Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, with Rev. Tom Graves officiating. Burial is in Lost Creek cemetery, Hicksville, with military rites accorded by Farmer American Legion Post 137. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home and after 8 a.m. Tuesday.

SHERWOOD - Lester D. Guilford, 81, Sherwood, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Harborside Healthcare Center, Defiance.
Services are at 11 a.m. Monday in the church with Rev. Robert Eble officiating. Burial is in St. Lutheran cemetery, Defiance County. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, and an hour prior to services Monday in the church.

STRYKER - Former Wauseon resident, Doris D. Heath, 93, Stryker, died Friday morning in Fulton Manor, Wauseon.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, with Pastor Bill Keith officiating. Burial is in Winameg cemetery. Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Paul Sheets
Paul H. Sheets, 79, rural Defiance, died at 9:12 a.m. Sunday in Brookview Healthcare Center.
He was born June 2, 1923, in Defiance, the son of Franklin and Anna (Siler) Sheets. He married
Mary Cavanaugh, who survives. He worked for General Motors for 30 years until his retirement and was also a retired farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and AMVETS Post 1991 and a life member of VFW Post 3360.
Also surviving are six sons, Douglas, Daniel, Andrew, Jeffery and Matthew, all of Defiance, and Kenneth, Bryan; two daughters, Yvonne of Toledo and Mrs. Daniel (Rose Ann) Froelich, Cecil; a brother, Martin, Sherwood; four sisters, Theresa Hoffman of Helena, Irene Zipfel of Ney, and Hildonna Hesselschwardt and Coletta Sheets, both of Defiance; and 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Barbara, in infancy; two brothers, Wesley and Joseph; and four sisters, Esther Batt, Rosie Gladieux, Agnes Vandoern and Mary Kuhn.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the church with Father David Tscherne officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites accorded by VFW Post 3360. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alice Lytle
NAPOLEON - Alice (Betty) Elizabeth Nase Lytle, 92, Napoleon, died Sunday morning in her home.
She was born July 1, 1909, in Seattle, Wash., the daughter of Frank and Mina (Hedge) Nase. In 1937, she married
William Lytle, who survives. She was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and an art teacher in Lakewood prior to her marriage. She was an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Napoleon and a former board member of HOPE School. She was also a Gray Lady at Henry County Hospital, a volunteer with Hospice of Henry County and active in several local garden and literary clubs.
Also surviving are a son, William, Napoleon; two daughters, Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Lytle-Rupp of Richmond, Va., and Mrs. Daniel (Martha) Schipfer, Greenville; and five grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-stepgrandchildren.
Preceding her in death was a daughter, Mona.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the church with Rev. William Fogg officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services.
Preferred memorials are to Hospice of Henry County or the church.
Jessica Slawson
PAULDING - Jessica Marie Slawson, Paulding, was stillborn Wednesday in Paulding County Hospital.
Surviving are her parents, Jeremy and Angel (Butler) Slawson, Paulding; a stepbrother, Jacob, Lafayette, Ind.; grandparents, Alta Butler of Payne and Mike Butler, Auburn, Ind.; and a great-grandmother, Alta Fraley, Payne.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Jeffrey and Diane Slawson; a great-grandfather, Richard Fraley, and paternal great-grandparents.
Graveside services were held Saturday in St. Paul cemetery, Paulding, with Rev. Mike Harper officiating. Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, handled arrangements.
Gene Bok
SHERWOOD - H. Gene Bok, 67, Sherwood, died at 4:12 p.m. Saturday in Harborside Healthcare Center.
He was born Sept. 30, 1934, in Defiance County, the son of Glenn and Della (Carpenter) Bok. In 1956, he married
Joyce Glick, who survives. He was a retired teacher for Central Local Schools at the Sherwood, Farmer and Mark Center elementary buildings and also served 12 years as principal at Mark Center. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Defiance, Sherwood Area Lions Club and Defiance County Retired Teachers' Association.
Also surviving are a son, Michael, Cecil; four daughters, Terri of Defiance, Mrs. Chuck (Suzie) Cox of Rossford, Mrs. Doug (Paula) DeCola of Ney and Mrs. Pat (Barb) Burger, Kettering; and seven grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood cemetery. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to the H. Gene Bok Scholarship Fund.

ANTWERP - Burta Smith, 70, Antwerp, died at 6:19 p.m. Thursday in her home. Arrangements are pending at Dooley Funeral, Home, Antwerp.

ALTA LOMA, Calif. - Hicksville native Robert M. Mastin, 71, Alta Loma, died at 6 a.m. Sunday in Alta Loma.
Private service arrangements are pending. Officiating will be Rev. Clarence Zimmerman. Burial will be in Forest Home cemetery, Hicksville, with military rites accorded by Hicksville VFW Post and American Legion Post 223. Handling arrangements is Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville.
Preferred memorials are to Boy Scouts of America.

BRYAN - LaMoille M. Huffman, 94, Bryan, died Wednesday in Harborside Healthcare Center, Bryan.

Services will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Rev. Kirk Peterson officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ohio Valley Memorial Gardens, Gallipolis, with Rev. Berkley Saunders officiating. Visitation is from 4 p.m. Friday until services.

Services for Glen H. Hohenberger were held Wednesday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Snyder officiating. Entombment was in Riverview Memorial Gardens mausoleum. Pallbearers were Larry Agler, Steve Aumend, Dan, Dave and Mark Hohenberger, Jerry Linebrink, Jim Meyer and Steve Porter.
