Mr. Rauch was a charter member of the Newbury Fire Department, where he had served as fire chief for 13 years and a member of the Newbury United Community Church. He was an avid bowler and golfer. His pride and joy was his restored 1957 Chevy pickup truck that could be seen around Newbury as soon a spring broke. He is survived by his wife Lillian of Newbury Twp., daughter Jodi (William) Almstead of Chardon, sons Donald A. Rauch of Newbury Twp. and Raymond Rauch of Newbury Twp. 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Grant of Orlando, FL. His parents Louis F. and Elizabeth (Nee: Gynn) Rauch are deceased. Mrs. Graham was the oldest of 11 children. For over 20 years, she was the cook for the Sisters of the Ursline Order, St. Mary’s in Mentor and Humility of Mary, Painesville. She enjoyed crocheting and collecting recipes. Mrs. Graham’s passion was baking. She is survived by her son Hugh J. (Marilyn) Graham, III of Fairport Harbor, daughter Mary Ellen (Steve) Huszai of Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren Hugh J. (Melissa) Graham IV of Perry Twp., John (Norma) Graham of Painesville, Kristen Huszai of Germantown, MD; great grandchildren Jessica Presley, Michele Graham, Katie Keltto, Hugh Graham V, Autumn Graham and sisters Mildred Kirbish of Euclid and Rosemary Kovacic of Hartsgrove. Her husband Hugh J. Graham, Jr., whom she married
November 26, 1936, preceded her in death January 2, 1958. Her parents Joseph and Mary (nee: Ziegler) Valvoda, 6 brothers and 2 sisters are also deceased.

Mrs. Ott Schmidt was born in East Cleveland, OH, and has resided in Chardon since 1976, having moved from Garfield Hts., OH. She had been a meat Wrapper for TOPPS Supermarkets. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed gardening an traveling. Survivors include her husband, Edwin Schmidt of Chardon; Sons, Daniel (Kellye) Ott of Lebanon, OH, Martin (Kelly) Ott of Charleston, SC, and Kevin (Hollie) Ott of Akron, OH; Daughter Christien (Todd) McMahon of Northridge, CA; 6 Grandchildren. Her parents, Joseph and Florence (Lucas) Tomalesky are deceased. Jane Suits (nee: Conley)

Jane (Conley) Suits, 89, of Munson Township, a homemaker, died September 26, 2004, at the Corine Dolan Center in Munson Township. Born October 16, 1914, in Cleveland, she lived in Cleveland Heights before moving to Munson Township in 1971. Mrs. Suits was a mom. Her life was devoted to her children and grandchildren. Survivors are her daughters, Karen (Chip) Chakford and Marilyn Dietrich, both of Munson Township; and grandsons, Craig (Lisa) Chakford of Austin, Texas, Chris (Belinda) Chakford of Howell, Mich. and Michael Osmeloski of Munson Township. Her husband, Frederick C. Suits, whom she married
November 19, 1938, in Cleveland, preceded her in death July 23, 2000. Her parents, Wilfred and Helen (Post) Conley; and sisters, Vera Radebaugh and Hope Ryan, are also deceased. Private family burial will be at Maple Hill cemetery in Munson Township at a later date. The family suggests contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association, Cleveland Area Chapter, 12200 Fairhill, Cleveland 44120.
Herbert F. 'Bud' Reminder, II

Services: A Memorial Mass for Herbert F. Bud Reminder II, 61, of Burton, will be noon Friday, October 1, 2004, at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Road (St. Rt. 87), Newbury. The Rev. Jay McPhillips of St. Helen's will officiate at services.

Herbert F. Bud Reminder II, 61, of Burton, died Sept. 26, 2004, at Burton Health Care in Burton. He was born Nov. 13, 1942, in Cleveland. Bud was a member of Laborer's Local 310 and Cement Finisher's Local 404 for many years and was very proud of the work he did. He was an avid hunter and he enjoyed fishing. He was generous, kind, compassionate, and had a good sense of humor. Mr. Reminder worked as a cement mason for Union Hall Local Hall 404, Concrete Building Systems. Survivors are his son, Brian (Angela) Reminder of West Jordan, Utah; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Christian Reminder; sisters, Mary (Paul) Barcikoski of Troy Township, Rita (John) Dutton of Chardon, and Joan (Bruce) Luther Volny of Auburn Township; brothers, Richard Reminder of Burton and Thomas (Dianne) Reminder of Hiram; nieces and nephews, Paul (Noemi) Barcikoski, Gary (Rachel) Barcikoski, John and Michael Dutton, Quenton Oliver Reminder, and Joe Luther; and great-nieces and nephews, Monica, Austin, and Olivia. He also leaves his companion, Naomi Sawyer of Orwell. His parents, Herbert F. and Rita (Caputo) Reminder; son, Herbert F. Scott Reminder; and niece, Julie Luther, are deceased. A private family burial will be at All Souls cemetery in Chardon Township at a later date.

Mr. Mead was the Chief Financial Officer for Heinen’s Food Stores in Cleveland for 1 year, previously being the CFO for Things Remembered in Cleveland for 7 years. He was a graduate of Kenston High School, Bainbridge Twp., received his BS degree from Cleveland State University and Masters Degree from Kent State. Mr. Mead’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing guitar, gardening and was an avid Browns fan. Susvivors include his wife Carol (nee: Hrvatin) Mead of Munson Twp., daughter Jill (Chad) Faber of Willoughby, son Steve (Florencia) Mead of Washington, DC, grandchildren Ellie and Ethan Faber, father Robert Mead of Michigan, sisters Marti Macko and Chris Johnson of Hudson, Irene (Tom) Mead-Broadbent, Anne Mead and Beth (Mark) Seacord all of Michigan and brother Bill (Linda) Mead of Cincinnati. His mother Marian (nee: Eister) Mead is deceased.

Mr. Henk was a 2002 graduate of Chardon High School. He was the Shop Ambassador of the Auto Body Shop at Auburn Career Center. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Henk was also very active in Motocross, dirt bikes. Survivors include his mother Wanda Olp of Mayfield Hts., father Thomas E. Henk of Hambden Twp., brother Kyle Henk of Hambden Twp., grandfather Oliver (Wanda) Olp of Montville Twp., grandmother Phyllis Scott of Hagerstown, MD, great grandmother Margaret Mortimer of Eastlake, grandmother Katheryn Henk of Mentor. His grandfather Carl Henk is deceased.
Pearl K. Leleszi (nee: Kocsi)

Mrs. Leleszi immigrated to the United States in 1951 after WWII. She and her husband both grew up in the same village, but he came to this country as a much younger man. They met again after many years and spent 47 years together. She took great pride in her home and family. She was an excellent cook, gardener and loved Hungarian Cookouts. The most important thing in her life was her daughter and son in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Leleszi was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church, Walton Hills, OH. Survivors include her daughter Esther (George) White of Troy Twp., grandchildren George (Kristen) White of Aurora, Chrissy White (Jon) Platek of Aurora, and Jeremy White of Las Cruces, NM; great grandchildren Summer White and Christian Platek, sister Ellsie of Hungary, cousin Steve (Susan) Lorincz of Maple Hts.; many nieces and nephews in Hungary. Her husband John Leleszi, parents Steven and Priscilla Kocsi, sister Esther and brother Mike are all deceased.
Gale Eugene Hazen

Mr. Hazen was the Owner/operator of Hazen Contracting, Munson Twp.His father started the business in 1927. He has worked with the family since he was a teen. Mr. Hazen was known for plowing snow and road work for Munson Township until 1979. He was a member of the Geauga County Fair Band and the Rube Band for more than 50 years. Mr. Hazen took great joy in music and playing his trumpet. He was an active lifelong member of the Fowler’s Mill Christian Church, where he shared his music each week with the Praise Team. Mr. Hazen and his parents played “Round” dances at local Granges, for many years. He was a member of the former Munson Grange and currently a 50 year member of the Hambden Grange. Mr. Hazen was a great historian, as his family was the forth family to settle in Munson Twp. In the early 1800’s. He was a very proud family man, and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Margaret (nee: Winchell) Hazen of Hambden Twp., children Sharon (Jim) Ilersich of Mesopotamia, Jeff (Karen) Hazen of Munson Twp., grandchildren Rebecca (Neil) Yost of Mesopotamia, Jessica (Tor) Eastlake of Mesopotamia, Samantha Ilersich of Mesopotamia, Jennifer (David) Fay of Munson Twp., Daniel Hazen of Munson Twp., and Jordan Hazen of Munson Twp., great grandchildren Nicholas and Zachary Fay, sisters Glenda Baker of Munson Twp. and Joanne Friel of Chardon, Many nieces and a nephew.
