Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Church of God, Wauseon, with Rev. Wesley Glines officiating. Burial will be in Wauseon Union cemetery. Visitation is from 3-9 p.m. Wednesday in the church. Handling arrangements is Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon.
Preferred memorials are to the church's organ fund.

Services for Rex A. Doyle were held Monday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Yenser officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Pallbearers were Matthew Galusha, Rich and Jim Wagner, Jeremy and Donnie Willitzer and Phil Frederick.
Florace Wieland
Florace E. Wieland, 88, Defiance, died at 12:26 a.m. today in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Surviving is her husband, Albert. Arrangements are pending at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.
Luis Rivera
BRYAN - Luis Rivera, 60, Bryan, died Tuesday evening in Community Hospitals Williams County-Bryan.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Fountain Grove cemetery, Bryan. Visitation is after 9 a.m. Friday in Rice-Burr Funeral Home, Bryan.

BRYAN - Former West Unity resident Alma Faye Shambarger, 103, Bryan, died Wednesday morning in Harborside Healthcare, Bryan.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hollingshead Beck Funeral Home, West Unity, with Rev. Ruth Ann Scoby officiating. Burial will be in Floral Grove cemetery, West Unity. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday.

CECIL - Dale E. Mitchell, 77, Cecil, died Tuesday at his brother's residence in Mark Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with Briscoe Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Live Oak cemetery, Paulding. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Saturday.

FINDLAY - Robert L. LeVeck, 26, Findlay, died at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident on Township Road 232 in Hancock County.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore, with Rev. Howard Mayne officiating. Burial will be in Jerry City cemetery with military rites accorded by North Baltimore American Legion Post 539. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday.

PAULDING - Ambrosio (Andy) Contreraz, 67, Paulding, died Wednesday at his daughter's residence in Defiance.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulding, with Father Dennis Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Live Oak cemetery, Paulding. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

WAUSEON - Pearl Cara Hess, 89, Wauseon, died Tuesday in Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Crossroads Evangelical Mennonite Church, Wauseon, with Pastors Wes Hoffmire and Matt Boyers officiating. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon.

Services for Pamela J. Frederick Boyd were held Thursday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Anderson officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Pallbearers were Bob Federinko, Greg Etter, Doug Davis, Jim Stone, Buz Lantow and Sonny Babcock.
John Colgan
BRYAN - John M. Colgan, 87, Bryan, died at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday in Park View Nursing Center, Edgerton.
He was born Aug. 15, 1915, in Paulding County, the son of Ora and Ruth (Lloyd) Colgan. In 1967, he married
Phyllis Winecoop, who survives. He worked at Precision Products, Defiance, retiring in 1982, and was a member of Bryan Eagles Aerie 2233 and Defiance Moose Lodge 2094.
Also surviving are a son, Larry, Defiance; two sisters, Helen Wickerham and Wreatha Mansfield, both of Arthur; and two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Donna Slight; a sister, Marie Schappe; and a brother, in infancy.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, with Dr. Roger Braun officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

Elizabeth McCreery
BLUFFTON, Ind. - Former Antwerp resident Elizabeth M. McCreery, 102, Bluffton, died at 11:15 p.m. Monday in Meadowvale Care Center, Bluffton.
She was born Oct. 29, 1900, in Hungary, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Estaphan) Tirpak. In 1917, she married
Edward McCreery, who died in 1973. She was the owner of Tastee Freeze, Antwerp.
Surviving are two daughters, Marion Holman of Wabash, Ind., and Julia Taylor, Antwerp; and 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 44 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in were a daughter, Elizabeth; a son, Edward; four brothers, Alex, Andrew, David and Joseph Tirpak; and a sister, Mary Tirpak.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Goodwin Memorial Chapel, Bluffton, with Harrison Williams officiating. Burial will be in Maumee cemetery, Antwerp, with services at 2 p.m. Visitation is after 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
Hugh Dillon
EDON - Hugh H. Dillon, 81, Edon, died at 2:36 p.m. Tuesday in his home.
He was born Jan. 23, 1921 in Hudson, Mich., the son of Ralph and Doris (McNett) Dillon. In 1942, he married
Jeanette Gearhart, who survives. He worked for Dana Weatherhead in Angola, Ind., retiring in 1980, and was a farmer. The World War II U.S. Army veteran was a former member of American Legion Post in Reading, Mich., and Hamilton, Ind., and Indiana Oddfellows Lodge, and a charter member of Hamilton Fish and Game.
Also surviving are two sons, Dan and Larry, both of Edon; a sister, Mrs. Roy (Dorothy) Carncross, Pittsford, Mich.; two half sisters, Mrs. Roger (Marilyn) Osborn of Edon and Mrs. Don (Mildred) Combs, Manhattan, Kan.; and two stepsisters, Thera Wolf of Tecumseh, Mich., and Frances Leonard, Adriann, Mich.; and two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.
Preceding him in death were an infant son and daughter.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Krill Funeral Home, Edon, with Pastor Eric Dailey officiating. Burial will be in Edon cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

Russell Agler
NAPOLEON - Russell (Dewey) F. Agler, 77, Napoleon, died Monday evening in Henry County Hospital, Napoleon.
He was born Nov. 5, 1925, in Napoleon, the son of Dewey and Elzina (Hatcher) Agler. In 1966, he married
Burnice Pfahlert, who survives. He worked at Napoleon Products and Napoleon Elks Lodge 929, retiring from Napoleon City Golf Course in 1986. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving in the South Pacific during World War II, a member of Napoleon Elks Lodge 929 and a life member of Napoleon American Legion Post 300.
Also surviving are a brother, Gary, Napoleon; and two sisters, Mary Ann Bird of Santa Ana, Calif., and Shirley Carpenter, Napoleon.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Eldon and James; and two sisters, Betty Long and Lois Smith.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Revs. Gerald Mallott and Linda Rahe officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood cemetery, Napoleon, with military rites accorded by joint veterans' posts of Napoleon. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Thursday with an Elks memorial service at 7:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Henry County Health Nurses.
Rev. Robert Helberg
NAPOLEON - Rev. Robert W. Helberg, 84, Napoleon, died Monday evening at Henry County Hospital.
He was born March 5, 1918, in Napoleon Township, the son of B.H. and Anna (Tietje) Helberg. In 1945, he married
Emily Klausing, who died in 1976. He attended Ft. Wayne Concordia College and was a graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary, St. Louis, Mo. He was installed as a pastor of First Lutheran Church, Texarkana Texas-Arkansas in 1945 and remained there until retiring in 1980. He was vice-president of the Texas district of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, from 1963-1978. He was a member of the Texas district board of directors and Texas district mission board, an evangelism secretary of Texas district, circuit counselor of the Texas district, Texas district parliamentarian and certified parliamentarian of America. He did substitute preaching in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon.
Surviving are a son, Stephen Helberg, Los Angeles.
Also preceding him in death was a brother, Hubert; and two sisters, Lillian Helberg and Vivian Mann.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, with Revs. Norm Koy and Peter Marcis officiating. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Snyder Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon, and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the church, Lutheran Hour Ministries or a charity of the donor's choice.
Anthony Kuhn
SYRACUSE, Ind. - Former Payne resident Anthony E. Kuhn, 70, Syracuse, died Monday in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Jan. 25, 1932, in Payne, the son of Edward and Victoria (Lucas) Kuhn. His wife, Phyllis, died in 1999. He retired from Dana Corp., having worked in both Antwerp and Syracuse plants, and was a member of Lions Club, Syracuse.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas of Midwest City, Okla., Philip of Goshen and Kurt, Pompano Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Karen Johnson of Boulder, Colo., and Tamara Biller, Defiance; two brothers, John of New Haven, Ind., and Hobart, Payne; three sisters, Christina Schaefer and Clela Sample, both of Payne, and Nila Radenbaugh, St. Helens, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Payne, with Rev. G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Friday in Slade Funeral Home, Payne.
