Offie Grace Gibson
Offie Grace Gibson, 51, of Norman died Sunday in Norman.
Survivors include a sister, Cleona Moon of Little Axe, and three brothers, Isaac Gibson of Little Axe, Delbert Gibson of Sapulpa and Harvey Gibson of Tonkawa.
Graveside services
are 9:30 a.m. today at the Gibson Family cemeterywith Johnny Mann officiating. A wake service was held Monday evening at the Mann family home.
Arrangements are being handled by Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
Timothy O'Donnell
Timothy O'Donnell, 48, of Stroud died Sunday in Tulsa.
Survivors include his parents, John J. and Gloria O'Donnell of Kansas City, Mo.; one son, Sean O'Donnell of Stroud; one daughter, Kelli O'Donnell of Stroud; two brothers, Michael O'Donnell of Overland Park, Kan., and Thomas O'Donnell of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Carol Ann Trager of Prairie Village, Kan.; and fiancee Debbie Garett.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at Parks Brothers Chapel with Earl Burson and Keith Eaton officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo.
Ada Lee Chester
Ada Lee Chester, 76, formerly of Shawnee, died Saturday in New Carlisle, Ohio.
Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Matthews and Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.
Nora Earls
Nora Earls, 88, of Tecumseh died Saturday in Shawnee.
She was born May 28, 1914, in Tecumseh, the daughter of William and Sarah (McMahan) Branson.
She was a lifelong Tecumseh resident and graduated from Tecumseh High School. She married J.C. Earls in Shawnee on Dec. 25, 1935. She was a homemaker and a voter registrar.
Earls was a lifelong member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she was active in WMU. She was a past member of several Home Demonstration Clubs and a past supporter of the New Hope 4-H Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, in February 1991, her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son, John Earls of Tecumseh; two grandsons and their spouses, David and Lori Earls and Larry and Tammy Earls, all of Tecumseh; and five great-grandchildren, Lindsay Earls, Lacey Earls, Zachary Earls, Casey Earls and Rikkie Earls.
Graveside services
will be 10 a.m. today at Tecumseh Cemetery with the Rev. John Mixon, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, officiating.
Memorials may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are being handled by Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
Wanda M. Benton
Wanda M. Benton, 75, of Shawnee died Sunday at a local hospital.
She was born June 15, 1927, in Seminole to Charles and Mary Goodman. She was raised in Seminole and Shawnee and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1945.
She retired from Sears after 30 years of service.
She married Oliver Proctor "O.P." Benton Jr. on April 10, 1947, at St. Benedict Catholic Church. He preceded her in death July 27, 1994.
She was a member of the Altar Society, St. Benedict Catholic Church and the Sears Retiree Club in Shawnee.
She also was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sarah Benton of Midland, Texas, and Gary and Marilynn Benton of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Rudy Guerin of Springfield, Va., Marianne and Rick Runyon of Moore, Susan and Brent Bowlan of Shawnee and Kim and Greg May of Edmond; stepmother, Lily May Webb; a brother, Charles Goodman of Red Bluff, Calif.; a half-brother, Paul Rueda of Lodi, Calif.; a half-sister, Joann Pulido of Santa Paula, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A prayer vigil service, led by Deacon David Schrupp, will be 7 p.m. today at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial is noon Wednesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church with the Rev. Joachim Spexarth, O.S.B., officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be made to St. Benedict Catholic Church Memorial Fund.
Lottie Mae Wesley
Lottie Mae Wesley, 92, of Shawnee died Saturday at a local hospital.
She was born March 19, 1910, in Mt. Ida, Ark., to Elick and Mary (Cottrell) Cox.
She married Bill Wesley on Nov. 10, 1964, in Chandler.
She was a homemaker and had been a Shawnee resident since 1972.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Avery Jones; and a sister and brother.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Billie Jones of Shawnee; two granddaughters, Connie Bean of Shawnee and Dollie Long II of Kingston; and seven great-grandchildren, Majesta Wright of Oklahoma City, Michelle Bean of Oklahoma City, Michael Bean of Oklahoma City, Larry Bryant of Hugo, Tony Bryant of Oklahoma City, Sharron Bryant of Hugo and Tanya Bryant of Hugo.
Graveside services
are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Midwest City with the Rev. Doyle Loveland officiating. Services are under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Home.
Garland Cox Howell
Garland Cox Howell, 93, of Stroud died Saturday at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Howell of Stroud; three sons, S.G. Howell of Ottawa, Kan., Don Howell of Stroud and Curtis Howell of Edmond; a daughter, Norma Johnson of Oklahoma City; a brother, Wayne Howell of Jasper, Texas; two sisters, Geneva Green of Shawnee and Evelyn Corabeth Holeman of Paden; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

are 10 a.m. today at Stroud Cemetery with the Rev. Don Wilburn officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Funeral Service in Stroud.
Kenny Patterson
Kenny Patterson, 56, of Normangee, Texas, a former resident of the Tecumseh-Shawnee area, died Friday in Normangee.
He was born Dec. 26, 1945, in Shawnee, the son of Loal Macie and Anita Onahlee (Bowles) Patterson.
He had lived in Missouri, California and Texas. He had been a Madison County, Texas, resident since 1982. He attended school in Tecumseh through his sophomore year and then attended and graduated from Shawnee High School.
He worked as a horse trainer and competed in rodeos. He was a member of the National Cutting Horse Association. He was a world champion of the NCHA in 1989 and was a member of the NCHA Hall of Fame.
He was preceded in death by his father, in 1993.
Survivors include a son, Pard Patterson of Normangee, Texas; his mother, Onah Patterson of Tecumseh; two grandchildren, Gunnar and Canyon Patterson of Normangee; a sister, Debbie Patterson of Weatherford, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Bobby and Anita Beard of Tecumseh; two nieces, Shawna Mize of Tecumseh and Shelly Blassingame of McLoud; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside service swill be 1 p.m. today at Tecumseh Cemetery with Joe Howard Williamson officiating.

Jo Etta Kopczynski
Jo Etta Kopczynski, 73, of Shawnee died Wednesday at her home.
She was born April 13, 1929, in Madill, the daughter of A.E. Watkins and Lelah May (Sparlin) Watkins.
Kopczynski graduated from Madill High School. She was a homemaker.
She married Harold "Curly" Kopczynski on Dec. 19, 1951, in Ardmore.
She was a member of Central Church of Christ in Shawnee and a life member of Beta Sigma Phi, serving as president. She was voted "Girl of the Year" in the Preceptor Rho Chapter.
Kopczynski was a member of the Monday Snappers Bowling League and delivered food for Meals-on-Wheels until April. She had been a resident of Shawnee since 1971.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Kyla and Mark Farris of Catoosa; two grandchildren and spouse, Elisha Thach and husband Brandon of Tulsa and Caleb Farris of Catoosa; three sisters, June Rollins of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Weta Thomas of Arcadia; and Marcia Jones of Madill; two brothers, Harold Gene "Doc" Watkins of Madill and Denver Watkins, Torrance, Calif.; two aunts, Letha Buford of Shawnee and Ruth Auten of Gladewater, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Services were 10 a.m. Monday at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel with Mark Farris officiating. Burial followed at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Mildred Sala Bullard
Mildred Sala Bullard, 68, of Paden died Saturday at her home.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Miles Sala of Prague, Buster Bullard of Paden and Chris and Rene Bullard of Paden; a brother, Bob Sala, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services are 10 a.m. today at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with the Rev. Paul Heard officiating. Burial will follow at Paden Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
W. B. Condon Jr.
W. B. "Bud" Condon Jr., 75, of Tecumseh died Sunday in Shawnee.
He was born Oct. 7, 1927, in Tecumseh to Webster Benjamin "Web" Condon Sr. and Josie Mae (McMahan) Condon.
Condon attended Macomb schools through the 11th grade and was a 1945 graduate of Tecumseh High School.
He grew up in the Macomb area. He moved to Tecumseh as a youth and always lived there.
Condon served three years in the U.S. Navy.
He married Patricia J. Waller on June 1, 1948, in Saint Louis.
With his brother, he owned and operated Condon Hardware in Tecumseh until his 1996 retirement.
He was a past president of the Tecumseh Rotary Club; served on the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce; served as a trustee for Mission High Hospital; and served on the citizen advisory committee for the Pottawatomie County Commissioners during the 1980s.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; and an infant sister.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Condon, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Kari Condon of Ada; and a brother, Mac Condon of Tecumseh.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. today at Tecumseh Cemetery with the Rev. John Mixon officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
