Joshua Clay
Joshua J. Clay, 21, rural Defiance, died Monday evening from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident near Wauseon.
He was born April 1, 1981, in Toledo, the son of Wesley and Cynthia (Dollarhide) Clay. He was a 1998 graduate of Tinora High School and worked in the packing department at Sauder Woodworking Co., Archbold.
Surviving are his parents, Defiance; a brother, Daniel, at home; three sisters, Sarah of Archbold, Cindy of Defiance and Melissa, at home; and grandparents, Carl and Lois Dollarhide, Mohawk, Tenn.
Preceding him in death were grandparents, Ralph and Vadis Clay.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Fairlawn Chapel, Archbold, with Rev. Aristotle Damaskos officiating. Burial will be in Johnson cemetery, Archbold. Visitation is after 12:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel. Handling arrangements is Short Funeral Home, Archbold.
Debra Woods
Debra Kay Woods, 46, Defiance, died at 3:21 p.m. Tuesday in Defiance Hospital.
She was born Feb. 25, 1956, in Defiance, the daughter of Steve and Mildred (Allgire) Michoff. She was a graduate of Defiance College, a sales clerk at Sears and a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her parents, Defiance; a son, Adam, Defiance; a daughter, Erica, Defiance; and a sister, Marcia Michoff, Defiance.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Riverview Memory Gardens mausoleum with Rev. Lanny Zup officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services Friday at the cemetery. Handling arrangements is Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.
Naomi Smith
ANTWERP - Naomi M. Smith, 71, Antwerp, died at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday in her residence.
She was born June 3, 1930, in Allen County, Ind., the daughter of Ray and Ida (Meyer) Zuber. In 1950, she married
Richard Smith, who survives. She was a loan officer at Weatherhead Corp., Antwerp, and a billing clerk at Dietrich Industries, Hicksville. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Antwerp and its Altar Rosary Society.
Also surviving are a son, Jeff, Antwerp; two daughters, Julie Hockenberry of Hartford City, Ind., and Joni Taylor, Antwerp; a sister, Helen Thompson, Payne; and 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church with Father Herman Scherger and Deacon Robert Nighswander officiating. Burial will be in Maumee cemetery, Antwerp. Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-8:30 p.m. Friday in Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp. A rosary service will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Albert Smith
NAPOLEON - Albert Smith, 88, Napoleon, died this morning in Lutheran Home, Napoleon. Arrangements are pending at Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon.
V. Louis Reinhart
PAULDING - Paulding resident V. Louise (Sal) Reinhart, 95, died at 2:17 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas Lamb Foundation Home, Payne.
She was born March 11, 1907, in Elliott, Ill., the daughter of Weaver and Nellie (Boundy) Todd. In 1927, she married
George Reinhart, who died in 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of Friends of the Library, Paulding's St. Joseph Catholic Church and several social and church organizations. She was a charter member of Paulding County Benevolent Society, John Paulding Historical Society and Catholic Study Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Monica Wilson, Paulding; three sons, Robert of Paulding, Fred of Tallahassee, Fla., and Steven, Toledo; and 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Martha Wilhelm; two sons, John and one in infancy; three brothers, Jesse and Orville Todd and Harold Boundy; and two granddaughters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church with Rev. G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial will be in Live Oak cemetery, Paulding. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Friday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Paulding County Senior Center or Paulding County Benevolent Society.
Maria Rosalez
PAULDING - Paulding resident Maria A. Rosalez, 77, died at 9:05 p.m. Monday in Dallas Lamb Foundation Home, Payne.
She was born Oct. 2, 1924, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, the daughter of Desededio and Antonia (Mena) Olvera. In 1943, she married
Prudencio Rosalez Sr., who died in 1994. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulding.
Surviving are four sons, Gilberto and Jacinto, both of Paulding, Prudencio Jr. of Sidney and Ruben, Bloomington, Ind.; five daughters, Fidela Navarette of Defiance, Clara Moreno of Pendelton, Ind., Sylvia Molina of Findlay, Anita Garza of Paulding and Ramona Ocampo, Decatur, Ind.; three brothers; five sisters; and 28 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Ernesto; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church with Rev. G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial will be in Paulding Memorial cemetery. Visitation is from 7:30-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Thursday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and for one hour prior to services Friday at the church. There will be a Spanish rosary service at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Dorothy Huffman
WAUSEON - Dorothy I. Huffman, 83, Wauseon, died Monday in Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo.
She was born Sept. 28, 1918, in Fulton County, the daughter of Earl and Mary (Frank) Johnson. In 1938, she married
Richard Huffman, who died in 1975. With her husband, she owned and operated Huffman Auto Supply, Wauseon, for 25 years. She was a member of First Christian Church, Wauseon.
Surviving are two sons, Butch and Tom, both of Wauseon; a sister, Ruth Clair, Archbold; a brother, Ed Johnson, Wauseon; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Robert and Richard Johnson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church with Rev. R. Keith Oditt and Ed Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Wauseon Union cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon.
Preferred memorials are to the church or Fulton County Senior Center.
Larry Geitgey
BETHLEHEM, Ga. - Henry County native Larry Scott Geitgey, 45, Bethlehem, died Monday.
He was born Jan. 21, 1957, in Henry County, the son of Charles and Elnora (Rettig) Geitgey. He married
Holly Sickels, who survives. He was a project manager for B&A Construction Co. Gainesville, and a former employee of Mel Lanzer Co., Napoleon, and Batson-Cook Construction, West Point, Ga.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael and Matthew, both of Athens, Ga.; a brother, Lynn, Defiance; and a sister, Pat Sealing, Syracuse, N.Y.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, Ga., with Rev. Gary English officiating. Visitation is one hour before and after services.

Dolores Goris
WESTON - Dolores L. Goris, 86, Weston, died at 5:12 a.m. today in Wood County Nursing Home, Bowling Green.
She was born Nov. 22, 1915, in Custar, the daughter of Peter and Veronica (Kleman) Maas. In 1935, she married
Emil Goris, who died in 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of Custar's St. Louis Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society.
Surviving are two sons, Robert of Custar and John, Weston; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Rita) Trumbull of Custar and Mrs. Robert (Linda) Boyle, Weston; a sister, Sister Therese Maas, OSF, Tiffin; and 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, Charles Maas; three sisters, Philomena Casey, Margaret Wilhelm Stoll and Marcella Jackson; and a grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church with Father Paul Fahrbach officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Thursday in Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, with a rosary service at 8:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Bridge Home Health and Hospice or Wood County 4-H Endowment Fund.
Virginia Buenger
Services for Virginia R. Buenger were held Tuesday in Riverview Memory Gardens mausoleum with Rev. Keith Hunsinger officiating. Music was provided by Lori Schultz and Marge Slocum. Pallbearers were William and Paul Cordray, Frank Eitniear, Steve and Darren Flickinger and Robert Pace. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Ruth Searcey
Ruth A. Searcey, 96, Defiance, died Sunday in Harborside Healthcare.
She was born Dec. 21, 1905, in Macomb, Ill., the daughter of Evan and Nell (McGann) Chatterton. In 1927, she married
Millard Searcey, who died in 1993. She was a 1927 graduate of Western Illinois State University, a homemaker, a member of First Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post 117 Auxiliary, Defiance Hospital Auxiliary and Kettenring Country Club and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. She was a former member of Sorosis, Wyant Art Club and Defiance College Women's Commission and a volunteer with Girl Scouts and American Red Cross.
Surviving are two sisters, June Cole of Wheaton, Ill., and Billie Solomon, Macomb; and a brother, Richard Chatterton, Carneys Point, N.J.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Revs. David Good and Gerald Mallott officiating. Entombment will be in Riverside cemetery's mausoleum. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Wednesday.

James Miller
CECIL - James I. Miller, 58, Cecil, died Sunday evening in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Dec. 14, 1943, in Lima, the son of Richard and Dola (Hepler) Miller. In 1991, he married
Kathy Fey, who survives. He worked at GM Powertrain, Defiance.
Also surviving are a son, David, Fostoria; a daughter, Mrs. Steve (Melinda) Kingsbury, Defiance; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, a sister and a grandchild.
Private memorial services will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Handling arrangements is Snyder Funeral Home, Holgate.

Dorothy Snyder
LIBERTY CENTER - Dorothy D. Kessler-Sunior-Snyder, 84, Liberty Center, died Monday afternoon in her residence.
She was born Oct. 19, 1917, in Liberty Center, the daughter of Royal and Maude (Rentz) Kessler. In 1937, she married
Robert Sunior, who died in 1974. In 1966, she married
Orville Snyder, who died in 1981.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Chuck (Linda) Thomas of Nevada, Catherine Sunior of Liberty Center and Mrs. Ray (Noreen) Smith, Napoleon; two sons, Charles Sunior of Napoleon and Robin Sunior, Liberty; a sister, Jennie Parsons, Liberty Center; a brother, George Kessler, Liberty Center; and nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Royal Sunior; three sisters, Fern Maunz, Erma Pelton and Lucille Kessler; four brothers, Walter, Orville, Howard and Ray Kessler; and a grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, with Rev. David MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh cemetery, Delta. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
