Bonnie Louise Dodd
Age 82, Lawton - Graveside service will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Hainds Laird, Chaplain of Indian Territory Home Health & Hospice, Lawton, officiating.
Mrs. Dodd died Sunday at her home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home.
She was born December 12, 1922 in Apache, Oklahoma to Henry and Cynthia Lucinda (Ridgeway) Rinker. She married Harland Dodd on May 3, 1942 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He died January 24, 2001. She was a Cosmetologist and a homemaker.
Survivors include: Son Harland Dodd, Jr. and his wife LeAnn of Rochester, MN, Daughter Patty Parker and her husband Jim of Lawton, OK, 4 Grandchildren, Shannon Clements and her husband Bill of Mansfield, TX, Scott Parker and his wife Mari of Parker, CO, Bucky Dodd and his wife Alicia of Oklahoma City, OK and Michael Dodd of Rochester, MN. 3 Great Grandchildren, Zachary Clements, Tanner Clements and Ryan Parker. Niece, Donna Carothers and her husband Ricky of Indiahoma, OK, 2 Nephews Rocky Simpson and his wife Cindy of Stafford, VA and Val Gene Simpson of Lawton, OK. 5 Great Nephews, Dee Carothers and wife Heather, Trey Carothers and wife Heather, Kyle Carothers, Bret Simpson and Bobby Simpson. Great Niece Lindsey Simpson.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Sondra Lucinda Hamilton, 4 brothers- George, Ralph, Paul and Arthur and 5 sisters-Eunice, Viola, Bertha, Bernice and Naomi.

William Blackstone McCoy, Jr.
Age 84, Hulen - Funeral services
will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Hulen United Methodist Church with Rev. David Jones, pastor, officiating.
Mr. McCoy died Monday in Lawton.
Burial will be in the Letitia Cemetery, east of Lawton, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.
He was born September 24, 1921 in Hulen, Oklahoma, to William Blackstone and Edna Wright McCoy. He attended school at Hulen through the eighth grade and graduated from Walters High School in 1939.
He was a longtime farmer in the Hulen community. He served on the Flood Control and Soil Conservation Boards and was a lifetime member of the Hulen United Methodist Church where he had taught Sunday school for many years as well as served as superintendent. He was involved in grounds maintenance and at the age of 80 he was involved in the construction of the new fellowship hall.
He married Annie Ruth Ketels on July 30, 1942 at Hulen. Together they traveled the United State extensively, from Niagara Falls to California and most places in between.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters and a son in law, Anita Kaye and Mike Callaway, Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Susan Gail Fooshee, Lawton; three sons and daughters in law, William B. “Mac” McCoy, III and Sally, Dallas, Texas; Terry H. and Peggy McCoy, Duncan, Oklahoma, and James L. and Karen McCoy, Lawton; nine grandchildren, Kimberly and Philip Summe, New York, New York, Sari´ McCoy, Dallas, Texas, Terry (JR) McCoy, Jr. and Dana, Little Rock, Arkansas, Nick and Becky Callaway, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kaili and Chad Dainty, Nashville, Tennessee, Kacy Crow, Lawton, Oklahoma, Adam Fuller, Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Austin McCoy and Jessica Crow, both of Lawton; four great grandchildren, Isabella Sophia and Charlotte Josephine Summe, Gage Blackstone McCoy and Sydney Renee Callaway.
Two sisters, Bonnie Nadean Stone and Mary Louise Williams, preceded him in death.
Paul C. Watkins

He was born on July 2, 1959 in Boone, Iowa to Dr. Peter and Donna (Hermanson) Watkins. He grew up in Iowa. He married Leonor “Lea” David in Lawton on August 14, 1997. He worked as a Fish Technician at the Medicine Park Fish Hatchery for the Oklahoma State Department of Wildlife.
Survivors include his wife of the home; his parents, Dr. Peter and Donna Watkins of Elkader, Iowa; a brother and sister-in-law, Douglas Watkins and Sue of Minnesota; a sister, Ruth Watkins of Illinois; a niece, Hannah Watkins; and a nephew, Rafe Watkins.

MSG (Retired) Duane M. Sandy
Age 69, Lawton, Oklahoma - Funeral services
will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 17, 2006 in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Chaplain (MAJ) Terrence Walsh, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, officiating.
Sergeant Sandy died Thursday in a local care center after a lengthy illness.
Entombment with full military honors will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.
He was born on August 13, 1936 in Stanchfield, Minnesota to Marvin and Rose (Larson) Sandy. He served more than 27 years in the United States Army and fought during the Vietnam War. He worked mainly in Artillery and Aviation and was primarily stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He served a total of seven tours to Germany, Korea, Vietnam and Panama. He married Anna Kordick in Schwabisch Gmund, Germany on September 22, 1961. Sergeant Sandy retired from the US Army on September 30, 1986. He received numerous medals including the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with seven battle stars, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (9th Award), Presidential Unit Citation (Army), Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Aircraft Crewmember Badge, Senior Aircraft Crewman Badge, four overseas service ribbons, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Meritorious Service Medal, Expert/Sharpshooter (M1) and Marksman (Rifle M-16, Rifle M-14). After his retirement, he owned and operated a lawn mowing and landscaping service for 15 years. He was a member of the VFW #5263 and the DAV and was a Christian.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Karin Marquez of Tustin, California; three sons, Michael Sandy of Laguna Hills, California, Kenneth Sandy and his wife, Becky, of Stacy, Minnesota, and Steve Sandy of Grand Saline, Texas; six grandchildren, Christine Earl and her husband, Michael, of Wood Village, Oregon, Garnett Sanders, II of Portland, Oregon, John and Joshua Sandy, both of Stacy, Minnesota, and Preston and Kayley Sandy, both of Grand Saline, Texas; a great grandson, Bobby Lee Earl; a brother, Robert Sandy and his wife, Mary, of St. Francis, Minnesota; an aunt, Vickie Pearson of Stanchfield, Minnesota; two sisters-in-law, Mathilde Wells and her husband, Shirley, of Lawton, Oklahoma and Luise Stiefel and her husband, Gerald, of Lawton, Oklahoma; and many other family and friends.
His parents and a sister, Darlene Becklin, preceded him in death.
Ursula I. Teal
Age 82, Lawton - Services will be at 1:30 PM Thursday, at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chris Austin, Lighthouse Baptist Church officiating.
Mrs. Teal died Sunday, August 20, 2006 in her home.
Burial will be in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill.
She was born October 7, 1923 in Konigsberg, Germany to Erich and Anna Marie (Stutzky) Schwedersky. She married Charels E. Teal on October 2, 1948 in Berlin, Germany.
Ursula Teal was loved so much by her family and many friends. Her life was spent helping others. She will stay forever in our hearts. Mrs. Teal was a wonderful Christian woman and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, of the home, a daughter; Linda Carpenter, Lawton, a son; Frank Teal, Las Cruces, New Mexico, three grandchildren; Bryan Teal, Las Cruces, Tricia Teal, San Diego, California, and Tiffany Sweeden and her husband John, Germany, and three great grandchildren; Haleigh, Lindsey, and John, Jr., Sweeden.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Mozella Rose Daley
Age 64, Lawton - Funeral services
will be at 10:30 am Wednesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Harley Davidson, Minister of Western Hills Church of Christ officiating.
Mrs. Daley died Saturday, September 23 at her home following a short illness.
Burial will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.
She was born October 8, 1941 in Lawton to Granville V. and Annie Ellen (Cothern) Boucher. She attended school at Lawton Central. She married Albert Daley on June 9, 1972 in Lawton. She was the Homemaker of a 22 year veteran of the United States Army. She served many military units with AL and her awards include The Artillery Order of Molly Pitcher. She called Lawton home all of her life and was the First President of the Retired Services Personnel Association Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband of the home, her mother Annie Boucher, son Douglas and his wife Sandy Ferguson, and son Jeffery Ferguson all of Lawton, daughter Melissa and her husband David Rodriguez of McKinney, TX, step-daughters Detta Lovelace of Winfield, MO, and Debra and her husband Ronald Bicker of Troy, MO, two sisters and brother-in-laws, Jim and Kay Glasgow of Wichita Falls, TX and Richard and Janie Holdbrook of Burkburnett, TX. She is also survived by a brother Tommy Boucher of Lawton, ten grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, one great-grandson and one step-great-grandson, many special friends and one very special friend.
She was preceded in death by her father, three brothers and a son, Richard Scott Ferguson.

SFC (Retired) Edgar Ray “Ed” Harrison
Age 75, Lawton - Services will be 1:30 PM Saturday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Les Banks, Chaplain, Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma, officiating.
Sergeant Harrison died Tuesday at his home.
Burial with military honors will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
He was born on December 28, 1930 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Frank Jack and Dovie (Barrett) Harrison. He attended schools in Friendship, Oklahoma and Brentwood, California. He joined the US Army at the age of 17 and served 21 years, before his retirement in 1969. His military career included tours in Fort Meade, Maryland, Japan, Fort Tilden, New York, Fort Sill, two tours in Germany and one combat tour in Vietnam. Among his many military commendations are the Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman’s Badge and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He married Mary Ellen Miller in Linthicum Heights, Maryland on December 3, 1949.
His civilian career consisted of 22 years with the United States Postal Service in Lawton. He served as General President of the Lawton area local APWU for seven years. After his retirement from the Postal Service in 1990, he worked in cattle ranching where he raised rodeo stock.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonita Gallen and John of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Rosemary Rice and Lynn of Antlers, Oklahoma; four grandsons, Michael Tannery of Lawton, Jonathan Gallen of Huntsville, Texas, Jeremy Gallen of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Christopher Gallen of Ballston Spa, New York; a granddaughter, Natalie Orlowski and her husband, Jason, of Marble Falls, Texas; a great granddaughter, Sydney Orlowski of Marble Falls, Texas; two sisters, Frankie Johnson of Eufaula, Oklahoma and Bernice Gribble of Checotah, Oklahoma; and a brother, Billie Harrison of Ada, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Kennith Harrison, and two older brothers who died in infancy.
