LUCILLE B. ROWE
BEAVER, Okla. -- Lucille Bridgett Rowe, 95, died Monday, July 3, 2000, at St. Catherine's Hospital in Garden City.
She was born April 11, 1905, to Frank and Rose (Prieser) Pickett in Waterloo.
She married Harold Rowe Oct. 11, 1938, in Hutchinson. He died March 15, 2000.
She graduated from Merna High School in Merna, Neb. She had been a Beaver resident since 1968, when she and her husband were transferred there with Northern Natural.
She was a member of the St. Cabrini Catholic Church, the St. Cabrini Alter Society, the Beaver Nursing Home Auxiliary and the Beaver Historical Society.
Survivors include one sister, Clodaugh Strasser, Garden City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother and one nephew.
Rosary will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Cabrini Catholic Church in Beaver, followed by Mass at 5 p.m., with Father James Ross presiding.
Burial will be at the Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Clark Funeral Service in Beaver.
ROY S. FREEMAN
HOOKER, Okla. -- Roy Sherdian Freeman, 56, of Hooker, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Guymon, Okla.
He was born Feb. 26, 1944, to Wilburn and Viola Freeman in Porter, Okla.
He married Edna Marie Kiser June 26, 1965, in Ontario, Calif. She survives.
He moved to the Panhandle area in 1985 from Wagnor, Okla. He was a resident of Hooker for nine years.
He worked as a cowboy with Cattle Empire in Satanta and enjoyed horse-trading.
Other survivors include his mother, Viola Zone, Lamar, Ark.; one daughter, Sherry Winkler and husband, Raymond, Plains; two sons, Roy Freeman and wife, Stacie, Liberal, and Brian Freeman, Plains; nine brothers and sisters; and five grandchildren, David, Monte, Joshua and Sheldon Winkler and Areena Rae Freeman.
He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, James and Kenneth Freeman.
Graveside services
will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hooker Cemetery in Hooker with his brother, the Rev. Sammy Freeman of Nowata, Okla., presiding.
Services are under the direction of Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home in Guymon.

BRYAN HICKS
LAWTON, Okla. -- Bryan Hicks, 34, died Monday, July 3, 2000, in Lawton.
He was born Aug. 21, 1965, to Gerald E. and Virginia (Johnson) Hicks in Tucson, Ariz.
He married Lana Ford Dec. 19, 1987, in Elkhart. She survives.
He was a sergeant first class in the U.S. Army, stationed in Lawton since 1997.
Other survivors include one son, Nathan E. Hick and one daughter, Rebecca S. Hicks, both of the home; his father of St. John; his mother, Virginia Cullen, Tucson; two stepbrothers, Sean and Patrick Cullen, both of Tucson; and one half-sister, Katy Burnside of Idaho.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Elkhart, with the Revs. Dewey Harris and Tom Albright presiding.
Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart.
Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Friday at Harrell Funeral Home in Elkhart.
NANCY A. KEITH
GUYMON, Okla. -- Nancy Ann Keith, 79, longtime Guymon resident, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at Dunaway Manor in Guymon.
She was born Feb. 26, 1921, to Charles Wilford and Lula (Bennett) Norman in Davidson, Okla.
She married Harrison Roscoe Keith Sept. 10, 1937, in McCloud, Okla. He died Sept. 30, 1987.
She and her husband moved to Guymon from Elk City, Okla., in 1946.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Nazarene Church.
She received her license as a doll doctor through a home study course. She worked for 20 years repairing and making dolls for children at Christmas.
She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Calvin Keith and wife, Barbara, Optima, Okla., and Harrison Robert Keith, Texhoma, Texas; two daughters, Jean Willis, Guymon, and Patricia Martinez and husband, Alex, Liberal; two sisters, Georgia White of Missouri, and Catherine Linker and husband, Pete, Tulsa, Okla.; 14 grandchildren, Danny Willis, and Roberta Keith, both of Guymon, Jason Boley, Craig Shirley, and Bobby Keith, all of Liberal, Walter Carpe and Anthony Keith, both of Optima, Charles Carpe, Boise City, Okla., Calvin Jr. Keith, Tulsa, Charlotte Sammons, Canon City, Colo., and Floyd Keith, Hooker, Okla.; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two newborn children; one son, Paul Eugene Keith; four brothers, Lenard, Ben Henry, Charles and Lewis Norman; three sisters, Evie and Ivie Norman and Gladys France; one grandson, Roy Daryl Kitch; and one great-great-grandson, Trevor Keith.
Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with the Rev. Van Heckle of the Tabernacle Baptist Church presiding.
Services are under the direction of Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home in Guymon.
The family suggests memorials be given to the American Cancer Society in care of Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
BOBBIE JEAN DENHAM
FORGAN Okla. -- Bobbie Jean Denham, 60, died Tuesday, June 27, 2000, following a brief illness at the Beaver County Memorial Hospital in Beaver, Okla.
She was born Jan. 27, 1940, to Robert Moreland and Lillie Pearl (Robison) Crow in Golden, Okla.
She married C.L. "Buddy" Denham April 29, 1962, in Forgan. He survives.
She graduated from Knowles High School and attended one year of business college.
She was a homemaker.
She lived in Beaver County, Okla. for 43 years.
Other survivors include two daughters, Peggy Jean Bailey,
Liberal, and Sharon Denham, Forgan; one grandson, Cody; two brothers, Granville Crow, Forgan, and Jerry Crow, Forgan; and two sisters, Barbara Carrier, Forgan, and Alice Lake, Muskogee, Okla.
Funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Forgan Christian Church, Forgan, with Jim Sutherland and Leah Jones presiding. Burial will follow at the Forgan Cemetery, Forgan, under the direction of the Clark Funeral Service, Beaver.
LEONARD ALVIN ELSTON
BEAVER, Okla. -- Leonard Alvin Elston, 83, died Friday, June 23, 2000, at the Beaver County Memorial Hospital in Beaver.
He was born Nov. 18, 1916, to John Louis and Sarah Elizabeth (Leslie) Elston in Harper County, Okla.
He married Frances May Casteel Jan. 10, 1940, in Woodward, Okla. She survives.
He became a member of the Midway Country Church Nov. 16, 1949, and served on the church board for many years.
He farmed and ranched in the Beaver County area for many years before retiring and moving to Beaver in 1992.
Other survivors include two daughters, Betty M. Klotz, Turpin, Okla., and Evelyn Nelson and husband, Denny, Beaver; one brother, Lloyd Elston, Woodward; three sisters, Velma Brown, Wheatridge, Colo., Ella Schiblehut,
Lamar, Colo., and Berenita Horn, McAllister, Okla.; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services
were today at 2 p.m. at the Midway Country Church with Neil Ragan, Marcus Adair and Lowell Long presiding.
Burial was in the Pioneer Cemetery, Beaver, under the direction of Clark Funeral Service, Beaver.
Memorials are suggested to the Midway Country Church, Rt. 2, Box 165, Logan, OK 73848.
LORANA H. PARKER
BEAVER, Okla. -- Lorana Haroldine Parker, 75, died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, in Oklahoma City.
She was born June 26, 1924, to George W. and Ada Brown in Salem, Ill.
She worked as a nurses aide. She was a resident of Beaver for 40 years before moving to Wynnewood, Okla. in 1998.
She was a member of the Baptist Church in Beaver.
Survivors include three daughters, Pat Nielsen, Goshen, Ohio, Jean Paslay, Clarksville, Tenn., and Judi Underwood, Wynnewood; two step-daughters, Dixie Felan and Diane Tarrant, both of Maysville, Okla.; one step-son, Ricky Parker, Moore, Okla.; four brothers, George A. Brown, Alma, Ill., Harry Brown, Anderson, Ind., George W. Brown Jr., and Gene Brown, both of Salem, Ill.; two sisters, Mary Alice Graves, Glenwood, Ind., and Eileen Rutledge, Boca Raton, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Birt O. Speer, Lenville Sperling and Raymond Parker; and one daughter, Sue Lynn Field.
Funeral services
will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Beaver First Baptist Church, Beaver, with Oscar Ragan presiding. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery, Beaver, with Clark Funeral Home, Beaver, in charge of arrangements.
