LLOYD KUYKENDALL
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Okla. -- Lloyd Kuykendall, 83, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at his home in Mountain View.
He was born Jan. 3, 1917, to Forrest Dolph and Harriet (Eoffe) Kuykendall in Beaver County, Okla.
He married Violet McCaughtry Feb. 3, 1945 in Beaver, Okla. She died Nov. 4, 2000.
He moved from Carnegie, Okla. to Mountain View in 1968.
He was a deacon and elder at the First Christian Church in Carnegie and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include one son, Forrest Kuykendall and wife, Beth, Mathis, Texas; two daughters, Joyce Vick and husband, Tom, Beaverton, Ore., and Etta Jaderborg and husband, Larry, Enterprise; three grandchildren, Jennifer Topliff and husband, Adam, Hanover, Janice Wallace and husband, Mike, Milwaukie, Ore., and Michael Vick and wife, Tammy, Beaverton; five great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Aaron Wallace, Nathan, Tyler and Cheyann Vick; one brother, Merrell Kuykendall, Turpin, Okla.; and one sister, Ruby Scheuchzer, Turpin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Mountain View with the Rev. Jack Brown presiding.
Burial was at the Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain View under the direction of Hackney-Gish Funeral Home in Mountain View.
VIOLET KUYKENDALL
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Okla. -- Violet Kuykendall, 75, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at her home in Mountain View.
She was born Sept. 16, 1925, to George and Lucy (Tolle) McCaughtry in Booker, Okla.
She married Lloyd Kuykendall Feb. 3, 1945 in Beaver, Okla. He died Nov. 4, 2000.
She was a resident of Mountain view since 1968, after moving from Carnegie, Okla., where she had lived from 1958-1968.
She was a member of the First Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary, both in Carnegie.
Survivors include one son, Forrest Kuykendall and wife, Beth, Mathis, Texas; one daughter, Etta Jaderborg and husband, Larry, Enterprise; one granddaughter, Jennifer Topliff and husband, Adam, Hanover; and two brothers, Bob Vulgarmore, Denham Springs, La., and Elmer McCaughtry, Grand Junction, Colo.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Mountain View with the Rev. Jack Brown presiding.
Burial was at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain View under the direction of Hackney-Gish Funeral Home in Mountain View.
PABLO MORALES
TYRONE, Okla. -- Pablo Morales, 51, Tyrone, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born July 1, 1949, to Domingo and Inez (Gomez) Morales in Chihuahua Mexico.
He married Carmen Solano Dec. 23, 1972. She survives.
He moved to Tyrone in June 2000 from Los Angeles.
He was employed by Seaboard Farms.
Other survivors include one son, Pablo Morales, Rifle, Colo.; four daughters, Kaarle Morales, Yesenia Morales and Janet Morales, all of Mexico, and Ruby Peralpa, Tyrone; three brothers, Armando Morales, Antonio Morales and Fernando Morales; three sisters, Estenia, Edenteria and Irene; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial will be conducted later at Cuauhtemoc Chihuahua, Mexico.
Miller Mortuary in Liberal is in charge of local arrangements.
FRANCES M. JOHNSON
MEDFORD, Okla. -- Frances M. Johnson, 84, mother of Ann Barker, Liberal, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal after a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 5, 1916, to H. Boaz and Emma (Carr) Hamilton in Baca County, Colo.
She married Rolland H. Johnson May 23, 1942, in Albuquerque, N.M. He died Feb. 17, 2000.
She graduated from high school in Elkhart in 1933 as valedictorian. After graduation, she worked at the Morton County courthouse in Richfield.
She moved to Medford in the late 1930's and was employed by the Grant County court clerk's office. In 1955, she went to work for Grant County Abstract Company.
Later, she was Deputy County Clerk and also published the Grant County Record Report, a legal publication, until her retirement in 1989.
She was a resident of Medford until her death.
She was baptized in the Disciples of Christ Church in Elkhart as a young girl.
Survivors include one daughter, Ann Barker and husband, Ron, Liberal; three sons, Robert W. Johnson, Oklahoma City, Rolland B. Johnson and wife, Peggy, Yukon, Okla., and Roger D. Johnson and wife, Pam, Edmond, Okla.; three grandchildren, Vickie Rice and husband, Michael, Liberal, Matt Crawford and wife, Wendy of Edmond, and Michael Johnson and wife, Alisha, Yukon; two brothers, Lester Hamilton and wife, Betty, Medford, and Dean Hamilton, Ft. Lyon, Colo.; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dale Hamilton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hills-Ely Funeral Chapel in Medford with the Rev. Bobby Smith presiding.
Burial will follow in Rosemund Cemetery in Medford.

CLYDE M. HESTER
GUYMON, Okla. -- Clyde Monroe Hester, 83, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon.
He was born Nov. 29, 1916, to Jesse and Pearl (Bailey) Hester in Gate, Okla.
He married Grace Koschke Jan. 21, 1941, in Beaver, Okla. She survives.
He graduated from Gate High School in 1937.
During the 1930's, he was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps.
He was a United States Army World War II veteran and had worked as a depot agent for MKT Railroad for more than 36 years.
He retired in 1979 and moved from Wichita Falls, Texas, to Guymon, where he resided until his death.
He was a member of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church in Guymon and the Masonic Lodge, AF&AM No. 335, where he served as Worshipful Master in both Guymon and Laverne, Okla.
He was also a member of Guymon OES No. 419 in Guymon.
Other survivors include one daughter, Eva Archuleta and husband, Ed, El Paso, Texas; one son, Roger Hester and wife, Sharyn, Beaver, Okla.; one brother, Glenn Hester, Marysville, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Chad Hester, Colby Hester, Kylar Hester, Kayla Hester Herd, Troy Archuleta, Ed Archuleta Jr. and Tara Archuleta Achen; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Opal Hester Price and Addie Hester Roush; two brothers, Ralph Hester and Jack Hester; and two infant grandchildren, Thad Hester and Dustin Archuleta.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Victory Memorial United Methodist Church in Guymon with the Rev. Mike Chaffin presiding.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Gate Cemetery in Gate.

MAUDE A. JACOBS
Maude Alma Jacobs, 89, of Hooker, Okla., died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at the Good Samaritan Center in Liberal.
She was born May 9, 1911, to William and Lula (Ingalls) Jackson in Elmdale.
The family moved to the Hardesty, Okla., and Adams, Okla., area where she attended school.
She married Floyd Jacobs Jan. 22, 1926, in Hooker. He died Feb. 20, 1991.
She had lived in Guymon, Okla. and Clayton, N.M. before moving to Hooker in 1956.
Her hobbies included sewing and growing flowers in her yard.
Survivors include two daughters, Norma Minter and husband, Ervin, Hooker, and Ila Mae Ridge and husband, Lowell, Hooks, Texas; two brothers, Everett Jackson and wife, Martha, Kim, Colo., and Robert Jackson, LaJuanta, Colo.; two sisters, Grace Christianson, LaJuanta, and Beulah Like and husband, Joe, New Mexico; 15 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bill Jacobs; two daughters, Patsy Minter and Leora Holland; and two brothers, Shorty Jackson and Billy Joe Jackson.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker with the Brother Ron Mimms presiding.

JOHN E. KERR
OKLAHOMA CITY -- John E. Kerr, 91, formerly of Hooker, Okla., died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.
He was born July 20, 1909, to Timothy and Maude Lil Kerr in Croft.
He married Dorothea Della Harper May 16, 1931, in Moscow. She survives.
He graduated from high school in 1929 from Coats and attended Kansas State University, where he became a member of Farmhouse Fraternity.
In 1931, he began a long farming career near Hooker.
He served as Texas County Commissioner for over 25 years.
He was a member of the Lion's Club and the Chamber of Commerce, both of Hooker. He was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner.
He was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Hooker and served on the board for many years.
Other survivors include two daughters, Janice Orr and husband, Kenneth, Edmond, Okla., and Prudence Bone and husband, Duane, Springfield, Mo.; one son, Larry Kerr and wife, Jody, Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, Melissa Orr Hoffman, Monrovia, Calif., John Orr, Littleton, Colo., Kendall Wilhelmi, Bristow, Va., Leslie Patridge, Highland's Ranch, Colo., Margaret Barnard, Oklahoma City, Jeff Ivens and Chris Ivens, both of Seattle; two step-grandchildren, Lori Anthony and Hal Moffett, both of Austin, Texas; ten great grandchildren, Taryn, Timothy and Mitchell Hoffman, Kelsey and Keilea Orr, Stephanie and Marshall Wilhelmi, Alex and Andy Barnard and Hannah Patridge; and two sisters, Nellie Carveth, Butte, Mont., and Hazel Hess, Ellis.
He was preceded in death by six siblings.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Hooker with the Rev. Kim Domnick presiding.
Burial will be at the Hooker Cemetery in Hooker.
