Allison Bishopric, Jr.
Allison Bishopric Jr., 97, a member of the family that founded Bishopric Products Co. in Cincinnati, died Friday in Palm Beach, Fla.
He lived in Amagansett, N.Y., and was the great-grandson of Mark Bishopric, founder of the city of Ottawa, Canada.
Services were Wednesday at the Church of the Advent, Walnut Hills. Memorials: Olympus Center, Cincinnati, or St. Thomas Church, Amagansett.

Robert Hill, probation officer and IRS rep
Robert Hill, 56, of Bond Hill, died Jan. 23.
He was an assistant news director with WGUC-FM while attending the University of Cincinnati, a community center director for the Cincinnati Recreation Commission and a substitute teacher with Great Oaks Joint Vocational Center.
The Taft High School graduate also was an Army veteran, a probation officer and a contact representative with the Internal Revenue Service.
Mr. Hill leaves his mother, Eula Hill, and children, Belinda and Eric Hill and Robert Rodgers.

Joseph Ventre, supervisor
Joseph L. Ventre was a caring, dedicated family man who enjoyed his many years of service with the city of Cincinnati.
Mr. Ventre, 71, of Western Hills, died Wednesday.
He was a retired supervisor with the Highway Maintenance Department where he worked for 35 years.
Three of his sons - Steven, Douglas and Gregory - are members of the Cincinnati Police Division.
Another son, Jeffrey, works for the city in traffic engineering.
For years Mr. Ventre helped operate the youth football program at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church in Westwood. He also was a past Grand Knight of the Purcell Council, Knights of Columbus.
He also leaves his wife, Elsie Farson Ventre; another son, Daniel of Cincinnati; a daughter, Karen Wall; a sister, Caroline Acito of Cincinnati and 11 grandchildren.
Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church in Camp Washington . Visitation: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Dalbert & Woodruff Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave., Westwood.

Mary Ann Hall Boehner, mother, businesswoman
Mary Ann Hall Boehner, the mother of U.S. Rep. John Boehner, was proud of her family and devoted to her church, Sts. Peter and Paul in Reading.
Mrs. Boehner bore 12 children, three girls and nine boys. All of the boys played football for Jerry Faust at Moeller High School where they all were graduated.
"She was very fond of Moeller football and Jerry Faust," said Robert Boehner, her eldest. "We even followed the games after all the boys had graduated.
"She was a hard worker, very independent and strong willed. She loved to travel and loved to visit her son John in Washington ."
Mrs. Boehner owned and operated the family business, Andy's Cafe on Vine Street in Carthage, which was founded by her husband's father.
Mrs. Boehner died Wednesday at the age of 71.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Patrick's Knights of Columbus 1747, Reading Seniors and Reading Republican Club.
In addition to Robert and John, she leaves seven other sons, Stephen, Rick, Drew, Greg, Peter, Jerry and Michael; three daughters, Nancy Roell, Linda Meineke and Susan Boehner; 21 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Mass for Mrs. Boehner is 7 p.m. today at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Reading.
