Lloyd Charles Ridenour, Jr.
Lloyd Charles Ridenour, Jr., 67, of Park Hill, Oklahoma, died Friday, May 21, 2004 near Keys, Oklahoma. He was born November 11, 1936 to Lloyd Charles Ridenour and Beulah Sims Ridenour in Hulbert, Oklahoma.
Lloyd grew up in Muskogee where he was educated and graduated from Central High School in 1954. He matriculated to Oklahoma State University where he belonged to Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Then he attended Northeastern State University and earned a bachelors degree in Mathematics and teaching.
In 1960, Lloyd began a career in sales at Olin Kraft Box Corporation in Springdale, Arkansas. He moved to Ft. Smith, Arkansas in 1964 where he was the General Manager for Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation until 1997. He moved to Muskogee in 1997 where he served as the General Manager of the Smurfit-Stone Container Muskogee plant until his retirement in 2001. In his retirement Lloyd enjoyed golf and fishing.
Preceding Lloyd in death where his parents and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of the home; two sons, Greg K. Ridenour of Chicago, IL and Lloyd C. Ridenour, III and his wife, Debra, of Argyle, Texas; two granddaughters, Brooke and Ashley Ridenour, of Argyle, Texas and one sister and brother-in-law, Clara and Guy Webb, of Park Hill, OK.
Funeral services
will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2004 at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
Maxine Stanley
TAHLEQUAH -- Services for Maxine Stanley will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2004, at Mount Zion General Baptist Church, with Rev. Jimmy Bell reading the obituary and Rev. Randall Cummings delivering the message. Burial will follow at Little Rock Family Cemetery under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Raymond Chandler, Bobby Arneecher, Daniel Arneecher, Ralph Grass Jr., Stacy Grass, Russell Grass, Donald Osburn, Ronald Osburn, Rodney Grass, Craig Grass and Carl Gean Nall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mikiel Lee Evans Jr., Lance Eugene Fields, Rusty Lee Stanley and Justin Blake Stanley.
Maxine Stanley was born Burva Maxine Grass on April 19, 1935, in Locust Grove, to Thomas and Ella (Standingwater) Grass. She passed from this life on Monday, July 5, 2004, in Tahlequah, at the age of 69 years.
Maxine grew up in the community of Little Rock, near West Siloam Springs, and attended Chilocco Indian School. She married Blake Stanley in June of 1955. Maxine was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church at Teresita.
She was preceded in death by her father, and a sister Caroline Nall.
Maxine is survived by her mother, Ella Suritte; two daughters, Ruby Jean Stanley, and Maudie Allene Smith and husband Steve; a son Blake Stanley Jr. and his wife Janice; two sisters, LouElla "Ludy" Osburn and Fay Jean Arneecher; four brothers, Ralph Grass, Johnny Grass, Rusty Grass and Ray Dean Grass; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Albert LeRoy Haskins
TAHLEQUAH -- Services for Albert LeRoy Haskins, 78, of Tahlequah, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Hart Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Charles Keim officiating. Interment
will follow at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Gunner Glad, Fred M. Glad, Bruce Ragsdale, Ira Ross, Finis Ragsdale and Junior Moss. Honorary pallbearers will be Herman Young, Carl Spencer, Skeet Torix and Bill Skinner.
Albert Leroy Haskins was born to Joseph LeRoy and Rillie (Randall) Haskins on May 3, 1926, in Fort Gibson, and passed from this life on July 3, 2004, in Tahlequah.
Albert enlisted in the United States Army in 1944 and retired a master sergeant after 21 years of service. In 1956 he married Hertha Kinninger in Germany. Albert enjoyed gardening and taking long walks, and he loved watching boxing and football on the television.
His parents; his wife, Hertha; three sisters, Ruby Brown, Ruby Newton and Vina Martin; and three brothers, Rolland Cottingham, Melvin Cottingham and Paul Hugh Haskins precede Albert in death.
Albert is survived by one sister, Edith Glad and husband Duke of Tahlequah; two brothers, Glen Haskins of Fort Gibson and Omer Cottingham of Exeter, Calif.; many nieces and nephews; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.

Bobby Duncan Ratliff
TAHLEQUAH -- Services for our beloved father, Bobby Duncan Ratliff, 69, of Claremore, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2004, in the Green Country Funeral Home Chapel in Tahlequah. Interment
will follow in the Pettit Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.
Pall bearers will be Robert Ratliff, Mike Shore, Robin Niclas Ratliff, Francis Lanzano, Irvin Sells and Dillon Ryan Ratliff.
Bobby D. Ratliff was born July 6, 1934, at Park Hill, the son of Frank and Sally Johnson Ratliff. He passed from this life on July 3, 2004, at Tulsa.
Surviving Bobby are three children, Robert Frank Ratliff, Joy Lynn Lanzano and Yolanda Ratliff; a sister, Ramona Sells; an aunt, Ruth Stark, a lifelong friend, O.D. Powell; the mother of his daughter Yolanda, Terry Ratliff; three grandchildren, Dillon Ryan Ratliff, Robin Niclas Ratliff and Francis Lanzano; and a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Lavella Welch
Lavella Welch passed from this life Friday, July 2, 2004 in Siloam Springs at the age of 90 years. She was born June 29, 1914 in Cherokee County, Oklahoma to Porter Tyer and Amanda Elizabeth (Mitchell) Tyer.
Surviving Lavella are her three sons: Curtis Welch and his wife, Donna, Jerry Welch and his wife, Ramona, and Jack Welch and his wife, Jackie; five daughters: Virginia Copeland and her husband, Bill, Lois Martin and her husband, Paul, Betty Gandy and her husband, Jack, Neomia Pearson and her husband, R.J., and Connie Gandy; one brother, Turney Tyer; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Lavella was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer Welch; and three children: Nora Welch, L.C. Welch and J.W. Welch.
Services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Reed-Culver Chapel with Brother Wayne Jordan and Brother Arthur Jordan officiating. Interment

Johnnie Witt
FORT SMITH -- Services for Johnnie Witt, 82, of Muldrow, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark., with a graveside service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tahlequah City Cemetery, in Tahlequah. Interment
will follow in Tahlequah City Cemetery with full military honors, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark.
Pallbearers will be members of the Military Honors Detail.
Johnnie Witt died Sunday, July 4, 2004. He was a retired grocery store owner and businessman, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a prisoner of war for three years. He was a member of the DAV and VFW, and the Bell Point Masonic Lodge No. 20, where he was a 32nd degree mason.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Witt; and a son, Ronnie Whitt.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Carol Roe; two daughters, Barbara Morman of Houston, Texas, and Susie Parnell and husband Jerry of Fort Smith, Ark.; one sister, Beth Corella and husband Al of Bakersfield, Calif.; six grandchildren, Josh and Yolanda Parnell, Wes Parnell, Jack Morman, Johnnie Witt and David Smith; and one great-granddaughter, Whitney Parnell.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, July 6, 2004, from 6-8, at the funeral home.
