Wendell Ramsey
Wendell Ramsey, 82, died Friday at his Shawnee home.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Davis Ramsey, of the home; children, Gerald Davis, Shawnee; Joeva Ramsey, Pinckney, Mich.; Keith Ramsey, Shawnee; Carol McGuire, Shawnee; sister, Mabel Ramsey, Holdenville, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Atwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
Kyle Don Scalf
Kyle Don Scalf, infant son of Karissa Marshall and Jerry Scalf, died Friday in Midwest City.
Survivors include a brother, Jadon Scalf, of Seminole; grandparents, Sharon Trammell of Shawnee, Bruce and Patricia Marshall of Shawnee, and Roger and Gevana Scalf of Maud; great-grandparents, Dennis and Mary Trammell, Henry Yates, all of Tecumseh, Iris Marshall, Brunswick, Ga., and numerous other relatives.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Forest Hill Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh is in charge of arrangements.
Nela Bell Farmer
Shawnee resident Nela Bell Farmer, 91, died Saturday at a local nursing home.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Joyce Farmer, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Robert Lee and Loralee Farmer, Park City, Utah; sisters, Frona Hunsucker, Shawnee; Odel Bush, Choctaw; brother, Henry Bush, Shawnee; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Services were Monday under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Home.
Pauline Rosetta Wolfe
Weleetka resident Pauline Rosetta Wolfe, formerly of Harrah and the Jones and Choctaw area, died Saturday in Weleeka.
Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law, Vivian and Charles Listen, Jones; Mildred and Frankie Moore, Elgin; Lois and Jim Craft, Oklahoma City, and Naomi and Calvin Thomas, Choctaw, and numerous other relatives.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Jones IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service of Harrah.
Hyla Love
Hyla "Jo" Love, 75, of Oklahoma City died Tuesday in Oklahoma City.
She was born Jan. 31, 1928, in Seminole to Arthur L. and Gracie (Lee) Duke.
Love attended Capitol Hill High School.
She was a life-long resident of Oklahoma City.
Love married Ray Love on Dec. 23, 1946. He preceded her in death Jan. 9, 1967.
She worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1973.
She was a member of the Eagle Heights Baptist Church.
Love also was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Pattie Love of Pink; grandson and spouse, Steven and Beverly Love of Shawnee; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Eagle Heights Baptist Church at 12000 S. Interstate 44 with the Rev. Randy Nail and the Rev. Mark Gaines officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
Lela Stafford
Lela Stafford, 83, Lawton, died Tuesday at a Shawnee hospital.
She was born Feb. 24, 1920, in Nocona, Texas, to Guy and Effie (Gibson) Williams. She was raised in Carnegie and graduated from Carnegie High School.
She married Joel "J.C" Stafford on July 30, 1939, in Lawton. She worked at Sears for 19 years in ladies apparel.
In 2002, she moved to a Tecumseh retirement center.
She was a member of the Sears EX Club and Western Hills Church of Christ.
Her husband, parents, sister, Evelyn Hegner, and brother, Curtis Williams, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Lindsey Stafford, and wife Pat, Lawton; daughter, Sharon Walker, and husband Russell, Shawnee; brother-in-law Bob Stafford, Lawton; sister-in-law, Helen Stafford, Lawton; and three granddaughters and their spouses, Patti L. and Michael Russo of Boca Raton, Fla., Sheri R. and Gary Leroux of Watertown, N.Y., and Jennifer and Joe Sumpter of Shawnee; two great-grandsons, Rylan Jacob Russo of Boca Raton and Shane Austin Sumpter of Shawnee.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Western Hills Church of Christ, Lawton, the Rev. Harley Davidson and the Rev. Jim Antwine officiating.
Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Lawton, under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

W.E. Bill Mayberry
Chandler resident Brig. Gen. (Ret.) W.E. Bill Mayberry, 90, died Wednesday at his home.
A graveside service will be Saturday at Star Valley Cemetery Saturday. Further information will be released by Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.
Lawrence W. Colwell
Lawrence W. Colwell, Rochester, N.Y., 68, died Feb. 27.
He was born in Tribbey to Irvyn and Lola Colwell.
He attended Macomb High School and the University of Oklahoma.
He farmed and ranched in the Sample Flat Community, northwest of Fort Benton, Mont., from 1955 until 1981.
He moved to Great Falls, Mont., and later married Gaye Colwell and lived in Rochester, N.Y., where he worked in trucking.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael, in 1973 and his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Nikki Carlson, Rochester.; grandchildren Paige Hashley, Kirksville, Mo., Brianne Broduer, Guithersburg, Md., and Mark, Matthew and Meghan Carlson, Rochester; former wife, Barbara Colwell Duncan; wife, Gaye Colwell, Rochester; sister, LaDora Ledford, Tecumseh; and a number of family and friends in Oklahoma.
Joe Denison
Joe Denison, 82, Duncan, formerly of Seminole, died Monday at home.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Denison of the home; daughter, Sharon Kay Hale, Marlow; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter J. Denison, Vacaville, Calif.; and C.E. Denison, Dodge City, Kan.; and sister Hilda Tygrett, Indianapolis, Ind.
Services will be 4 p.m.. today at Strothers Chapel with the Rev. Tracy L. Wilson officiating.
Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Roy Lee Bullion
Roy Lee Bullion, 84, Shawnee, died Sunday at his residence.
He was born in Okmulgee on Dec. 16, 1919, to Andrew and Annie Bullion.
He attended Wheatley High School and later worked at Tinker Air Force Base until his retirement in 1978.
He married Lillie Mae Potts on Nov. 17, 1959.
He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Fort Polk, La. In 1944, he was honorably discharged.
He was a member of the New Light Lodge No. 113 and the Southside Domino Assocation.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife and one child.
Survivors include six daughters, Mildred, Oklahoma City, Shirley, Oklahoma City, Othella and husband Bola, Port Arthur, Texas, Patricia and husband Freddie, Oklahoma City, Deretress, Oklahoma City, and Francene and husband Isiah, Monroe, La.; six sons, Inman and wife Norma, Shawnee, Ronnie and wife Teressa, Phoenix, Ariz., Donald, Phoenix, Ricardo, Shawnee, Milton, Everett, Wash., and Andrew, Phoenix; 32 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Alta Mae Hall
Alta Mae Hall, 95, of Shawnee died Wednesday in a Mustang nursing home.
She was born March 5, 1908, in Haileyville to Burt W. and Doll (Simpson) Hutchison.
She graduated from high school in Haileyville and attended business college in Shawnee.
She married Bob Hall in 1939 at Gainesville, Texas.
She worked for many years in the commercial department of Southwestern Bell Telephone and later with her husband, who owned Bob's Cleaners.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Hall; a son, Bob McMurtrey; and a brother, Herbert.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Ford of Riverside, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Eloise of Duncan; granddaughter, Susan Fielder and husband David of Conyers, Ga.; grandson, Joe McMurtrey and wife Connie of Minco; and two great-grandsons.
Graveside services
will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Max Shumake officiating.
Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
