ASHTABULA - Anthony Robert Vincenzo, 71, died Tuesday, September 14, 1999, at University Hospitals, Cleveland.

Willard L. Zeller
CONNEAUT - Willard L. Zeller, 86, died Monday, Sept. 13, 1999, at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Willoughby, following a brief illness.
He served with the Army in World War II. A technical sergeant, he was stationed in the South Pacific. He was a surgical technician in a field hospital and administered penicillin when it was first used by the Army medical staff for all wounded patients. Mr. Zeller was awarded the Bronze Star in 1945 and discharged in 1946.
Mr. Zeller was in the funeral home business all of his life. He was employed by the Millard Son & Raper Funeral Home for 19 years, the Nickels Funeral Home of Lakewood for eight years, and the Joseph Schulte Funeral Home in South Euclid for six years. He retired from the funeral business in 1976.
He received his plaque from the Ohio Funeral Directors Association for 50 years of service. He was a Past Master of Woodward Lodge No. 508 Free and Accepted Masons and a member of the Lyndhurst Masonic Senior Citizens Club.
Mr. Zeller is survived by three sons, Richard V. of Willowick, James D. of Lakewood, and Rex M. of Mentor; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Amboy cemetery in Conneaut.
The Nickels Funeral Home of Lakewood is handling arrangements.
Winifred F. Braden
HUDSON, Wis. - Former Ashtabula resident Winifred F. Braden, 88, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at the Christian Community Home in Hudson, Wis.

Eric W. Bunn
CLEVELAND - Eric W. Bunn, 17, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland, from injuries sustained in a traffic crash.
Born Aug. 18, 1982, in Warren, he was a son of Yvonne R. and John D. Bunn Jr.
The Grand Valley High School student had been a lifelong Orwell resident.
He was a member of the high school football team.
He enjoyed reading about sports, roller skating, bike riding and playing with his dog, Rocky.
Survivors include his mother; a brother, John D. III; a sister, Nech'e D. (Stefan) Mayo of Cleveland Heights; and a maternal grandmother, Annie L. Johnson of Boston.
He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandfather, James B. Johnson; and paternal grandparents, Virginia and John D. Bunn Sr.
Funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday at Windsor United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Alton L. Merrill, of the New Jerusalem Fellowship Church, Warren, officiating. Burial will be in the Orwell North cemetery.
Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Philomena M. Contino
CONNEAUT - Philomena M. Contino, 85, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at her Conneaut residence, from cancer.
Born Feb. 18, 1914, in Conneaut, she was a daughter of Jess and Mary (Ruberto) Chicatelli.
She married
Pasquale Contino on Sept. 5, 1935, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Conneaut.
She was a 1933 graduate of Conneaut Senior High School.
The lifelong Conneaut resident was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Cara Mia Club.
She enjoyed church activities, gardening and cooking for her family.
Survivors by two sons, Anthony of Circleville and Jesse of St. Louis; a daughter, Ann Marie Livingston of Macedonia; 14 grandchildren; nine great - grandchildren; and a sister, Anna Nappi of Ashtabula.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Leeta DiNardo; three sisters, Lena Prisco, Agnes Ross and Florence Bucci; and three brothers, Nicholas, William and Jake Chicatelli.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Frances Cabrini Church, with the Rev. John Summers officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery, Conneaut.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut.
Dorotha M. Corbett
KINGSVILLE TOWNSHIP - Dorotha M. Corbett, 87, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
Born Jan. 19, 1912, in Franklin, Pa., she was a daughter of Howard and Emma (Yokes) Mason.
She had lived on Munson Hill Road in Saybrook Township.
The lifetime area resident was graduated from Dorset High School.
She worked at Acme Scrap in Ashtabula until her retirement.
She was a member of Harris Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Corbett was a founding member of the Dusty Boots Riding Club.
She enjoyed bowling, golfing and riding horses.
Survivors include seven grandchildren, William Corbett, Ronald Loesch and Randy Loesch, Bruce Loftis, Vickie Mozocco, Chris Freede and Kathy Holquin.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William; a son, William H.; a daughter, Phyllis Loftus; and two brothers.
Funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harris Memorial Presbyterian Church, 5807 Adams Ave., Ashtabula, with the Rev. Suzanne Carter officiating. Burial will be in Dorset Township cemetery.
Calling hour is 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Linda Greenfield
LYNN, Mass. - Morris Street resident Linda Greenfield, 43, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Union Hospital in Lynn, Mass., after a lengthy illness.
Born July 28, 1956, in Chelsea, Mass., she was a daughter of David W. and Beverly (Gifford) Kizina.
She was raised in Somerville, Mass. and Conneaut. She had lived in Lynn for 21 years.
She was a 1974 graduate of Edgewood High School and a 1983 graduate of Bay State College in Boston. She also had attended New England Banking Institute.
She was employed by Sears as an assest manager in the bankruptcy department. She was a former employee at Eastern Bank in Lynn.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lynn.
She enjoyed sewing and crafts.
Survivors include her parents; a daughter, Melissa of Lynn; a granddaughter of Lynn; two brothers, David C. Kizina of Ashtabula and William M. Kizina of Conneaut; and a sister, Kathryn Kizina of Conneaut.
Funeral was 10 a.m. Friday at the Solimine, Landergan & Rhodes Funeral Home, 426 Broadway, Lynn, followed by an 11 a.m. service at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial was in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody, Mass.

Philip C. Paulchel
ASHTABULA - Philip C. "Cooney" Paulchel, 68, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, following a two - year battle with ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease.
Born Jan. 15, 1931, in Ashtabula, he was a son of Cosmis and Angeline (Carlo) Paulchel.
On Nov. 23, 1950, he married
Marilyn "Mitzie" Beckman in Mt. Carmel Church.
The lifelong Ashtabula resident graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1948.
He worked for Conrail as a foreman and car repairman until his retirement in 1992.
He was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Church.
He was a former member of the East Ashtabula Club and the American Legion.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling, carpentry and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Ron of San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Justine Dionisopoulos of North Royalton; three grandchildren, Channing, Fallyn and Connor Dionisopoulos of North Royalton; two brothers, James and Anthony Paulchel, both of Ashtabula; and two sisters, Dolores and Angela Luoma, both of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Mother of Sorrows Church, with the Rev. Bernard Gaeta officiating.
There will be no calling hours.

David M. Nixon
ASHTABULA - David Malcomb Nixon, 59, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2000, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
He was born April 16, 1940, in Buffalo, N. Y., and was reared by Crawford G. and Hazel B. (Bowen) Nixon. An Ashtabula resident since 1996, he lived most of his life in Cleveland Heights.
Mr. Nixon was a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, and he attended Lake Community College in Florida for a year.
He was employed by Central National Bank and Leece Neville of Cleveland. Before that, he was a collection manager for the Bank of Palm Beach and Trust.
He also served four years in the Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Judy (Holiger), whom he married
Sept. 18, 1998; a daughter, Sherry Wright of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sons David C., Robert, and Steven Daniel, all of West Palm Beach; four grandchildren; and a sister, Anne Dean of Carrollton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home, 5740 Dibble Road, Kingsville, with the Rev. Joseph D. Markijohn, Pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God, Denmark Township officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Fund of the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
Nicholas Joe Brown
PAINESVILLE Nicholas Joel Brown, 46, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at Lake Hospital in Painesville.
The son of John Brown and Addie Bell Olden Lister, he was born Dec. 28, 1953 in Ashtabula.
He served in the Army and was employed by Hannon Electric Co.
Survivors include his wife, Chris (Harris); daughter Angela Stroud of Ashtabula; son Nicholas Jr.; stepchildren Matt and Amanda Gilbert; two grandchildren; brother Tim of Ashtabula; and sisters Darlene and Tammy Lister of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 W. 19 St., Ashtabula. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove cemetery of Ashtabula.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
James G. Zinn Sr.
MESA, Ariz. - James G. Zinn Sr., 81, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, in Mesa.
He was born in Morgantown, W.Va., and served with the Army during World War II.
A former repairman with Auto Body Shop, he lived and worked in Jefferson for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Mesa; five daughters, Carol Van Slyke of Jefferson, Shirley Hall of Mesa, Faye Burch of Morrison, Okla., June Maynard of Andover and Barbara Robinson of Rock Creek; a son, James Jr. of Beaumont, Texas; a sister, Louise Solida of Hermitage, Pa.; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great - grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Debra Hall.
Service is 1 p.m. today in Mesa.

Margaret M. Harchalk
ASHTABULA - Margaret M. Harchalk, 88, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, in Carington Park Nursing Home.
The daughter of Raymond and Bessie (Brainard) Maltby, she was born July 27, 1911, in Geneva.
She enjoyed her home, sewing and crafts.
Survivors include sons Stephen and Michael Harchalk, both of Ashtabula; daughters Gertrude Schumann of Geneva and Betty McCarty of Ashtabula; six grandchildren; and seven great - grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Harchalk; a sister, Gertrude Robinson; and brothers Roy and Raymond Maltby.
Service is 11 a.m. Monday at Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant cemetery in Geneva.

Magdalene E. Hamm
ASHTABULA - Magdalene E. Hamm, 72, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at her home.
The daughter of Paul and Anna (Rudo) Toth, she was born Sept. 20, 1927, in Ashtabula. She was a 1945 graduate of Ashtabula High School and lived here her entire life.
She wed Charles D. Hamm Oct. 2, 1946.
Mrs. Hamm worked for the Kit - Kat Inn and for Roller Plastics Inc. She belonged to St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching television and game shows, playing the lottery and visiting and entertaining family and friends.
Survivors include daughters Ann Johnson and Cynthia Maki, both of Ashtabula; sons Paul J. of Norfolk, Va., Clarence R. of Ashtabula and Charles Dell Hamm of Geneva; a sister, Ann Spencer of New Philadelphia; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great - grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1979 and a brother, Paul Toth Jr.
Funeral is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 1104 E. 15th St., with the Rev. Edward Gretchko officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.

Gilmer O. Clay
MADISON - Gilmer O. Clay, 60, a Madison resident since 1950, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at LakeEast Hospital in Painesville.
The son of Dennis and Buella (Schoff) Clay, he was born Oct. 27, 1939, in Branchlin, W. Va.
He married
Rose M. Cogar Sept. 26, 1988, in Madison.
He worked in a machine shop.
Survivors include his wife; daughter Patricia Clay of Ashtabula; son Jeffrey W. Clay of Kirtland; three stepchildren, James W. Rand II of Madison and Clinton A. Rand and Jennifer A. Rand, both of Geneva; five grandchildren; and brothers Smitty Clay of Cleveland and Olen Clay of Huntington, W.Va.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Clay.
Service is 2 p.m. Sunday at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, with the Rev. Robert Gaston, chaplain at LakeEast Hospital, officiating.
Burial will be in Madison Memorial cemetery.
