Services for Walter L. Mansfield were held Thursday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Glines officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery with military rites conducted by Defiance VFW Post 3360. Pallbearers were Dustin, Michael and Brian Mansfield, Louis Skates, Larry and Robert Cheesbro, Julius Fonseca and Sammy Mendez.

Mary Louise Mangett, 101, Defiance, died at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday in Harborside Healthcare Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church with Father George Wenzinger officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home and 9-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. There will be a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. today.

There will be a Holy Name Society service and K of C rosary at 8 p.m. today, a scripture service at 3:30 p.m. Friday and a VFW service at 7 p.m. Friday.

She was born Dec. 4, 1915, in Ottoville, the daughter of Edward and Matilda (Weber) Eickholt.
