JOHN L. SCHULTZ
ENID, Okla. -- John L. Schultz, 78, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at the Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid following a short illness.
He was born April 15, 1922, to Fred and Lena (Thomas) Schultz in Ringwood, Okla.
He married Mildred Boese April 14, 1946, in Turpin, Okla. She survives.
He and his wife lived in Turpin where he farmed until 1991, when they moved to Liberal. They moved to Enid in September of 1999.
He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Liberal, where he served as as a deacon and a Sunday school teacher.
He served as a board member of the Child Evangelism and the Youth for Christ in Liberal. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Enid, where he also served as a Sunday school teacher.
Other survivors include one son, Roger Schultz and wife, Rhoda, Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Dorene Flaming and husband, Lawayne, Wylie, Texas, and Rhonda Olsen and husband, Gary, Jenks, Okla.; four grandchildren, Ross Schultz, Roy Schultz, Aaron Flaming and Karissa Flaming; and a half-brother, Louis Johnson, Enid.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Rex; two brothers; and six sisters.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Enid with the Rev. Keith Miller and Shorty Unruh presiding.
Burial will follow at the West New Hopedale Cemetery in Ringwood.
Memorials are suggested to the Oklahoma Bible Academy Building Fund in care of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, P.O. Box 3501, Enid, OK 73702.
ALLAN D. LITTELL
GUYMON, Okla. -- Allan Drew Littell, 64, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at his home in rural Rolla.
He was born Aug. 27, 1936, to Weldon Hudson and Laura Ellen (Drew) Littell in Rolla.
He married Frances DeJuan Ille Jan. 27, 1961, in Guymon. She survives.
He attended the Rolla school system, graduating with the class of 1955. He attended Kansas University. He attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University where he graduated with a bachelor's of science degree in 1962.
He served in the United States Army.
He had been a resident of Elkhart where he was employed with the Anadarko Petroleum Corp., from 1964 until 1974. He moved to the farm located south of Rolla and was engaged in farming at the time of his death.
Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Viola Ille, Hugoton; two sons, Mark Littell and wife, Jammie, Arkansas City, and David Allen Littell and wife, Brandy, Lakin; one daughter, Anita Sutton and husband, Todd, Hugoton; five grandchildren, Hyatt and Yates Sutton, and Zane, Zack and Zayden Littell; one soon to be grandson, Carson Littell; four brothers, Dr. Raymond Littell and wife, Sue, Gainesville, Fla., Dr. James Littell and wife, Nancy, Augusta, Dean Littell and wife, Suzanne, Lansing, and Dan Littell and wife, Laura, Naperville, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rolla United Methodist Church in Rolla with the Rev. Marcus Light presiding.
Burial will be at the Rolla Cemetery.

GORDON L. NELSEN
ENID, Okla. -- Gordon L. Nelsen, 99, a former Liberal resident, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid.
Funeral services
are pending and will be announced by Kitch Funeral Home in Liberal.
VIRGINIA L. NORVELL
TULSA, Okla. -- Virginia Lee Norvell, 69, mother of Arra Bushaw, Liberal, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at her home in Tulsa.
She was born June 12, 1931, to K.V. and Dorothy (King) Howard in Winfield.
She married David Norvell Oct. 2, 1955, in Clayton, N.M. He survives.
She was a member of the Lakeview Heights Baptist Church in Tulsa, where she was the choir director and served as the church secretary and treasurer.
She was a past member of Eastern Star and belonged to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 557, both in Tulsa.
Her hobbies included knitting.
Other survivors include three sons, James Stevens and wife, Cindy, Dallas, Timothy Stevens and wife, Diana, Tulsa, and Ross Norvell and wife, Jackie, Oklahoma City; one daughter, Arra Bushaw and husband, James, Liberal; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeview Heights Baptist Church in Tulsa with the Rev. Charles Edwards presiding.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa.

GERALD M. JONES
BEAVER, Okla. -- Gerald Marion "Jerry" Jones, 59, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at his home in Beaver.
He was born Aug. 31, 1941, to Robert Martin and Glendena (Smith) Jones in Enid, Okla.
He married Katheryn Sue Neihart Oct. 2, 1967, in Dalhart, Texas. She survives.
He graduated from Forgan, Okla., High School in 1959.
He was employed by the Katy Railroad for several years in Forgan before becoming involved in oil and gas exploration and construction. His career took him to the oilfields of Brazil and Australia, as well as to Alaska and other U.S. states.
He was employed by Hardberger and Smylie Oilfield Construction in Beaver at the time of his death.
His hobbies included raising quarter horses and paint horses.
Other survivors include one daughter, Tina Robb, Wichita, and her friend, John Weimer, Alva, Okla.; one son, Boyd Jones and wife, Lisa, Beaver; his mother and step-father, Woodrow and Glendena Blosser, Woodward, Okla., two brothers, Bob Jones and wife, Charlotte, Fairmont, Okla., and Charles Jones and wife, Norma, Sharon, Okla.; two step-brothers, Randy Blosser, Enid, Okla., and Ken Blosser and wife, Kay, Scottsdale, Ariz.; one sister, Glenda Bavido and husband, Jack, Woodward; one step-sister, J.B. Blosser Bittner and husband, Marshall, Woodward; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Neihart, Vernal, Utah, and Ronnie Neihart and wife, Cathy, North Carolina; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1951 and a step-brother, Ronnie Blosser, in 1999.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church in Beaver with Lynn Gregory and Tracy Morrison presiding.
Burial will be at Overton Cemetery in Beaver.

HOOKER, Okla. -- William W. Whelpley Sr., 79, of Vancouver, Wash., former Hooker resident, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2000, in Portland, Ore.

LYLA M. HASKELL
BEAVER, Okla. -- Lyla Mildred (Hollensbe) Haskell, 80, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at Baptist St. Anthony Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.
She was born April 23, 1920, to Clarence and Elsie Cora (Wells) Hollensbe in Knowles, Okla.
She married Vick Haskell Dec. 23, 1936. He preceded her in death.
She was a lifetime resident of Beaver County, Okla. She was a retired businesswoman, having owned and operated Frock and Bonnet Dress Shop in Beaver for 16 years.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, the PEO, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the DAR, all of Beaver.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Lemons, White Deer, Texas, and Vesta Patee, Wichita Falls, Texas; one brother, Harold Hollensbe, Oklahoma City; one sister, Gwen Mulanax, Fargo, Okla.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and an infant sister.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Beaver with the Rev. Roger Neff presiding.
Burial will be at Laverne Memorial Cemetery in Laverne, Okla. under the direction of Clark Funeral Service in Beaver.

MAGGIE E. BROADFOOT
WOODWARD, Okla. -- Maggie Eunice (Durham) Broadfoot, 82, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at Integrated Health Services in Great Bend.
She was born March 22, 1918, to Ruffas Shaw and Maggie Meldora (Hutson) Durham near Forgan, Okla.
She married Roy Ellsworth Broadfoot March 19, 1935, in Liberal. He died in 1998.
She was a homemaker and had lived in Beaver, Okla., Liberal, Woodward, 36 years in Fargo, Okla. and the last three years in Great Bend.
Survivors include four sons, Karl Broadfoot, Liberal, Danny Broadfoot, Garden City, Ronnie Broadfoot, Belleville, Ill., and Troy Broadfoot, Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Sandy Dayton, Great Bend and Nancy Elliott, Stillwater, Okla.; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three children, Margaret Ann, Maybelle Sue and Benny Max; three sisters, Lily May (Durham) Walton, Jewel Gretchen (Durham) Wooldridge and Elsie Jane (Durham) Hendershot; and two brothers, John David Durham and George Washington Durham.
Graveside services
will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fargo Cemetery in Fargo with the Rev. Olin Payton presiding.
