband, Andrew, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Jay Randolph and wife, Ione, Liberal; and nine great grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hooker Church of Christ with Neville Buchanan presiding.
Burial will be at the Tyrone Cemetery in Tyrone.
The family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor's choice in care of Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 745, Hooker OK 73945.
RUBY V. PRIEST
OKLAHOMA CITY Ruby V. Priest, 89, died Thursday, April 5, 2001, in Oklahoma City.
She was born Dec. 8, 1911, to John Thomas and Della Mae (Garrett) Smith in Lula, Okla.
She married Hubert T. Priest. He died in 1986.
She and her husband were both school teachers, and she taught public school in Lula, Centrahoma, Okla. and Coalgate, Okla.
She taught in Liberal prior to her retirement.
Survivors include one brother, Jerry Smith, Moore, Okla.; and two sisters, Margie King, Longview, Texas, and Ann Key, Muskogee, Okla.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel, in Oklahoma City.
Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Oklahoma City.

BRANDEN M. ALBERSON
TYRONE, Okla. -- Branden Matthew Alberson, infant son of Brenda Fancher and Steven Albersen, was stillborn Monday, April 2, 2001, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
Other survivors include one brother, Billy Fancher, Fairview,
Okla.; grandparents Gail Alberson, Blackwell, Okla.; and Stephanie Findley, Tyrone, Okla.; and great-grandparents Martha Matthew, Stonewall, Okla.; and Larry and Wanda Chapman, Gage, Okla.
Graveside services
will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at High Point Cemetery in Buffalo, Okla., with Dr. Ollie Kinser presiding.
Miller Mortuary in Liberal and Myatt Funeral Home in Buffalo are in charge of funeral arrangements.
NAOMI N. MILLER
GUYMON, Okla. -- Naomi N. Miller, 62, of Evans, Colo., formerly of Guymon, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Bonell Good Samaritan Center in Greeley, Colo.
She was born Sept. 25, 1938, to Arthur and Opal (Floyd) Holcomb in Elkhart.
She married George Miller April 7, 1956, in Rolla. He survives.
She attended school in Rolla and graduated in 1956.
She moved from Forgan, Okla., to Guymon in 1967. In 1977, she moved to Brighton, Colo., and to Evans in 1994.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Guymon.
Other survivors include her mother, of Liberal; two sons,
Donnie Miller and wife, Anita, Greeley, and John Miller and wife, Jane, Trinidad, Colo.; one daughter, Melanie Smith and husband, Bob, Fort Logan, Colo.; two brothers, Gene Holcomb, Hugoton, and Duane Holcomb, Buena Vista, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Ramona Denton; and one grandson, Chad William Miller.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Guymon with the Rev. James Wiggin presiding.
Burial will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the Rolla Cemetery in Rolla.
The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home in Guymon.
