OAKWOOD — Patricia Kay "Pat" Mason, 51, died at 3:45 p.m. (EDT) Thursday, June 19, 2003, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born June 25, 1951, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (Stutz) Miller. On Nov. 18, 1968, she married Gary L. Mason, who survives.
Mrs. Mason was a personnel manager at Wal-Mart in Bryan.
Other survivors include two sons, Gary Mason Jr. of Oakwood and Edward Mason of Defiance; six brothers, Billy (Karen) Miller of Cape Coral, Fla., Jimmy (Cindy) Miller and Gary (Deb) Miller, both of Van Wert, Ronald Miller of Fort Wayne, Michael (Mary) Miller of Valley Center, Kan., and Marvin Miller of Sandusky; one sister, Marcia (Bryan) Pancake of Van Wert, and two grandchildren, Chase and Savannah Mason of Defiance.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. (EDT) Tuesday at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, the Rev. Robert Merriman officiating. Burial will be in Little Auglaize Cemetery, Melrose.
Calling hours are 2-9 p.m. (EDT) Monday and 8 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Donna Jean Zolman
Died: Thursday, June 19, 2003
Age: 68
OHIO CITY — Donna Jean Zolman, 68, of Ohio City, died Thursday morning, June 19, 2003, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 4, 1935, in Adams County, Ind., the daughter of George R. Bragg of Ohio City and the late Ruby Pearl (Foster) Bragg. On April 26, 1953, she married Harold Earlen "Bill" Zolman, who preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1976.
Mrs. Zolman was a homemaker.

Sons — Robert Jason (Samantha) Zolman of St. Petersburg, Fla., William Joseph Zolman of Florida
Brother — Donald E. (Brenda) Bragg of Ohio City
Sister — Joyce D. (Larry) Krugh of Ohio City
Two grandchildren and a niece, Cheryl Ann Legg of Celina, also survive.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Joan Bragg.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Revs. Paul Eichar and David Kuthenia officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.

John Robert Danylchuk
Died: Wednesday, June 18, 2003
Age: 59
KILLEEN, Texas — Sgt. 1st Class John Robert "Scottie" Danylchuk, 59, of Killeen, formerly of Van Wert, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at a Texas hospital.
The funeral was held Saturday, June 21, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen with the Rev. Bok H. Lew officiating.
Burial with full
military honors followed at Killeen Memorial Park in Killeen.
He was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Largs, Scotland.
His
military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal with "V" device, the Purple Heart, the Army Commendation Medal with an oakleaf cluster and "V" device, the Good Conduct Medal with bronze clasp and five loops, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with three battle stars, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Combat Infantry Badge, the Valorous Unit Award, the Presidential Unit Citation, the Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with palm, the Republic of Korea Presidential Citation Badge and the Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Medal Unit Citation Badge.
Danylchuk was retired from the U.S. Army and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9192, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 29 and the 75th Ranger Regiment Association.
He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 218 and the Korean Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Young Danylchuk of Killeen, Texas ; three sons, Scott (Tina) Danylchuk of Van Wert, Robert (Jayne) Danylchuk of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Craig Danylchuk of Van Wert; one daughter, Jaime (Craig) Schaffer of Van Wert, and eight grandchildren.
Danylchuk was preceded in death by his parents, John Danylchuk and Ann (Arthur) Margerison.
Preferred memorials are to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Association.
Jack G. Fox
Died: Wednesday, September 17, 2003
Age: 59
VENEDOCIA — Jack G. Fox, 59, of Venedocia died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at Cleveland Clinic.
He was born Feb. 22, 1944, in Celina, the son of the late Jack F. and Rosemary (Hull) Fox. On Aug. 15, 1996, he married Juanita "Nita" Mullett, who survives in Venedocia.
Mr. Fox was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict.

Sons — Derick (Linda) Fox of Panama City, Fla., Aaron (Robin) Fox of Leipsic, Dustin Fox of Columbus and Robert Halsell of Venedocia
Daughters — Jennifer (Scott) Frick of Leipsic, Crystal Fox of Toledo and Cammi Arnold of Venedocia
Sister — Linda (Larry) Collins of Venedocia
Brother — Larry (Donna) Fox of Van Wert
Eleven and a half grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William Fox.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel, Delphos, the Rev. Russel Manus officiating.
military grave rites will be conducted by the Delphos Veteran’s Council.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. today and an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Michael C. Maloney
Died: Wednesday, September 17, 2003
Age: 84
DELPHOS — Michael C. Maloney, 84, of Delphos died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at Vancrest Health Care Center, Delphos.
He was born March 1, 1919, in Lima, the son of the late Leonard and Alice (Helt) Maloney. On April 4, 1940, he married Helen L. Nay, who survives in Delphos.
Mr. Maloney, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, retired from the Ford Motor Company after 15 years working in machine repair. He had worked for Westinghouse for 27 years prior to that. He was an avid hunter and shooter and enjoyed fishing.
Other survivors include four sons, Robert (Carol) Maloney of Middle Point, Stephen (Gloria) Maloney of Wapakoneta, Rodney (Cheryl) Maloney of Delphos and Jeff (Deborah) Maloney of Kansas; a daughter, Carol (Don) Richards of Van Wert; one sister, Elizabeth Schmelzer of Delphos; two brothers, Dick Maloney of Delphos and Dan Maloney of Conersville, Ind.; nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ann.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel, Delphos, the Rev. Ron Lumm officiating. Burial will be in Venedocia Cemetery with full
military grave rites conducted by the Delphos Veteran’s Council.
Calling hours are 5-8 p.m. today and noon to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Donella Lynn Cornelius
Died: Wednesday, September 17, 2003
Age: 50
Donella Lynn Cornelius, 50, of Van Wert died at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert.
She was born Feb. 16, 1953, in Van Wert, the daughter of Roger L. Martz, who survives in Bryan, and the late Marylou (Dunlap) Martz.
Ms. Cornelius was employed at Private Duty Nursing of Community Health Professionals. She was a dedicated Cougar football fan.
Other survivors include her stepmother, Evelyn Martz of Bryan; five daughters, Michele Contreras and Lisa Kline, both of Van Wert, Christy Compton of Kendallville, Ind., and Kimberly Kline and Casey Cornelius, both of Van Wert; two brothers, Mike (Paula) Martz of Wolcottville, Ind., and Kevin (Tanya) Martz of Campbellsville, Ky.; nine grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other extended family members. She cared for Rory Bigelow of Van Wert and also leaves behind a special friend, Dave Horner of Van Wert.
She was preceded in death by her children’s father, Forest Clarence "Twig" Kline.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Barry McCune of First United Brethren Church officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.
Calling hours are 2-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is the family.
