Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial will be in Live Oak cemetery, Paulding, with military rites accorded by Paulding VFW Post 587. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday.

RIDGEVILLE CORNERS - Esther E. Mohring, 78, Ridgeville Corners, died Wednesday afternoon at her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners, with Rev. Thomas Frey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. today at Snyder Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon.

SHERWOOD - A memorial service for Sherwood resident Hazel Miller, who died July 11, will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday in St. Stephen's Catholic Church, the Bend, with Father William Martin officiating.

Services for Hermie K. Smith were held Thursday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township, with Rev. David Gensch officiating. Music was provided by Jeremiah Gensch and Rev. Joyce Johnston. Pallbearers were Steven, Gregory and Eric Smith, Doug Green, John Duerk, Marvin Arps and Todd Plassman. Honorary pallbearer was Jeff Russell. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Eugene C. Gremling, 85, Defiance, died this morning at Laurels of Defiance. Among survivors is his wife, Rita. Arrangements are pending at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home.

PORTERVILLE, Calif. - Word was received of the July 19 death of former Defiance resident Elvera (Vera) Lange, 81, Porterville.
Graveside services were in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Portersville. Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel, Tulare, handled arrangements.

Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Thursday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
