Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Caspar Catholic Church, Wauseon, with Rev. Robert Holden officiating. Burial will be in St. Caspar cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today in the south wing of the church, with a scriptural wake at 7:30 p.m. Handling arrangements is Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon.

McCOMB - Defiance native LaDonna D. Keeran, 90, McComb, died at 8:10 a.m. Monday in Oak Grove Quality Care Nursing Center, Deshler.
Services were this morning in Hartley Funeral Home, McComb, with Rev. Jeff Harper officiating. Burial was in McComb Union cemetery.

NAPOLEON - Emil Gavris, 54, Napoleon, died Tuesday morning at Henry County Hospital, Napoleon. Arrangements are pending at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon.

SPRINGFIELD - Word was received of the Oct. 1 death of Roger E. Winkler, 59, Springfield, in his home.
Graveside services were held Saturday at Soldiers Mound in Ferncliff cemetery, Springfield. Joens-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home, Springfield, handled arrangements.
Preferred memorials are to Veteran Outpatient Clinic, 510 S. Burnett Road, Springfield.

TOLEDO - Former Defiance resident Irene (Kemper) Schemenauer, 82, Toledo, died Monday at Heartland of Oregon.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Hoeflinger Funeral Home, Oregon. Burial will be in Willow cemetery, Oregon. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Thursday.
Preferred memorials are to Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.

Services for Elizabeth A. Enos were held Tuesday in St. Paul United Methodist Church with Rev. Todd Anderson officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Music was by Marg Sisco and Dave Knipp. Pallbearers were Thomas and Stephen Hubbard, Robert Enos Jr., Mark Galliers, Mike Simmons, Joey Knight, Dr. Michael Stone and Ned Garver Jr. Honorary pallbearers were William Enos, Craig Andrews, Andrew Tuttle and Dr. James Stone. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Services for Sue Ann Reed were held Tuesday in St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Keith Hunsinger officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memory Gardens. Organist was Lori Schultz. Pallbearers were Thomas Seemeyer, Thomas Reed, William Smith and Russell, Ricky and Randy Seip. Honorary pallbearers were Evelyn Boesling, Mary Ehlinger and Patricia Proxmire. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Ted Kline
HAMLER - Ted Kline, 64, Hamler, died at 11:15 p.m. Sunday in Lutheran Home, Napoleon.
He was born Aug. 24, 1938, in Henry County's Harrison Township, the son of Glendon and Francis (Gray) Kline. In 1958, he married
Janis Sausser, who survives. The U.S. Army veteran worked at Tenneco Automotive, Napoleon, for 36 years as a forklift operator before retiring in 1999. He was a member of Raymond Diemer VFW Post 8847, Eagles Aerie 2234, Arthur Dan Petersen AMVETS Post 1313 in Napoleon, Holgate United Methodist Church and Patrick Henry High School Athletic Boosters, a past governor of Napoleon's Moose Lodge 788 and a charter member of Hamler Men's Club.
Also surviving are his father, Canton, Mich.; two sons, Rick of Hamler, and Bruce, Ottawa; a brother, David; a half brother, Randy, Canton; two half sisters, Kathy Weirauch of Napoleon and Judy Quellette, Canton; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his mother; and stepfather, Dale McVetta.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, with Pastor Deb Berry officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today with a Moose service at 7 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Hamler EMS, Lutheran Home or a charity of the donor's choice.

NAPOLEON - Lilly M. Duenweg, 77, Napoleon, died Monday morning at her home. Arrangements are pending at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon.
Norbert Wank
NEW BAVARIA - Norbert J. Wank, 91, New Bavaria, died at 2:50 p.m. Sunday in his home.
He was born Oct. 17, 1910, in Leipsic, the son of Henry and Mary (Zoll) Wank. In 1937, he married
Esther Ruhe, who died in 1970. In 1971, he married
Viola (Ruhe) Doepker, who survives. He was a retired farmer and owner of taverns in Bradner and Leipsic. He was also a former meat cutter in Toledo, Detroit and Leipsic, a former railroad employee and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ottawa Knights of Columbus and Ohio Farm Bureau.
Also surviving are two sons, Paul and Thomas Wank, both of Leipsic; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Nancy) Lonsway of Oregon and Mrs. Jerry (Connie) Miller, Kalida; and 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death was a daughter, Karen; a brother, Harold; four sisters, Lucille Leopold, Anna Marie Kuhlman, Martha Haller and Hilda Wank; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria, with Father Stephen Stanbery officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, with a Knights of Columbus rosary at 8 p.m. and scripture service at 8:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Putnam County Hospice or masses.
Heather Dix
PAULDING - Heather Lea Dix, 35, Paulding, died at 4:05 p.m. Saturday in James Cancer Institute of Ohio State University, Columbus, due to complications following a bone marrow transplant.
She was born Feb. 17, 1967, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Dennis Oberlin and Teri (Lantz) Daniels. In 1990, she married
John Dix, who survives. She was the manager of Paulding Village Apartments, a member of Wayne Trace Music Boosters and member and secretary at Dupont Church of the Brethren.
Also surviving are her mother and stepfather, Teri and Wally Daniels, Cecil; her father and stepmother, Dennis and Wendy Oberlin, Fort Wayne; two daughters, Heidi and Tayla, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Jammie (Lisa) Hughes of Haviland, Mrs. Fazal (Tara) Mehdi of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. Terry (Angie) Dockery, Continental; three brothers, Jeff Oberlin of Friendswood, Texas, Wally Daniels III of Cecil and Christopher Oberlin, Philadelphia; and grandparents, Doris Oberlin and Elizabeth Roberts, both of Bryan, and Jim and Evelyn Lantz, Mansfield.
Preceding her in death was a grandfather, Clyde Oberlin.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Dupont Church of the Brethren with Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul cemetery, Paulding. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the family.

Services for Jeffrey J. Postema were held Monday in St. John's Catholic Church with Father Dennis Walsh officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's Catholic cemetery. Organist was Dave Moninger. Elizabeth Augusta Enos, 97, Defiance, died at 6:15 a.m. Friday in her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church, with Rev. Todd Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the church, Hospice the Caring Way of Defiance County, Arthritis Foundation, Defiance City Schools Foundation or American Heart Association.

PHOENIX, Ariz. - Former Defiance resident Sue Ann Reed, 54, Phoenix, died at 8 a.m. Thursday in Hospice of Arizona, Phoenix.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, with Rev. Keith Hunsinger officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Monday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.

HICKSVILLE - Ira Allen Poper, 85, Hicksville, died at 8:50 a.m. in Park View Nursing Center, Edgerton, where he had been a resident since February.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Wellman officiating. Burial will be in Six Corners cemetery, where graveside military services will be accorded by the Hicksville VFW. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday.

HAVILAND - James L. Goins, 64, Haviland, died at 3:45 a.m. Friday in his home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, with Rev. Don Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek cemetery, Haviland. Visitation is 2:30-8 p.m. today.

RIDGEVILLE CORNERS - Former Defiance resident Robert L. Stewart, 67, Ridgeville Corners, died Friday morning at the Defiance Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Private graveside services will be held Monday in the church cemetery with Pastor Alvia McEwen Martis officiating.
