Marjorie Ann Smith
Marjorie Ann Smith, age 75, of Zanesville, Ohio, beloved wife,mother and
homemaker, died at 5:11p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2002 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio.
She was born September 27, 1926 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of
the late Donald H. and Olive W. Huff Parker. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir for many years.
Surviving her husband, Clarence W. (C. W.) Smith of the home,two daughters, Marla Kay Freeman of Mansfield OH, and Denise Colleen (Paul) Allen of Zanesville, one son Kerry Lynn (Jeanna) Smith of Crystal River,FL.,three grandchildren,Kyle (Angela) Freeman of Mansfield, and Ryan and Natalie Allen of Zanesville, one great grandchild, Makayla Freeman of Mansfield, two sisters, Mary (Robert) Imlay and Kathryn (Fred) Wright, both of Zanesville, and one sister in-law Sarah Parker of Laurel, Delaware.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Richard Parker.
Friends may call 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Monday July 22,2002 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville Ohio, and one hour prior to services at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at the Central Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ray Morrison, Rev. Bill Briggs and Sister Nadine Overbeck officiating.
Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Presbyterian Church, 40 N. 6th St., Zanesville, Ohio, 43701.
William R. Bowman
William R. Bowman, 76, of Zanesville, Ohio died at 10:55 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2002 at Genesis Hospice, Morrison House.
He was born October 27, 1925 at Zanesville, Ohio a son of the late Weldon & Marie Hysel Bowman. He was a truck driver for Nichols Bread and a member of Central Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, William ( Bonnie) Bowman Jr. of Sacramento, CA., Thomas L. (Marcia) Bowman of Zanesville, daughter Vicki Lee ( Mike) McIntosh of Petersburg, Alaska, brother, Gilbert Bowman of Zanesville, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, his wife, Betty Church Bowman, two brothers, Jerry & Donald Bowman.
No calling hours will be observed. A caring cremation has taken place. Bolin Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice, Morrison House.
Charles Adams
Charles Quincy Adams, 93, of Zanesville, Ohio died at 7:05 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2002 at Adams Lane Care Center.
He was born July 26, 1908 at Antiquity, Ohio a son of the late Millard P. & Bertha Adeline Cramlet Adams. He retired as a carpenter and was a baptist by faith.
Surviving are one son, Charles M. Adams of Mesa, AZ, six daughters, Janice Bogue of Glendale AZ, Bonita Snyder of Hagerstown, Maryland, Juanita Thompson of Oregon, Carolyn Fenton of Washington, Evelyn Lyall of Zanesville, and Kathleen Vansickle of Adamsville, Ohio. Five sisters, Addie Cummins of Pomeroy, Ohio, Dorothy Calihan, Velma Wilson, Kathleen Pollock,and Mary Ellen Roe all of Zanesville, 30 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren, and 10 Great Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, his wife, Jessie Noel Adams, who died in 1992, two brothers, Ray & John Adams, one sister, Eleanore Metcalf.
No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at Duncan Falls Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio.
Richard F. George
Richard F. George,age 83, of Zanesville, Ohio went to be with his Lord at 5:10 a.m. Saturday July 20, 2002 at Genesis Bethesda Hospital.
He was born July 25, 1918 in Akron Ohio, the son of the late Pearl C. & Florence Harris George. Mr. George was the Manager of Corporate Truck Operations at Mc Graw Edison where he worked for 40 years retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ, where he served as a former Consistory member, an Army Veteran of World War II, and a life member of the Elks Lodge # 114.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley (Randy) Herr of Fenton Mo. and Karen (Richard) Fulkerson of South Zanesville, one son Larry (Ada) George of Columbus, Ohio,a 1/2 sister,Helen Matheney of IN.,nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Edna M. Bennett George, February 19, 2002,by a son Stephen R. George, September 7, 1985, by a brother Russell C. George and a 1/2 sister Beulah Bowers.
Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 Monday July 22, 2002 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. Zanesville, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Earhart officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park with VFW George Selsam Post 1058 holding
military services at the gravesite.

Evelyn " Jean" McDonald
Evelyn " Jean" McDonald, age 73, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 10:45 p.m. Saturday July 13, 2002 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born November 15, 1928, in Dresden Ohio, the daughter of the late Albert W. and Cecil Mae Gardner Gadd. A lifelong resident of Zanesville, Mrs. McDonald retired in 1994 from the Good Samaritan Hospital where she worked for 30 years as an operator/manager of the switchboard. She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
Surviving are her children,Marcy K. (Michael) O'Brien of Shade, Kevin Craig McDonald, Marilyn Sue (John) Tredway and Terry L. (Rose) McDonald all of Zanesville, one brother, Roland C. (Jan) Gadd of Middletown, three grandchildren, David Cornell Jr.,Brittany Rayann McDonald, and Mark A. McDonald, two great grandchildren, Kaylyn and Evan Cornell and a special friend Ralph "Dreaner" Mills of Zanesville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles V. McDonald and her brother Albert Dewitt Gadd.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 18,2002 at Zanesville Memorial Park with Rev. John Earhart officiating. No calling hours will be observed. The Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. Zanesville entrusted with arrangements.

Geneva M. Miller
Geneva M. Miller, 71, of Zanesville, Ohio died at 5:30 p.m., Friday July 12,2002 at her
residence.
She was born September 8, 1930 at Dresden, Ohio a daughter of the late Elmer E. & Anna Knoch Archibald. She had worked for Montgomery Ward, Timken Roller Bearings as a payroll clerk and for Oxford Oil. She was a member of VFW George Selsam Post 1058 Ladies Auxillary, American Legion Post 29 Ladies Auxillary, and a methodist by faith.
Surviving is one daughter, Deborah ( Larry) Grear of Zanesville and many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, her husband, Russell L. Miller, who died June 14, 1990, one sister, Mary Jean Bates and one brother, William ( Dean) Archibald.
Friends may call from 2-5 p.m Sunday, July 14, 2002 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2002 with Pastor Kenneth Chase officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
Haley Dawn Allen
Haley Dawn Allen, nine day old daughter of Nikole Allen of Zanesville and Eric
Wiseman of East Fultonham Ohio, died at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2002 at Children's Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
She was born July 3, 2002 at Ohio State University Hospital.
Surviving besides her parents, her grandparents, Randy and Lea Allen of Zanesville,Kathy Angles and David Murray of Zanesville,Wally Wiseman of East Fultonham and Diane Perry of Shawnee Oh.,Cindy Wiseman and Brad Pressacco of Port Washington, great grandparents, Ruth Wolf of Zanesville, and John Wolfe of Newark,Bud & Donna Allen of Zanesville, June Wiseman of East Fultonham, Bev & Ted Fisher of Canton and Rita & Tom Wesney of Rushville Oh. and Great Great Grandparents, Celia & Hoyt Painter of Dayton,Her uncles, Brady

She was preceded in death by an uncle Dustin Adams and a great grandfather Walter Wiseman.
