Maurice Louagie
CONVOY - Maurice W. Louagie, 81, Convoy, died at 12:55 a.m. Saturday in VanCrest Nursing Health Care Center.
He was born Feb. 14, 1921, in Allen County, Ind., the son of Emile and Julia (Deruyttere) Louagie. In 1944, he married
Clara Darras, who survives. He was a farmer and a member Van Wert County Farm Bureau, St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville, Ind., and its Holy Name Society serving as treasurer.
Surviving are two sons, Bob of Payne and Daniel, Convoy; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Mary) Junkin of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Robert (Diane) Thornell, Paulding; four sisters, Mrs. C. Dale (Marie) Stripe, Laura and Mary Alice Louagie, all of Van Wert, and Mrs. Joseph (Lena) Miller. Landeck; and 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a son, William; three brothers, Paul, Joseph and Richard; and a sister, Pauline Garmyn.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday (all Ind. times) in the church with Fathers Paul Couthina, Keith Stripe and G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Monday in Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, with a rosary service at 8 p.m. A prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday prior to services at the church.

Lillian Phillips
FORT WAYNE - Former Bryan resident Lillian Helene Phillips, 97, Fort Wayne, died Thursday evening in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born May 21, 1904, in Edon, the daughter of John and Mary (Riser) Klink. In 1927, she married
Norman Phillips, who died in 1996. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bryan.
Surviving are two sons, Marvin of Fort Wayne and Larry, Dayton; and six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-stepgrandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, Carmon Klink; and a sister, Elma Coolman.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the church with Rev. Richard Buchsteiner officiating. Burial will be in Edon cemetery. Visitation is from 1-4 p.m. today in Rice Funeral Home, Bryan.
Preferred memorials are to the church.
James Feehan
WINTERHAVEN, Fla. - Former Deshler resident James (Cletus) Feehan, 89, Winterhaven, died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday in Wedgewood Assisted Living Facility, Winterhaven.
He was born Sept. 25, 1912, in Deshler, the son of Lawrence and Anna (Nolan) Feehan. In 1950, he married
Agnes Dibling, who died in 1971. He retired from the receiving department at Champion Spark Plug, Toledo, after more than 30 years, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moose Lodge 1023 and American Legion Post 8, all of Winterhaven. He was a member of the former Eagles Aerie, Deshler, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving is a sister, Madonna Smith, Toledo.
Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Bernard, John and Richard; and a sister, Geraldine.
Memorial services will be on May 3 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler, with Father Paul Fahrbach officiating. Private burial will be in St. Paul Catholic cemetery, Hamler. There is no visitation. Handling arrangements is Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.
Erma Linebrink
Services for Erma J. Linebrink were held Friday in St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Donald Luhring officiating. Burial was in Independence cemetery. Music was provided by Jan Kaiser and Mike Kemper. Pallbearers were Lisa and Doug Linebrink, John English, Don Snyder, Jo Froelich and Mike Wagner. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Elmer Lanz
PAYNE - Elmer Paul Lanz, 81, Payne, died at 1:28 p.m. Saturday in Dallas Lamb Foundation Home, Payne.
He was born March 29, 1921, in Rockville, Conn., the son of Paul and Bertha (Gerber) Lanz. In 1944, he married
Clare Buehler, who survives. The U.S. Army veteran of World War II was a former sales representative for Erie-Haven Cement Co., New Haven, Ind., and retired in 1986 from Alco Products, Latty. He was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Paulding.
Also surviving are a son, Kerry, Haviland; four daughters, Mrs. Willy (Susan) Tops of Nieuwerkerken, Belgium, Christy Romoser of Columbus, Mrs. Mark (Jennifer) Higinbotham of Seattle and Mrs. Dwight (Julie) Weber, Temperance, Mich.; two brothers, Richard of Rockville and Howard, Seattle; five sisters, Eloise Webb, Florence Kloter, Charlotte Limberger and Alma Luginbuhl, all of Rockville, and Leona DeCarli, Chester, Conn.; and 11 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Preceding him in death were two sisters, Aline and Delvene Lanz; and a brother, Howard.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Paulding Church of the Nazarene, Paulding, with Pastor Dwight Weber officiating. Burial will be in Latty Apostolic Christian Church cemetery, Latty. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

Arthur Flory
Arthur L. Flory, 63, Defiance, died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday in Veteran's Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born March 25, 1939, in Defiance, the son of Aaron and Thelma (Allen) Flory. In 1967, he married
Barbara Goebel, who survives. He was a farmer and employee at Dinner Bell Foods for 32 years, retiring in 1990. He was a U.S. Army SP4 veteran and a member of VFW Post 3360, AMVETS Post 1991, Eagles Aerie 372, Moose Lodge 2094 and Poplar Ridge Church of the Brethren.
Also surviving are two sons, Troy and Timothy, both of Defiance; a daughter, Tina, Defiance; and a grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a stepfather, Carl Lumpkins; a son, John; and a brother, Elmer.
Private services will be held Saturday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Ridge cemetery. There is no visitation.

Erma Jean Linebrink
Erma Jean Linebrink, 78, Defiance, died at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday in Brookview Healthcare Center.
She was born May 7, 1923, in Lima, the daughter of S. Michael and Bertha (Wilser) Leidy. In 1946, she married
Donald Linebrink, who died in 2000. She was a homemaker, a member of St. John Lutheran Church and Defiance Senior Center and a Defiance Hospital Auxiliary volunteer.
Surviving are two sons, David of Maumee and Bill, Defiance; and six grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Also preceding her in death were two daughters, Nancy and Donna; three brothers, Robert, Willard and Howard Leidy; and six sisters, Lilly Burden, Lila Miller, Lenore Smith, Hazel Godwin, Margaret Jane Archer and Coletta Leidy.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church with Rev. Donald Luhring officiating. Burial will be in Independence cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the church, American Diabetes Association or Hospice the Caring Way of Defiance.
Martha Schroeder
ARCHBOLD - Martha (Betty) E. Schroeder, 79, Archbold, died Wednesday morning at Fairlawn Haven, Archbold, following a brief illness.
She was born April 29, 1922, in Napoleon, the daughter of Harley and Lola (Durbin) Travis. In 1942, she married
Harold Schroeder, who died in February. Prior to retirement, she worked at the former A&P Store in Archbold, Huner Jewelry Store and Napoleon's Charles Co. She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church and American Legion Auxiliary, both in Archbold.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Linda) Parnell of Archbold and Mrs. Roger (Dawn) Cramer, Napoleon; a son, Steve, Archbold; two sisters, Louie Cottrell of Defiance and Bonnie Palmer, Napoleon; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Terry; two sisters, Fern and Dort; and seven brothers, Dick, William, Earl, Clyde, Paul E., Naz and Bob.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the church with Rev. Thomas Lyberg officiating. Private burial will be in Archbold cemetery. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Friday. Handling arrangements is Grisier Funeral Home, Archbold.

BRYAN - Russell William Page, 95, Bryan, died Wednesday in Community Hospitals of Williams County-Bryan.
He was born Nov. 19, 1906, in Alvordton, the son of Ezra and Mary Ellen (Brightbill) Page. In 1928, he married
Marjorie Taylor, who died in 1996. He was a farmer.
Surviving are a son, Marvin, Bryan; and nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were two daughters, Eleanor Page and Phylis Warner; and two half sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Bryan, with Rev. Christopher Hintz officiating. Burial will be in Floral Grove cemetery, Pioneer. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today.

Mary Romes
OTTAWA - Mary M. Romes, 72, Ottawa, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday in her residence.
She was born Feb. 11, 1930, in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., the daughter of John and Agnes (Patenburg) Romes. She retired from the former GTE Sylvania and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. George (Gladys) Wagner of Napoleon, Mrs. Cletus (Ruth) Korte of Ottawa, Mrs. Dale (Elizabeth) Cuzynski of Bradenton, Fla., and Mrs. James (Eloise) Karl, Kalida; and three brothers, Clarence of Colorado Springs, Colo., William of Defiance and Irvin, New Bavaria.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Mathias and Herman Romes.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church with Father Tom Hemm officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Sunday in Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, with a scripture service at 3 p.m.

Kassandra Raymer
SHERWOOD - Kassandra Marie Raymer was stillborn Friday in Toledo Hospital.
She was the daughter of Ron and Joann (Huebner) Raymer, Sherwood.
Also surviving are a twin sister, Karlee, at home; two brothers, Zachary and Nicholas, both at home; and grandparents, James and Rita Huebner of Sherwood and Ruth Crisp, Indianapolis; and a great-grandmother, Beatrice Singer, Sherwood.
Preceding her in death were a grandfather, Stuard Raymer; and great-grandparents.
Private graveside services will be in Riverside cemetery, Defiance. There is no visitation. Handling arrangements is Rice Funeral Home, Sherwood.
