BELTSVILLE, Md. - Defiance native Henry J. Myers, 90, Beltsville, Md., died July 21 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Beltsville.
Services were July 27 in Maryland.

FORT WAYNE - Services were held Saturday at C.M. Sloan & Son Funeral Home, for Defiance native Jean L. Hitchcock, 77, Fort Wayne, who died at 12:02 p.m. Wednesday in her home.
Pastor Ron Allen officiated at the service. Burial was in Lindenwood cemetery, Fort Wayne.
Preferred memorials are to the Salvation Army or to the church.

PAYNE - Diane Marie King, 43, Payne, died at 11:59 p.m. Sunday in Paulding County Hospital following an extended illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Jacob United Church of Christ, Payne, with Rev. Joseph Allen officiating. Burial will be in Lehman cemetery, Payne. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Wednesday in Slade Funeral Home, Payne.

LEIPSIC - Donald Shaffer, 66, Leipsic, died at 5:45 p.m. Sunday in SCCI Hospital, Lima. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sugar Ridge cemetery, Leipsic, with Pastor Deborah Campbell officiating. There is no visitation. Handling arrangements is Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic.

Services for Richard Wisda were held Monday in St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Dave Tscherne officiating. Organist was Tammie Rettig. Pallbearers were grandsons, Tony and Andy Godfrey, Adam and Alex Stuckey, Denny and Doug Marvin, Matthew, Galen and Brandon Wisda, Brent Warner and Dan Koch. Honorary pallbearers were granddaughters, Rachel Perkins, Diane Pack, Linda Koch, Lynette Cole, Erin Ankney, Sarah Stuckey, Wendy Ponce, Faith Warner, Danielle Wisda and Amanda Crawford. Burial was in the church cemetery. Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home handled arrangements.

NAPOLEON - Services for Lucille W. Hefflinger will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sharon United Methodist Church, Harrison Township, with Rev. Roger Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Hoyt cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today in Walker Mortuary, Napoleon. Preceding her in death were three brothers, William, Herbert and James Rohrbaugh; two sisters, Ila Rohrbaugh and Ruth Mason; and a great-granddaughter.

INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, Fla. - Former Defiance City councilman and area business owner Clarence Richard (Boom) McBroom, 64, Indian Rocks Beach, died Sunday in his home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Napoleon. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens, rural Defiance, with military honors accorded by joint veterans' posts of Napoleon. Visitation is from 1-9 p.m. Friday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, with a Knights of Columbus service at 8:30 p.m., followed by an Elks service at 9 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Alzheimers Association, American Cancer Society, St. Augustine Catholic School or a charity of the donor's choice.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Maumee cemetery, Antwerp, with Rev. Joseph Allen officiating. Military rites will be accorded by Antwerp VFW Post 5087. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. today in Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.
