Garrie K. "Dewey" Wickham, 48, of 134 E. N. Street in Carey, died at 2:43 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2001, in the Wyandot Memorial Hospital emergency room in Upper Sandusky.

Ethel Irene Young, 74, of Sandusky CR 214, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, in Fremont Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 25, 1926, in Hessville, to Emmett and Elizabeth M. (Spieldenner) Van Ness. Both are deceased.
On June 27, 1953, she married
Lyle O. Young, and he survives.
Survivors also include: two sons, Donald G. Young of Clyde, and Ronald W. Young of Fremont; and a daughter Mrs. John (Brenda) Ransom of Woodville; two brothers, Orrin Van Ness of Clyde, and Kenneth Van Ness of Sandusky; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Mildred) Nieset of Fremont, and Mrs. Joe (Mildred) Wojdula of Fremont; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased also include: a son, Michael Young; brothers, Lewis, Earl, James and Emmett LeRoy Van Ness; and sisters, Mary Rufty and Alberta Roth Hotz.
Mrs. Young, a homemaker, was a member and Den Mother of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Fremont. She attended Gibsonburg Schools and was employed at Woolworth's.
Services will take place at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde. The Rev Joe Redmon, Jr. will be the officiant. Burial will be in Dana cemetery in Clyde.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.,Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul episcopal Church in Fremont, or Sandusky County Hospice.

Garrie K. "Dewey" Wickham, 48, of 134 E. North St., Carey, died at 2:43 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2001, in the Wyandot Memorial Hospital emergency room, in Upper Sandusky.
He was born June 28, 1952, in Upper Sandusky, to Rueben C. and Sara M. (Ward) Wickham. Both are deceased. He married
Carol Brinkner and later divorced. He then married
Jamie Marrow and they divorced.
Survivors include a son, Ryan W. Wickham of Upper Sandusky; three brothers, Ray Wickham of Tiffin, Larry Wickham of Carey, and Penny Wickham of Upper Sandusky; two sisters, Mrs. Michael (Nancy) Todd of Carey, and Mrs. Dennis (Dianne) Pratt of Vanlue.
Mr. Wickham, a 1971 Carey High School graduate, was a laborer with Atlas Industries in Tiffin. He was a NASCAR and Sprint Car enthusiast.
Services will take place at 11 a.m.,Thursday, at the Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey, with the Rev. Buck Traylor officiating. Burial will be in the Houcktown cemetery in Houcktown.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Eric E. Schwochow
Whirlpool/Clyde retiree
Eric E. Schwochow, 89, of S. Water St. in Castalia, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, at his residence.
He was born on July 31, 1911, in Vickery, to William and Rosa (White) Schwochow. On March 20, 1936, he married
Lucille (Norman) Schwochow. She died on May 8, 1977.
Survivors include: two sons, the Rev. Eric Charles Schwochow of Toledo, and the Rev. Alan Schwochow of Castalia; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Carol) Hildebrandt of Bellevue; five brothers, Burton C. Schwochow of Clyde, William Schwochow of Fremont, Nelson White of Ocala, Fla., Norman Schwochow of Clyde, and James Schwochow of Vickery; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased include two brothers, Albert Schwochow and Roy White; and a sister, Esther Wott.
Mr. Schwochow attended Townsend School and graduated from York High School in 1929. He was a supervisor of quality control with Whirlpool Corp. in Clyde and retired in May 1976.
Additionally, he was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Bellevue and the Bellevue Eagles 490.
Services will take place at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, at Grace Lutheran Church in Castalia. The Rev. Douglas Haryu will be the officiant. Interment will be in the Castalia cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., in Clyde.
Memorials may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church/Continuous Improvement Fund or Organ Fund in Castalia.
Loy R. Beckett
Clyde resident
Loy Richard Beckett, 57, of Lemon St., in Clyde, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
He was born August 20, 1943, in Ovapa, West Va., to Hartzel and Letha (McKown) Beckett. They both preceded him in death. On June 27, 1965, he married
Rosemary Bullard and she survives.
Survivors also include: two daughters, Mrs. Dave (Marsha) Ritter of Troy, and Mrs. Wendell (Lisa) Baker of Clyde; a brother, Ken Beckett of Norwalk; two sisters, Mrs. Bob (Joann) Prior of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs. Dan (Mardene) Joyce of Cuyahoga Falls, and four grandchildren.
Deceased are: two brothers, Oral and Forrest Beckett; and three sisters, Freda Beckett, June Parsons, and Sharon Cummins.
Mr. Beckett attended school in West Va., was a member of the UAW, and worked in the shipping department at Armstrong Air of Bellevue.
Services will take place 2 p.m., Thursday, at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde, with the Rev. Richard Studebaker officiating. Interment will be in McPherson cemetery in Clyde.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Keith Y. Ekleberry
Korean War veteran
Keith Y. Ekleberry, 71, of 1334 SR 103 in Sycamore, died at 1:50 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2001, at his home.
He was born on Dec. 23, 1929, in Wyandot County, to Clyde C. and Rachel M. (Yambert) Ekleberry. They are both deceased. On Oct. 7, 1952, he married
Blanche Caudill, and they were divorced. She survives.
Survivors also include: sons, William K. Ekleberry of Sycamore, and Aaron T. Ekleberry of Sycamore; daughters, Debra E. Ekleberry of Upper Sandusky, Mrs. David (Pamela K.) Kraft of Tiffin, Mrs. Kevin (Denise J.) Mohr of Sycamore, Mrs. Daniel (Tina M.) Steinhauser of Maumee; and 10 grandchildren.
Mr. Ekleberry, an Army veteran of the Korean conflict, was a member of Enterprise Lodge 579, F & AM Sycamore, member of Sycamore American Legion Post #250, 32nd Degree Mason of Toledo Masonic Lodge, member of Zenobia Shrine of Toledo, member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18 of Toledo, member of local 798, Tulsa, OK., member of Upper Sandusky Elks Lodge 83, member of Am Vets in Bucyrus, and a member of Warpole Lodge 366 OES in Upper Sandusky.
He graduated in 1947 from McCutchenville High School, was a member of Sycamore United Methodist Church, farmed and retired as a pipeline superintendent.
Services will take place at 11 a.m., Thursday, at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home in Sycamore. Burial will be in Pleasant View cemetery in Sycamore, with graveside services conducted by Sycamore American Legion Post 250.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, with a Masonic service at 8:45 p.m., at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County or the American Cancer Society.
Lonnie Ray Doss

Lonnie Ray Doss, 26, of 131 State St. in Bettsville, died Monday, May 7, 2001, in Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.
He was born Sept. 15, 1974 in Tiffin, to William D. Doss and Judy Lynn (England) Stockdale.
Survivors include: his father, William and step-mother Joann Doss of Olympia, Washington; his mother, Judy and step-father, Carrol "Louie" Stockdale in Bettsville; a a brother, Dale A. Doss of Tiffin; two sisters, Cindy Lou Bilger of Oceola, and April L. Stockdale of Bettsville; maternal grandmother, Mary "Doggie" England of New Riegel; a half sister, Stacy Doss of Washington; and two step-sisters, Valerie Lester and Sandra Caron, both of Washington.
Mr. Doss, a laborer, was of the Protestant Faith. He enjoyed fishing and family.
Services will take place at 2 p.m., Friday, at the Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey with the Rev. Paul W. Goetz officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove cemetery in Carey.
Visitation is noon-2 p.m., Friday, prior to services, at the funeral home.

Word has been received of Thelma E. (Dill) Farver, 87, of Mesa, Ariz., died April 24, 2001 in Mesa.

Margaret L. Williams, 87, of 4275 N. Co. Rd. 43, Tiffin, died in her son's home on Wednesday, May 9, 2001. She was born Aug. 11, 1913 to Earl and Emma (Gesaner) Arnold. On Nov. 25, 1931 she married
Charles R. Williams, Sr. He died June 2, 1985.
Surviving include: three sons, Charles Williams, Jr. of Bettsville, Joseph Williams of Tiffin, and Robert Williams of Wilmer, Ala.; a daughter, Mrs. Eloise Cook of Tiffin; two brothers, Vincent and Lewis Arnold, both of Tiffin; a sister, Mrs. Marcella Winkler of Fostoria; a step-brother, Albert Groves of Fostoria; three half-brothers, Bernard Arnold of Bucyrus, Gerald Arnold of Port-Clinton, and Brian Arnold of Fostoria; four half-sisters, Helen Gilliland of Imlay, Mich., Joyce Waldron of Carey, Mrs. Brenda Bullock of Alvada and LaDonna Smiley of Ashville; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Deceased are: a son, Laurence Williams; a step-mother, Agnes Vogel Arnold; three brothers, Robert, John and Wayne Arnold; a sister, Betty Scherger; and a half-sister, Delores Arnold; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Williams was a Homemaker and member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
The Rev. Frank Murd will officiate the Graveside Service at 12.:30 p.m. Saturday, at St. Mary Catholic cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 5-7 p.m., tonight, at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home.

Arlene S. Brenamen
Fremont homemaker
Arlene S. Brenamen, 45, of 1229 Siler St., Fremont, died at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at Firelands Hospital, Sandusky. She was born Aug. 6, 1955 to Glen and Claribel (Wasserman) Decker, and both survive. On Nov. 21, 1975 she married
Guy Brenamen, and he survives in Fremont.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Amber Brenamen of Fremont and April and Adrianne Brenamen, both at home; four brothers, Scott Decker of Mukilteo, WA., Steve, Bob and Lee Decker all of Fremont; four sisters, Joanne Decker of Ida, Mich., Elaine Roosen, Pat Leemaster and Linda Domiray, all of Fremont.
Mrs. Brenamen was a homemaker and member of St. Ann Catholic Community. A volunteer at Heartbeat Pregnancy Crisis Center.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home.
Visitation hours are from 6-9 p.m. Monday.

Julia A. Dundovich

Julia A. Dundovich, 76, of Keewatin, MN., died on Friday, May 4, 2001 at the Leisure Hills Care Center in Hibbing, MN. She was born Sept. 9, 1924 to Michael and Tekla (Bilo) Kuriatnyk. She married
John P. Dundovich, and he survives in Keewatin, MN.
Other survivors include: a son, Michael Dundovich of San Diego, CA.; three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Nisius of Tiffin, Patricia Dundovich of Minneapolis, MN. and Mrs. Pamela LaBine of Keewatin; two brothers, John Kuriatnyk of Keewatin and Frank Kuriatnyk of Portland, OR.; nine grandchildren, Gregory and Jeffrey Nisius, Ashley, Allison and Melissa Dundovich, Stephanie Dundovich-Moe, Jill, John and Joy LaBine.
Deceased are: four brothers, Mike, Steve, Andy and Bill Kuriatnyk; and a sister Mary Schmidt.
Mrs. Dundovich was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Keewatin, and the Keewatin Senior Citizens group. She enjoyed spending time with family and creating Ukranian Easter eggs and teaching others the art.
The Rev. Ron Gagne celebrated The Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at St, Mary's Catholic Church. A private internment was held at Maple Hill cemetery in Hibbing, MN.
The Dougherty Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Patricia Ann Best Zoeller

Patricia Ann Best Zoeller, 66, of 104 N. SR 101, died Thursday, May 10, 2001, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born Feb. 28, 1935, in Iberia to Edward Joseph and Nettie (Kinney) Best and married
Francis J. Zoeller on June 9, 1956, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. He died Jan. 3, 1976.
Survivors include: two sons, Michael Francis of Port Clinton and Stephen John of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. Don (Pamela Sue) Wertz and Mrs. Tim (Cheryl Kay) Chaney of Tiffin, and Mrs. Chris (Diane Marie) Shook of Battle Creek, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, William of Bucyrus, and Gene of Lima; and a sister, Juanita Kibler of Bucyrus.
Her parents and a brother, Robert Edward, are deceased.
Mrs. Zoeller graduated from Nevada High School; was an assembler at General Electric; a homemaker; and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the St. Mary Holy Spirit Prayer Group.
The Rosary will be recited at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in the St. Mary Catholic Church followed by the funeral mass at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Stripe officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home where a wake service will be conducted at 3:45 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association/Seneca County Unit, the Community Hospice Care or to St. Mary Catholic Church.

Grace L. Byers, 79, of 5850 Margate Blvd., Margate, Fla., died at 10:25 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2001, in Coral Plaza Retirement Home, Margate, Fla.
She was born in Fostoria to Albert and Marie (Osterholt) Witacre. She married
Raymond A. Byers on April 25, 1953, in Fostoria. He died Oct. 11, 1989.
A son, Albert R. of Houston, Texas, survives.
Mrs. Byers was a homemaker; member of High Street United Methodist Church Fostoria, Daughters of Union Veterans, and Order of Eastern Star #94 Fostoria for over 40 years.
The Rev. Jeffrey Waite will officiate at the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria. Interment will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
