Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, with Rev. Max Begley officiating. Sherwood VFW Post 5665 will conduct military rites. Visitation is after 2 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Friday, with an Eagles service at 7 p.m. today.

NAPOLEON - Franklin Burdette Waisner, 81, Napoleon, died at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday in Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Napoleon.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Paul United Methodist Church in Defiance with Dr. Todd Anderson officiating. Entombment will be in the Riverview Memory Gardens mausoleum with military rites accorded by American Legion Post 300. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.

Services for Paul H. Sheets were held Wednesday in St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father David Tscherne officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with military rites accorded by Defiance VFW Post 3360. Organist was Dave Moninger. Pallbearers were Jeremy, Bill, James and Bruce Sheets, Dennis Gladieux, and Dan and Mike Froelich. Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home handled arrangements.
