Carl Ross Maniaci
MARION -- Carl Ross Maniaci, 79, 719 Silver St., passed away at 7:05 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at Woodside Village, Mount Gilead.
Born Nov. 16, 1922, in Newark, he was the son of the late Nicolas and Nancy (Ercolana) Maniaci.
He was owner/operator of Freda's Carry Out.
He is survived by a sister, Mary (Carmen) Caruso, Marion. Two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at St. Mary's Cemetery with the Rev. Father James Klima officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements by Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors.
Edward A. Arthur
PROSPECT -- Edward A. Arthur, 77, 409 N. East St., Prospect, passed away at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at Heartland of Bucyrus.
Born Jan. 31, 1925, in Marion County, he was the son of the late Edward Grant and Nellie (Eaches) Arthur.
He was timekeeper at the Marion Power Shovel for 35 years, retiring in 1988. He attended Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Marion.
He is survived by three sons, Jim (Linda) Arthur of Napoleon, David Arthur of Texas and Don (Patti) Arthur of Prospect; a sister, John (Fannie) Arthur of LaRue; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Edward C. Arthur, seven brothers and sisters.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at Boyd Funeral Home with the Rev. C.L. Fuqua officiating. Burial is at a later date. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Neil Brady
MOUNT GILEAD -- Neil Brady, age 77, of Mount Gilead, passed away Wednesday Nov. 6, 2002, at the Morrow County Hospital.
Memorial services will be held Thursday Nov. 14, 2002 at 2 p. m. at the Craven Funeral Home in Mount Gilead. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Morrow County Hospital.
Louise H. Chapman
MOUNT GILEAD -- Louise H. Chapman, age 83, of Ohio 95, Mount Gilead, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, in the Extended Care Facility at Morrow County Hospital.
She was born Oct. 7, 1919, in Chester Township, Ohio, the daughter of Rollin and Suzie (Robinson) Kunze and had been a resident of Morrow County all her life. She was a member of the Chesterville United Methodist Church, being active in WSCS, directing choir and teaching Sunday School.
She is survived by her husband, Oris C. Chapman, whom she married Sept. 3, 1938; two sons Donald (Louella) Chapman of Mount Gilead, and Max (Jane) Chapman of Racine Wis.; a daughter Jeannette (Mike) Warwick of Mount Gilead; eight grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, and a sister, Fern Smith of California.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie and John Neil Kunze, and a sister, Imogene Skinner.
Friends may call at the Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Gilead on Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. The Rev. Joe Sopher will conduct funeral services there Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Chesterville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gilead Christian School.
N. Grace (Schuler) Piecha
FORT WORTH, Texas -- N. Grace (Schuler) Piecha, 71, Cleburne, Texas, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at Fort Worth Medical Center Plaza.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday at Bringman Clark & Co. in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, with the Rev. Derik Hines officiating. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery where
military services will be conducted by local service organizations. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Leonard Ray Blevins Jr.
MARION -- Leonard Ray Blevins Jr., 33, of Marion, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, at his residence.
Born April 3, 1969, in Marion, he was the son of the late Leonard Sr. and Marilyn (Christian) Blevins.
On Oct. 21, 1991, in Marion, he married Jeanette (Sisson) and she survives.
A lifetime resident of Marion, he was formerly a fork lift operator with Sims Brothers.
Also surviving are his daughter, Megan Ann Blevins, at home and two brothers, Frank Blevins of Marion, and Eddie Blevins of Mount Vernon.
The family would like to thank his caregiver Lorraine Hix for the comfort she provided to Leonard and the family.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at Boyd Funeral Home with the Rev. Delmar Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Quality of Life Hospice.
