BONNA L. SUTTON
EDMOND, Okla. -- Bonna L. Sutton, 94, a former Elkhart resident, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at Bryant Nursing Center in Edmond.
She was born June 4, 1905, to Ernest and Ella (McBride) Dittmar in Clay Center.
She was a resident of Edmond since June 1999. She lived most of her life in Elkhart.
She was a teacher. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and PEO, both of Elkhart.
She married Fred Sutton March 28, 1934, in Johnson. He died April 18, 1983.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Thomas, Guthrie, Okla., and Sally Criswell, Anchorage, Alaska; and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Elkhart, with the Rev. Ken Van presiding.
Burial will be at Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart.
Memorials are suggested to Morton County Care Center or Morton County Museum.
HAROLD DON ROWE
BEAVER, Okla. -- Harold Don Rowe, 80, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born March 29, 1919, to Daniel Marion and Lucinda (Lane) Rowe in Lawrence County, Mo.
He married Lucille Pickett Oct. 11, 1938, in Hutchinson. She survives.
He had lived in Beaver since 1968. He worked for Northern Natural Gas Company. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church since 1938, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post No.149.
Other survivors include one sister, Inez Warren, Wellsville.
Funeral mass will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at St. Frances Cabrini Church in Beaver, with the Rev. Ed Menasco presiding.
Burial will follow at the Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Clark Funeral Services, Beaver.
MANUEL ENRIQUEZ
BEAVER, Okla. -- Manuel Enriquez Gardea, 37, died Monday, March 13, 2000, in an oil field accident in northern Ellis County, Okla.
He was born Sept. 22, 1962, to Francisco and Francisca (Gardea) Enriquez in Chihuahua, Mexico.
He married Guadaloupe Gonzalez July 29, 1993 in El Paso, Texas. She survives.
He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Booker, Texas. He worked as a roustabout in the oilfield.
Other survivors include two daughters, Flor Isela and Veronica, both of the home; one son, Edgar Alonzo, of the home; his mother, Francisca, Chihuahua; three brothers, Miguel, Salvador and Francisco; and three sisters, Anna, Silvia and Patricia, all of Chihuahua.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral mass for Manuel Enriquez will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Community Chapel in Beaver, with the Rev. Rex Nicholl presiding.
Burial will be at the Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Clark Funeral Home in Beaver.
STIRL E. NASH
FORGAN, Okla. -- Stirl E. Nash, 87, died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born May 8, 1912, to George W. and Clara (Shuping) Nash in Tipton, Okla.
He married Linnie B. Durbin Oct. 20, 1928, in Liberal. She died Feb. 14, 1993.
He came to the Forgan community at the age of 3 and was a lifelong resident. He was schooled in Forgan. He farmed in the Forgan community until he retired in 1982 and then moved into town in 1976.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Golden Agers, both of Forgan.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Nash, Beaver, Okla., and Ronald Nash, Forgan; one daughter, Edith Pierce, Lewisville, Texas; seven grandchildren, Kenneth, Roger, Shawn, and Shane Nash, Dana Taylor, Kent Pierce, and Michell Perez; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and three sisters.
Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Forgan Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Lunsford presiding.
Miller Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
MARY YOUNG
HOOKER, Okla. -- Mary Young, 96, of Abilene, Texas, formerly of Hooker, Okla., died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at Spring Season Nursing Home in Abilene.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hooker Church of Christ, with Neville Buchanan, John Maynard and Evan Eggleston officiating.
Burial will be at the Hooker Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Hooker.
CLIFFORD LYNN COLE
BEAVER, Okla. -- Clifford Lynn Cole, 90, of Beaver, Okla., died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at Beaver County Nursing Home.
He was born Aug. 25, 1909, in Beaver County, Okla. He was a lifetime resident of the area.
He married Evelyn Delander in 1951. She died in 1968.
He married Helen McPherson April 25, 1969. She survives.
He was a farmer and a member of the First Christian Church.
Other survivors are one son, Stanley Cole, Emmitt, Idaho; one daughter, Sheila Stickler, also of Emmitt; one step-son, Charley McPherson, Beaver, Okla.; two step-daughters, Florence Phillips, Skiatook, Okla., and Kathy Reed, Winnamucca, Nev.; one brother, Jimmie Cole, Beaver; 26 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Beaver First Christian Church, with Roger Neff presiding.
Burial will be at Beaver Pioneer Cemetery with arrangements by Clark Funeral Service.
The family suggests memorials to the Beaver First Christian Church or memorials of the donor's choice.
SAM R. CRAIG
GUYMON, Okla. -- Sam R. Craig, 73, lifelong Guymon resident and businessman, died Saturday, March 25, 2000, in Oklahoma City.
He was born Dec. 18, 1926, to John W. and Evangelene (Butler) Craig in Texhoma, Okla.
The Craig family moved in 1927 to Guymon, where he attended Guymon schools. He graduated in 1945.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran.
He worked in the natural gas pipeline construction business and lived in Pennsylvania, Louisiana and Kansas before he returned to Guymon in 1955.
He began his career at Longbotham Wholesale Inc. and became a partner in that business. He retired and sold the company in 1994.
He was a member of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church.
He married Billye Jeanne Vineyard June 22, 1952, in Guymon. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Karen Knudson, Oklahoma City; a daughter-in-law, Dana Craig Meister, Oklahoma City; one sister, Wilma Fern Bohanan and husband, Guymon, Liberal; one sister-in-law, Virginia Craig, Duncan, Okla.; and four grandchildren, Becky Craig, David Craig, Jarred Knudson and Jordan Knudson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John William Craig Jr.; and a son, Sam D. Craig.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Victory Memorial United Methodist Church, Guymon, with the Rev. Mike Chaffin presiding.
Burial will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery.

TURPIN, Okla. -- H.C. "Junior" Plunk, 71, Turpin, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Turpin United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dan Frisby presiding.
Burial will be at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker, Okla.
The family suggests memorials to Baker United Methodist Church for the fellowship hall, in care of Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.
H.C. "JUNIOR" PLUNK
TURPIN, Okla. -- H.C. "Junior" Plunk, 71, Turpin, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at his home.
He was born May 27, 1928, to Herbert Columbus and Alice (Martin) Plunk near Baker, Okla.
He attended school in Baker and graduated from Eureka High School, Baker, with the class of 1946.
He farmed in the area all his life. He was a member of the Baker United Methodist Church, where he was Sunday School superintendent and a lay leader.
Survivors include two aunts, Ruth Cox, Los Alamos, N.M., and Rena Plunk, Baker; one uncle, Fred Martin, Lubbock, Texas; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Turpin United Methodist Church, Turpin, with the Rev. Dan Frisby presiding.
Burial will be at the Hooker Cemetery, Hooker, with Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, and from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church.
